Jurnal Ilmiah Sarasvati (SV) awalnya dibuat pada tahun 2019 dengan penerbit Fakultas Bahasa dan Sains Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya. Pada tahun yang sama terdaftar ISSN oleh LIPI dengan nomer ISSN 2685-6808 yang terbit secara cetak dan sudah direview oleh mitra bestari. Pada tahun yang sama dibangun pembuatan Sarasvati secara online atau Open Journal System (OJS). Seluruh pengelolaan baik penerimaan artikel sampai review artikel dilakukan secara online. Terbitnya jurnal setiap tahun dua kali dengan jumlah 9 artikel tiap kali terbitan. Sarasvati diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM). Jurnal Ilmiah Sarsavati (SV) merupakan terbitan ilmiah berkala yang memuat artikel berbahasa Indonesia hasil penelitian dan kajian bidang bahasa dan sastra, baik bahasa/sastra Indonesia, bahasa/sastra daerah, bahasa/sastra asing, maupun pengajaran bahasa/sastra Indonesia. Sarasvati terbit setahun dua kali. Naskah yang akan diterbitkan dalam Sarasvati hanya naskah yang belum pernah dipubikasikan atau dimuat dalam jurnal lain. Penulis yang akan menerbitkan artikelnya harap mengikuti pedoman penulisan yang berlaku pada Sarasvati. Seluruh pengelolaan baik penerimaan artikel sampai review artikel dilakukan secara online. Bahasa Utama : Penerimaan artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia sedangkan bahasa tambahan : Abstrak diharuskan ditulis dengan 2 bahasa, yaitu bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of short story writing skills of students in class IX-8 SMP Negeri 6 Balikpapan through problem-based learning strategies. The research method used is Classroom Action Research, abbreviated as PTK or Classroom Action Research, a form of research that occurs in the classroom in the form of certain actions taken to improve the teaching and learning process in order to improve learning outcomes better than before. Increasing the score indicates that the implementation of actions in the cycle I and cycle II, were able to improve students' abilities in learning and practice of writing short stories. The application of problem-based learning strategies is also able to provide motivation and pleasure in the Indonesian language learning process, especially writing short stories. Students appear to be more active and more enthusiastic in participating in the short story writing learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of the learning process, the attitudes of students, and the results of learning to write poetry with POSTCARD MEDIA for students of class VIII Α SMP Angkasa. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with research subjects consisting of 22 students. This action research was conducted in two cycles, each of which contained four components, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Observation data were obtained through tests, observations, document analysis, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques through descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that the application of postcard media could improve students' poetry writing skills and motivation in learning to write poetry. The improvement of students' poetry writing skills can be seen from the quality of the process, positive attitudes, and learning outcomes of students during the learning activities to write poetry. The process improvement and positive attitudes of students in participating in learning activities are indicated by the activeness, interest, motivation, enthusiasm and seriousness of students who have increased in each cycle.

Abstract

Research applies a learning model with a scientific approach to learning. It is hoped that by applying a learning model with a scientific approach in learning, students will be more active so that their learning outcomes will increase. This study used a Classroom Action research design. The use of the scientific approach learning model can improve student learning outcomes achieving a class average score of 83 with a percentage level of completeness of 83.3% in Indonesian language learning on the material "Explanatory Text" in class VIII E SMP Negeri 1 Jebus in the 2020/2021 school year.

Abstract

Abstract Moral education is a core component in the world of education. Because humans need not only knowledge but also religious spiritual strength to form a complete human being (insan kamil) in accordance with Islamic norms. One of the ways is through high-quality literary works, namely the novel Light in the corner of the Heart by Alberthiene Endah. This study aims to determine: 1) The values of moral education in relation to God. 2) The values of moral education in relation to oneself. 3) The values of moral education in relation to others. This research is a descriptive qualitative type of research, while the data used is in the form of verbal data in the form of dialogue between characters, narratives, signs that describe moral education, and quotes that describe moral education. The data analysis used in this research is content analysis. The results of this study include three things. 1) There are three values of moral education in relation to God, namely: faith in God, obedience to worship and gratitude. 2) There are ten moral values in relation to oneself, namely: honesty, responsibility, healthy lifestyle, discipline, hard work, confidence, entrepreneurial spirit, creative, independent and curiosity. 3) There are three moral values in relation to others, namely: being aware of one's obligations and of others, appreciating achievements and being friendly.Keywords: values, moral education, novels

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to conclude the content of the news read through the technique of applying the online discussion method (in the network). The research method uses classroom action research (PTK). The research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 school year for two cycles in October 2020 at Salman Al Farisi Junior High School, Bandung. Based on the findings and results of data analysis, it can be concluded that learning through the discussion method can improve students' ability to conclude news content. This is based on the following findings. Through the discussion method, students are more enthusiastic and enthusiastic in concluding the content of the news that is read. This can be observed based on the results of reflection activities in cycle I, from 25 students as many as 17 students stated that they were more enthusiastic about concluding news content using the discussion method, while in cycle II all students stated that they were more enthusiastic about concluding the content of the news using the discussion method.

Abstract

The use of still traditional learning models is one of the causes of the underdevelopment of students in terms of both values and interest in learning. Indonesian subjects that are supposed to be fun get boring if the learning model used is not appropriate. The game based learning model with UNO Stacko for question card media is one of the innovative learning models that teachers can use when learning Indonesian. This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes and to describe the effects of game-based learning models with the UN Stacko for question card media on Indonesian language learning outcomes for seventh grade students at MTS Darul Ulum Lamongan. This research is an experimental type of research with a quantitative approach. The sample of this research includes 2 groups of 7th grade students for the 2020-2021 academic year. Data collection techniques in the form of observations and tests. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that there were differences in the learning outcomes of the Indonesian language in the group of students with the application of game-based learning models and in the groups of students with the application of conventional learning models and the application of this learning model influenced Learning outcomes of grade VII Indonesian students at MTS Darul Ulum Lamongan strong.

Abstract

AbstractToday, films have become a means of communication and conveying ideas that are increasingly massive. However, the purpose of dialogue and communication in films is sometimes not understood by most ordinary people. Therefore, we analyzed the speech act (dialogue) of one of the short films entitled "Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini Eps 01". The researcher has a purpose in writing this article, which is to describe, analyze, and explain the purpose of the illocutionary speech act in the short film "Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini Eps 01" on the toyotaindonesia youtube channel. The research method this time used descriptive qualitative, then for the technique, used the listening and note-taking technique. The results obtained in the analysis of illocutionary speech acts in the short film "Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini Eps 01" on the youtube channel toyotaindonesia found 9 illocutionary speech acts that have a cooperative function, 3 illocutionary acts that have a contradictory function, 2 illocutionary acts that have a function competitive, 1 illocutionary act that has a fun function. The expected results of this research will be useful for readers, especially in understanding illocutionary speech acts and can be used as teaching materials or references for learning Indonesian.Keywords: speech act analysis, illocutionary speech acts, short films, youtube

Abstract

The problem that arises in this classroom action research is the low learning outcomes of Indonesian in the remaining class VIII of SMPN One Roof 3 clan Jaya. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in Indonesian learning outcomes for students through the Improvement of Persuasion Text Writing Skills with the Think Talk Write Strategy for Class VIII Students of SMPN One Roof 3 Marga Jaya in the Academic Year 2020/2021. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The method of collecting research data is through observation and tests. While the research indicator is KKM 72%. From the research results indicate an increase in student achievement. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that pre-cycle learning completeness by 72% increases to cycle I which reaches 82% means an increase of 9%. From cycle I to cycle II there was also an increase in learning completeness, namely from 82% in cycle I to 86% in cycle II. Thus, from the initial condition to the final condition, learning completeness has increased by 14%.

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 brings convenience to accelerate and expand the distribution of information. For regional languages, this situation can not only be seen as a challenge but also an opportunity. The application of regional languages as a communication tool as well as a marker was captured as an opportunity by one of the regional information accounts, Asli Suroboyo. Among the Instagram accounts based on regional information, AsliSuroboyo is one of the accounts that survives with its trademark, namely using the Javanese dialect of Arek as a medium of communication. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts to maintain the Javanese dialect of Arek on the AsliSuroboyo Instagram account. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with primary data sources coming from uploads and captions on Suroboyo's original Instagram account, while secondary data is obtained from a literature study on related topics. The data were analyzed descriptively to examine the relationship between uploads and captions used in the AsliSuroboyo account with efforts to maintain the Javanese dialect of Arek. The results of the study show that the AsliSuroboyo account consistently uses the Javanese dialect of Arek as a medium of communication. The use of Javanese dialect of Arek can not only be interpreted as an effort to maintain language as a communication tool, but can also be used as a means of showing regional identity. Through these efforts, followers of the AsliSuroboyo Instagram account can also feel attached and can introduce their regional identity to a wider scope.

Abstract

Abstrak. Sastra lahir dan tumbuh berkembang di tengah-tengah kehidupan masyarakat. Sastra ditulis dengan tujuan mengekspresikan diri pengarang terkait perasaan, pengalaman pribadi maupun keadaan lingkungan sekitar. Hal serupa juga terlihat dalam karya sastra karangan Agus Sunyoto yang berjudul Sastra Jendra Hayuningrat Pangruwating Diyu yang mana dalam novel tersebut mengisahkan perjalanan pencarian jati diri seorang tokoh Sudrun yang dipenuhi dengan berbagai konflik batin di dalamnya. Pada Novel tersebut digambarkan bagaimana tokoh Sudrun yang dianggap gila oleh masyarakat dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Dijelaskan pula dalam novel tersebut beberapa tokoh dengan karakter yang berbeda. Dalam perjalanan mencari kesempurnaan jati, membuat Sudrun harus berkelana di negeri India dan menemukan banyak sekali orang-orang serta peristiwa-peristiwa tak terduga yang sedikit banyak menimbulkan pertentangan antara perasaan dan akal yang tak selaras. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepribadian tokoh dan konflik batin pada tokoh Sudrun dalam Novel Sastra Jendra Hayuningrat Pangruwating Diyu karya Agus Sunyoto menggunakan kajian Psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud.Kata kunci: Psikoanalisis, Konflik Batin, Novel Sastra Jendra Hayuningrat Pangruwating  Diyu Abstract. Literature was born and grew up in the midst of people's lives. Literature is written with the aim of expressing the author's self related feelings, personal experiences and the circumstances of the surrounding environment. The same thing is also seen in Agus Sunyoto's literary work entitled Sastra Jendra Hayuningrat Pangruwating Diyu which in the novel tells the journey of searching for the identity of a Sudrun character which is filled with various inner conflicts in it. The novel describes how the Sudrun character is considered crazy by the community and the surrounding environment. It is also described in the novel several characters with different characters. In his search for the perfection of identity, Sudrun must travel in India and find a lot of people and unexpected events that more or less cause a conflict between feelings and thoughts that are not in harmony. Based on this, this study aims to describe the character's personality and inner conflict in Sudrun's character in the literary novel Jendra Hayuningrat Pangruwating Diyu by Agus Sunyoto using the Psychoanalytic study of Sigmund Freud.Keywords: Psychoanalysis, Inner Conflict, Literary Novel Jendra Hayuningrat Pangruwating Diyu
