Abstract

Developing evaluation instruments in the student learning process in interactive, fun, challenging, motivating, and developing students 'creativity and independence are needed to improve students' High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and digital literacy skills (DLS). HOTS and digital literacy are part of the 21st-century skills that are important for every individual. This study developed a test instrument integrated with Augmented Reality (AR) and Google Scholar (GS) to encourage HOTS and students' digital literacy skills. This type of research was development research. The subject matter was the scale and comparison. Product trials were applied to 11th-grade students in Sleman, Indonesia. Product validity was based on expert judgment, item validity, distinguishing power, difficulty level and reliability to reach a good category in general. AR was created using the ARLOOPA application operated with android. The research instrument was designed to increase HOTS and DLS.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of satisfaction of students at SMA Negeri 1 Nunukan Selatan doing assignments with the Live Worksheet Application during online learning. Thus, it is hoped that teachers can choose applications that make it easier for students to do assignments. The method used is quantitative. Collecting data using the questionnaire method. This questionnaire is distributed online using the Google Form application. The instrument for measuring the level of student satisfaction consists of 10 statements; 3 statements about student participation in doing assignments using the Live Worksheet application and online learning barriers; 7 statements about the level of student satisfaction using the Live Worksheet application in doing assignments. There are 55 students or 71.43% of students who have used the Live Worksheet application while there are still 22 students or 28.57% of students who have never done assignments using the Live Worksheet application. There are 94.55% of students who have done assignments with the Live Worksheet application more than 4 times. Students experience obstacles in online learning, namely 66.23% of students have difficulty understanding the lesson, 49.35% of students lack concentration and 42.86% of the internet network is inadequate. There are 77.37% of students who are very satisfied that they agree that the Live Worksheet application should continue to be used to work on assignments in online learning, while 22.63% of students are dissatisfied so that they do not agree that the Live Worksheet application should continue to be used to work on assignments in online learning.

Abstract

Procrastination in learning physics by students who are seen from the point of view of their failure in working on, completing, and collecting answers to physics which is the background of this research. The first objective of this study is to reconstruct the pattern of learning difficulties in understanding the process of student behavior in order to minimize academic procrastination. Second, to find out the percentage of implementation of the Triple-C model in minimizing physics academic procrastination. Third, knowing the percentage of completeness in learning physics with the Triple-C model based on Livezopadizdo. The Triple-C model with the following phases Controversial Group, Exploring, Communication Deep Dialog, and Clarification Concept. The data analysis technique uses the Grounded Theory method. The conclusions obtained from this study are: first, the construction of patterns of learning difficulties in understanding the process of student behavior in order to minimize academic procrastination in the pandemic era with teaching and learning activities in online and offline conditions. Second, the average percentage of the implementation of the Triple-C model in minimizing physics academic procrastination is 92.2%. Third, the percentage of completeness in learning physics in the application of Livezopadizdo accompanied by the Triple-C cycle model is 100%.

Abstract

Face-to-face learning that involves interaction between friends and teachers is very difficult to replace with distance learning. Vaccination of educators and education staff is one of the country's priorities in accelerating face-to-face learning. Educators and education personnel in the Yogyakarta city education unit have implemented a complete COVID-19 vaccination in April 2021, so that SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta is required to provide limited face-to-face learning services (PTMT) and facilitate distance learning. Quality grouping is needed to limit the number of students who receive PTMT services. The process of grouping a set of data into clusters that have similarities is determined by calculating the distance. This study grouped students with the KNIME application and Microsoft Excel. Furthermore, the analysis of the calculation of the quality of the grouping of the two applications is carried out to get the best prototype. The manual calculation uses the Euclidean distance formula to calculate the distance between documents and the silhouette coefficient method to calculate the characteristic difference (distance difference) between clusters and the characteristic equation (closeness of distance) of the data in one cluster. The results of the K-Means algorithm clustering output from the KNIME application have a quality of 0.3208 (weak) while the excel manual has a quality of 0.6331 (medium), so the results of the excel manual are recommended to help the school curriculum classify PTMT.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a blended learning design for class XI physics subjects in the new normal era. This research is a form of R&D research with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model. In this study, researchers only arrived at the second stage, namely needs analysis and design of blended learning model designs. Data collection techniques used observation sheets to validate the blended learning design, research instruments in the form of observation sheets, qualitative data analysis. Product design planning by compiling blended learning designs with reference to the competence of physics subjects in the C-19 emergency period with blended learning syntax. Based on the analysis of learning needs, blended learning is the most effective to be applied in the new normal era. The learning design (brief design) blended learning physics with the flipped classroom model by paying attention to face-to-face variations of offline learning and online learning with a percentage of 50%-50%. The results of the validation of media and material experts obtained that the assessment of the learning object to adapt from the LORI was 8543.53%; 86, 84% fall into the category of strongly agree., the online learning process evaluation questionnaire through blended learning design is 81,25% in the fairly good category; 89.58% is in the very good category. The questionnaire for the assessment of blended learning is 85% in the quite good category; 90% fall into the very good category. Based on the conversion table and qualifications can be obtained that the average aspect or indicators 85,48%, then the results of expert validation material content and media developed blended learning design can be tested as they had been very good classification.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and explore the meaning of the decorative motif of the Mandar silk woven sarong as local wisdom in Polewali Mandar. The value of character education value is contained in the ornamental variety of Mandar silk woven sheaths. Internalization of the meaning of ornamental variety to the values of character education for learners in school. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method through an anthropological approach. Data collection is done through library studies, interview, and direct observation. The object of his research is a variety of ornamental Mandar silk woven sheaths and students of SMA Negeri 1 Polewali. The results showed; 1. The ornamental variety of Mandar silk woven sheaths as the wisdom of local culture is in the form of a rectangular pattern. Having an essential meaning in its society includes relating to the symbol of the content of the universe and the noble values of human nature, namely honesty, justice and firmness of the establishment. 2. The value of character education values that exist in the ornamental variety of Mandar silk woven sheaths as the noble value of human nature can be transferred in the formation of student character including religious values, honesty, independence, hard work, creative, and cooperation. 3. Internalization of the meaning of ornamental varieties of silk weaving sarongs to the value of character values for learners can be realized by changes in attitudes, behavior, and appearance of students in interacting in school.

Abstract

Target capaian penelitian ini untuk menjadikan siswa lebih aktif dan hasil belajar FPB dan KPK menjadi lebih baik dengan memberikan pembelajaran matematika realistik kepada siswa kelas IV SDN Ngentakrejo Kulon Progo tahun 2021 dan mendeskripsikan penerapan langkah-langkahnya. Siklus yang dirancang penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua putaran yang dikemas menjadi lima pertemuan. Setiap pertemuan dilaksanakan dengan mengadopsi pada skema Kemmis & Mc. Taggart yang memuat empat langkah dalam setiap putaran siklus. Penelitian ini menggunakan 26 siswa sebagai subjek yang dikenai tindakan. Data yang terkumpul melalui instrumen penelitian kemudian dianalisis untuk menghitung persentase keaktifan siswa dan seberapa banyak siswa yang tuntas belajar. Penerapan langkah-langkah pembelajaran matematika realistik yang dilakukan dengan pemberian masalah kontekstual, penggunaan alat bantu pembelajaran, diskusi kelompok, diskusi kelas, membandingkan hasil diskusi, dan menarik kesimpulan terbukti dapat membuat keaktifan siswa dan hasil belajarnya menjadi lebih baik. Persentase keaktifan siswa tampak meningkat dalam siklus I pada tiga pertemuan berturut-turut sebesar 83,46%, 84,23%, dan 85%. Siklus II pada dua pertemuan berturut-turut, persentase keaktifan siswa sebesar 85,77% dan 88,08%. Sedangkan, persentase siswa tuntas belajar dalam siklus I pada tiga pertemuan berturut-turut sebesar 53,85%, 57,69%, dan 65,39%. Siklus II pada dua pertemuan berturut-turut, persentase siswa tuntas belajar sebesar 76,92% dan 84,62%.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve student’s interest and learning achievement in mathematics learning through the blended learning model. The research conducted in two cycles with each cycle using four components, consist of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Bambanglipuro in 2020/2021 academic year. Data collection techniques used in this study were teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets, student interest questionnaire instruments, and student achievement test instruments. Data analysis in this study includes presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that; 1) the implementation of the blended learning in cycle II had reached the success indicator with a percentage of 95.24%; 1) the use of the blended learning model is able to increase students' interest, seen from the data in cycle II, it has achieved success indicators of 76.67% of students are in the high category and 33.33% of students are in the very high category in the class, and 2) the use of the blended learning is able to improve student achievement. This can be seen from the data in the second cycle that has achieved a success indicator of 76.67%, that is, 23 students are considered completely out of 30 students in their class. 3) the results of the observations on the implementation of the blended learning in cycle II had reached the success indicator with a percentage of 96.67%. Based on the research results, blended learning can improve improve student’s interest and learning achievement in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This best practice article aimed to analyze and evaluate mentoring with the Gradual Release of Responsibility model for teachers in strengthening literacy and numeracy learning. The mentoring involved six selected senior high schools in Yogyakarta based on the urgency of strengthening literacy and numeracy learning. The Gradual Release of Responsibility model actualized the release of responsibility in stages: 1) Focused Lesson, 2) Guided Instruction, 3) Collaborative Learning, and 4) Individual Work. The data analysis showed teachers' understanding of literacy in learning, from 56% to 69%. Meanwhile, teachers' understanding of numeracy in learning crawled from 36% to 61%, increasing 25%. Teachers' skills in planning literacy learning increased by 15%, from 70% to 85%. Teachers' skills in planning for numeracy lessons experienced a sharp increase of 35%, from 38% to 75%. It could be inferred that mentoring with the Gradual Release of Responsibility model had a significant impact, although it did not achieve optimal results. There were some obstacles related to the same time as vaccine completion activities for teachers and students. The limited literature on implementing the Gradual Release of Responsibility model in school supervision put the findings a new insight and a novelty both at the level of practice and research. Furthermore, it is recommended for supervisors and schools to adopt the Gradual Release of Responsibility model for both teacher and student guidance in improving literacy and numeracy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' self-regulation learning through online tutoring services with the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) model assisted by media thinglink. The research subjects were students of class XI MIPA-1 SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta in the 2020/2021 academic year. The type of research carried out is Action Research for Counseling Classes (PTK BK) which follows the model of Stephen Kemmis and Robin McTaggart, through the stages of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research method is observation using an instrument prepared by the researcher with reference to the study of the theory used. The data analysis technique uses a qualitative descriptive technique, which describes the implementation of online tutoring services with the STADmodel assisted by media thinglink from the planning, action implementation, observation and reflection stages in each cycle. The results showed that there was an increase in students' self-regulation learning abilities, in the metacognitive aspect before the action was in the position of 77.20%, after the second cycle of action became 89.90% increased by 12.70%. In the aspect of motivation before the action, 76.70% after the second cycle of action increased to 87.40%, the increase in the motivational aspect was 10.70%. Furthermore, in the behavioral aspect before the action was taken, 74% after the second cycle of action became 83.30%. Improved indicators on behavioral aspects increased by 9.30%. From the results of this counseling class action research, it can be concluded that the online tutoring service model of the STAD assisted by media thinglink can improve the self-regulation learning of students in class XI MIPA-1 SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta.
