Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the application of problem solving learning models with puzzles on the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years in TK Dharma Wanita Ajakkang Timur, Barru Regency. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with the type of Quasi Experiment research. The population in this study was group B in TK Dharma Wanita Ajakkang Timur Kab. Barru. Sampling in this study was purposive sampling. The sample in this study were 10 children, 5 children as the experimental group and 5 children as the control group. The data collection technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and nonparametric statistical analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the problem solving learning model with puzzles on the cognitive abilities of children in the experimental class.

Abstract

Studi ini menelaah tentang Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Kartu Angka terhadap Kemampuan Berhitung Permulaan Anak Pada kelompok B di Paud Kartini Kabupaten Bantaeng sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan berupa penggunaan media kartu angka. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design control group design, pendekatan yang dipilih iyalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini terdapat 22 anak. Tehnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu tehnik random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan berhitung permulaan anak sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media kartu angka terhadap kemampuan berhitung permulaan anak pada kelompok B di Paud kartini Kabupaten Bantaeng.

Abstract

Salah satu permainan yang membutuhkan kesabaran dan teliti dalam menyusun puzzle merupakan permainan menyusun potongan-potongan gambar. Puzzle untuk anak usia 2-4 tahun memiliki bentuk sederhana dengan potongan atau keping puzzle yang sederhana dan jumlahnya tidak terlalu banyak. Berbeda dengan puzzle untuk anak usia 4-5 tahun jumlah kepingannya lebih banyak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh kegiatan bermain puzzle jari tangan terhadap kemampuan motorik halus pada anak kelompok B di Taman Kanak-kanak Al Hasyim. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Adapun subjek penelitian yaitu Taman Kanak-kanak Al Hasyim pada kelompok B dengan jumlah anak didik 20 0rang dan 2 guru. Prosedur penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 3 cara yaitu tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengenai kemampuan motorik halus anak melalui kegiatan puzzle jari tangan di Taman Kanak-kanak Al Hasyim Kecamatan Biringkanaya Kota Makassar menunjukkan bahwa melalui kegiatan puzzle jari tangan dapat mengembangkan motorik halus anak. Dengan kegiatan puzzle tersebut, maka seorang guru dapat mengetahui secara langsung dan melihat gambaran terhadap kemampuan-kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh anak didik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk  mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan saitifik berbasis contextual teaching and learning terhadap kemampuan sains anak pada PAUD Al-Wildan Kec. Wonomulyo Kab. Polewali Mandar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah  quasi-experimental design atau eksperimen semu. Teknik   pengumpulan   data   yang   digunakan  adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis-t (Separated Varian) diperoleh thitung lebih besar dibanding ttabel pada taraf signifikan dan derajat kebebasan tertentu. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan sains kelompok anak yang mengikuti pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik berbasis CTL termasuk kategori tinggi, serta terdapat pengaruh positif penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis CTL terhadap kemampuan sains anak di PAUD Al-Wildan Kecamatan Wonomulyo Kabupaten Polewali Mandar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of paper quilling on the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years. This research approach is quantitative with the type of pre-experimental research and the research design of one group pretest-posttest design. This study took place at ABA II Kindergarten, Arallae, Bone Regency, with the subject of research on the effect of paper quilling activities on fine motor skills consisting of 12 children as research samples. Data collection techniques used are observation, treatment test and documentation. The results of the analysis showed that there were significant changes in the fine motor skills of children before and after being given paper quilling activities, based on the paired sample test, the Sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is an influence given by paper quilling activities on the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years. For further researchers in examining aspects of child development, it can be simulated with paper quilling activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in creativity skills through finger painting activities at the ABA I Rambipuji Kindergarten. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, with the type of research being Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were 15 students and 1 teacher. With a focus on creativity research and finger painting. Data collection is observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The type of this research is classroom action research (Classroom Action Research). In the implementation of the action, two cycles are planned which are carried out through a cycle assessment process consisting of 4 main stages, namely; 1) action planning, 2) action implementation, 3) observation and 4) reflection. Based on the results of the study, it was found that finger painting activities could increase the creativity of the ABA I Rambipuji Kindergarten children.

Abstract

Early childhood education is the initial foundation of all aspects of development that children have, one of which is language development. Language development is a very important aspect, especially in the ability to read. Receptive language is a child's ability to understand, hear and listen to information or understand meaning. Receptive language skills of children aged 3-6 years become the basis for expressing emotions, messages, socializing, and learning to the next stage of development. This study is to find out the children's receptive language skills through storytelling activities. This study is a class action study. The results of this study showed that there was an increase in the children's receptive language skills in the second cycle of listening to pictorial stories from 13 children. In listening activities there are 2 children developing as expected, 11 children develop very well. In the retelling activity there are 4 children developing as expected, 9 children develop very well.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to improve the language skills of students of group B PGRI Ujung Indah through the application of cooperative learning methods. The research uses a qualitative approach, a type of Classroom Action Research. Data collection methods are observation and documentation. The target of the study was 15 children consisting of 7 men, 8 women, and 1 educator. From the results of research on children's language skills. Cycle I of the first meeting the average value is 2.07 and the second meeting is 2.40. Cycle II increases the average value to 3.33. The second meeting was 3.60. The indicator of a child's vocabulary wealth in cycle I of the first meeting is 1.67, at the second meeting is 2.60. In cycle II there is an increase. The first meeting of the average score was 2.80 and the second meeting was 3.13. On the indicator of the child's ability to tell the content of the story about the picture in the sequence, cycle I of the first meeting of the average score is 1.87, the second meeting of the average score of the protege is 2.33. In cycle, II occurs the first meeting of the first meeting the average value of the protégé is 2.93. The second meeting was at 3.20.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the improvement of children's fine motor skills through grain sticking activities in Aisyiyah Ranting Kasi-Kasi Makassar Kindergarten. Based on the results of learning improvements using classroom action research methods implemented through cycle actions I and II through planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This study involved students in the age group of 5-6 years as many as 18 people. Based on the results of the data analysis showed that the average value of the assessment category of learning outcomes obtained by children in cycle I and cycle II related to creativity and fine motor skills of children increased with classical learning completion 92 percent. The increase is seen from indicators of the carefulness of motion control in sticking to grains, uniqueness, and originality of form in sticking to grains.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is how to develop children's emotional intelligence through block games at Dharma Wanita Persatuan II Kindergarten in Karanganyar? The purpose of this research is to describe the development of children's emotional intelligence through block games at Dharma Wanita Persatuan II Kindergarten in Karanganyar. This research uses classroom action research. The results showed that children's emotional intelligence can be increased through block games. It is proven that in cycle I, the development of children's emotional intelligence through block games is still lacking, as the indicators developed (controlling emotions, self-confidence, recognizing emotions, showing emotions and being patient) are still lacking. In cycle II, children's abilities have increased, namely children are able to control emotions, have self-confidence, recognize emotions, show emotions and be patient. Thus, the block game at Dharma Wanita Persatuan II Karanganyar Kindergarten can develop children's emotional intelligence.
