Abstract

Early childhood education is one of the educational institutions that play an important role to help the government prepare the younger generation as early as possible which is the goal of early childhood education which helps lay the foundation for the development of behavioral attitudes, knowledge, skills, and creativity needed by students. This study aimed to find out the Improvement of Children's Fine Motor Skills Through Plasticine Play in Dompyong Kindergarten. They were the subject of 15 children. Data is collected using observation sheets. The data is analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of observations in the study, it can be concluded that playing plasticine by following the learning steps established can improve students' fine motor. This improvement is seen in indicators 1) Coordination of the child's hands and eyes in composing plasticine, 2) Smoothness of the child's arm in making a shape from plasticine material. The increase is seen in the results of the average value of the cycle of 2 students for two indicators is 3.60, and the complete value of learning is 100%

Abstract

This study examines how to improve children's early reading skills through the method of playing word cards at Baitul Aziiz Kindergarten Surabaya. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, with the type of research being Classroom Action Research. From the results of student observations with indicators, the child's ability to distinguish the sound of words from the 15 students present, 4 children in the developing category as expected, and 1 student in the very well developed category. In the indicator of the child's ability to mention letter symbols according to sound, 3 children developed according to expectations (BSH), and 3 children developed very well. At the second meeting of cycle II there was an increase. From the results of student observations with indicators, the child's ability to distinguish the sound of words from the 15 students present was 2 children in the developing category as expected and 13 children in the very well developed category. In the indicator of the child's ability to mention letter symbols according to sound, 3 children developed according to expectations, and 12 children developed very well.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of finger painting activities in increasing the creative ability of students in the age group of 5-6 in Khadijah Dadapan Kindergarten. Quantitative research approach with quasi-experimental design type of research. The subjects of the study were ten children. The results of finger painting application to children's creativity are seen from the data description at the first meeting. As many as three children are in a good category, and seven are in a suitable type. The ability of children to make various forms using plasticine was met secondly, with six children in the excellent class and four in the good category. Indicators of children being able to paint using fingers with various new creations were obtained at the first meeting. Four children were in the excellent class, and six were in a suitable category. At the second meeting, eight children were of an appropriate type and two in a good variety. Thus, it was concluded that finger painting affected students' creativity in Khadijah Dadapan Kindergarten.

Abstract

This research was conducted to increase children's creativity through drawing activities. The subjects of this study were 15 students of Bina Insan Jember Kindergarten. This research is action research using the Kemmis & McTaggart model with the implementation procedure starting with the stages of planning, implementing, embedding, and reflection activities. Data were collected through teacher activities in drawing and observation of students' actions while participating in learning activities. The results showed that drawing activities could increase students' creativity based on the child's ability to create original and independent works and the child's ability to create unique and different drawings. The data in the second cycle obtained the completeness of students' learning outcomes with an average in the category very well. The increase in learning outcomes can be seen in the interest of all children in drawing activities using pencils, crayons, and watercolors.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine efforts to improve students' fine motor skills through plasticine play activities. The research subjects of the students of TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan Pangkemiri Sidoarjo East Java, totaling 15 people. The focus of the study was fine motor and plasticine play activities. This study used a classroom action research approach with descriptive data analysis to display data using student observation sheets. The results of data analysis showed that plasticine play activities were able to improve children's fine motor skills. The improvement appears in the ability to form eye and hand coordination and the smoothness of the child's hands. The analysis data of the results showed an increase from cycle I with the completeness of learning outcomes of 23% with an average score of 1.80 to 40% of the totality of learning outcomes and the average score of students of 2.47 in cycle II and continued to increase in cycle III with the acquisition of completeness of learning outcomes reaching a maximum of 100% with an average score of students of 3.27.

Abstract

This study aims to improve vocabulary mastery skills through singing methods using classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students in group B of Dharma Wanita Persatuan II Bangil Kindergarten, Pasuruan, with a total sample of 15 children. Data on children's initial ability in vocabulary mastery are still in the low category, so stimulation is given through singing methods. Based on this, the results of the study obtained showed that there was an increase in the ability to master vocabulary in children with an average score of the ability to distinguish the sounds of letters, words, and the use of sentences in the first cycle in the less category, experiencing an increase in the second cycle in the process of obtaining an average score on excellent criteria. Likewise, the average score of children's ability to express words and sentences clearly in the first cycle, which is in the lower category, has increased in cycle II is also an outstanding category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of playing number cards in improving children's initial reading ability based on making a match with a total sample of 20 children. The research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type of research using one group pretest-posttest design. Based on the research results, the use of number cards improves children's early reading ability. The results of this increase can be seen in the average value of the indicators used, namely distinguishing words and distinguishing sounds/letters at the time of pretest is 2.05, and the percentage of learning completion is 33%. in the posttest there was an increase of 3.65 and learning completion was achieved for all children. This is because in carrying out word card-playing activities, teachers run well according to the stages of playing word cards and learning scenarios that have been prepared.

Abstract

This study examines the stimulation of children's fine motor skills through image coloring activities in group B of Dharma Wanita Majauleng Kindergarten, Wajo Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of research, the one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was 11 children. The data collection technique uses Pretest–Posttest Design, and the results are analyzed using descriptive quantitative. The results of the image coloring activity on the improvement of children's delicate motor stimulation showed that the measurement data from the pretest, the fine motor ability of students in the learning completion value of the low category. The results of post-test scores show that the average value of students' fine motor skills is very high, with classical learning completion scores achieved by all children. This study shows that the activity of coloring children's drawings can train children's strength in holding writing stationery so that students are trained to develop their fine motor skills.

Abstract

This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach; using a descriptive type of research, the problem studied in the form of an implementation method to develop language skills will be described using an exemplary system based on the results of the analysis of the issues that occur in children's language skills, especially expressive language. The data collection technique is carried out through observation; the data obtained is analyzed, and a conclusion is drawn. Activities that can be done to overcome existing problems are telling stories using pictures with listening-revealing exercises, question and answer activities, giving rewards, and telling stories using props or not. The subjects of this study were protégés in kindergartens. Based on the results of observations made by researchers, it can be concluded that children's language skills can be developed through various activities through storytelling activities using illustrated media.

Abstract

This research aims to see how playing with plasticine activities improves children's creative abilities. The research subjects were 15 students of Idhata Pitumpidange Kindergarten. This study uses a quantitative approach, non-parametric descriptive statistical data analysis, and data collection instruments with observation sheets. The results of the research analysis have been carried out through several meetings and based on all the discussions and data analysis that have been carried out. It can be concluded that the use of playing plasticine influences increasing the ability of creativity. Playing plasticine activities can improve children's imagination, with indicators in the research being the skills to make shapes and add other conditions to existing forms. This is shown from the data analysis of Idhata Pitumpidange Kindergarten students in Group B with 15 students. The results of data analysis showed that at the time of the pretest, the creativity ability level was 40.0%, with an average value of 2.23. 90%, and the average value of students is 3.07.
