Abstract

This study examines the impact of the "KINOSA" learning community on enhancing organizational learning performance at SMAN 1 Banjarsari, located in Banten Province, Indonesia. Utilizing a qualitative case study approach, the research incorporates observations, in-depth interviews with educators and the school principal, and surveys among members of the learning community. The findings highlight the critical role of the "KINOSA" community in improving three key dimensions: student academic performance, teacher collaboration, and the development of pedagogical expertise. Specifically, student academic scores increased by 15%, while the frequency of teacher collaboration rose by 80%, underscoring the effectiveness of the collaborative learning environment fostered by "KINOSA." Additionally, the community-driven professional development programs significantly enhanced teachers' pedagogical skills, with a particular focus on adaptive teaching methods tailored to student needs. These results align with Peter Senge's framework of organizational learning, which emphasizes the importance of continuous, shared learning within dynamic, responsive organizations. The study advocates for the adoption of learning community models like "KINOSA" in other schools facing similar challenges to holistically improve organizational learning outcomes.

Abstract

This systematic literature review aimed to explore the impact of massive technology use on the reading habits of students in Indonesia, with a focus on the impact of digital media on their reading behavior. This review covers studies from 2019 to 2024, a period marked by the COVID-19 pandemic and the transition to digital learning environments. The findings show that reading habits among Indonesian students are generally low in various regions, including Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua. The widespread use of smartphones and computers for entertainment purposes, such as gaming, social media, and video streaming, has significantly reduced the time spent reading traditional or academic material. Although technology offers extensive access to educational resources, the dominant use of technology for recreational activities hinders the development of strong reading habits. This research shows that students' reading habits in Indonesia tend to be low and are influenced by the use of technology, especially smartphones and computers, which are more often used for entertainment than reading. Awareness and self-control in using technology are the keys so that students can utilize technology to improve their reading habits, so that technology can become a useful tool rather than an obstacle in the learning process.

Abstract

An effective and valid learning device for chemoentrepreneurship-based projects was produced for solve the one of many problems learning in Indonesia, especially about environment-managed thinking skill. This is important to optimize to increasingly explore education during senior high school and to earn a living after graduation. By this research, we can be overcome by STEM-integrated project-based learning on the topic of environmental management in the form of teaching materials and chemoentrepreneurship oriented. This research aimed to produce chemistry teaching materials: ecological management based on project-based learning-oriented chemoentrepreneurship. This research was developed using the method Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate shortened to ADDIE model and using 8 expert validators to provide validation of material and media content. The results of the research showed that the validation of materials and media was declared valid because the Vcount obtained was 0.90 exceeding 0.75 in the Aiken's test. As well as 90% declared that the device is feasible to use to learn. This statement is reinforced by the results of 63 students as responses who studied at an islamic senior high school were used for limited testing. They said that this new device of teaching materials obtained a percentage of 90% and was categorized as very good for study material about entrepreneurship-based environments.

Abstract

Contemporary education is characterized by its adaptability to the changing needs of society, its promotion of diversity and sustainability, and its utilization of both traditional and digital teaching methods to equip students with the necessary skills to face the challenges of the 21st century. Adaptive learning is a crucial implementation that teachers must comprehend to facilitate student-centered learning. This study aimed to investigate the perceptions of 17 randomly selected teachers from Wahid Hasyim Middle School regarding their experience of adaptive environmental management in their teaching, using factor analysis techniques. The results indicate that video and audio media are predominantly used in educational interactions, reflecting the adaptation to digital technology trends in teaching. Furthermore, course delivery, lesson planning, teaching strategies, teaching methods, learning media, and educational resources emerged as highly significant factors. The discovery and organization of content revealed a preference for student-centered approaches and student-oriented teaching strategies. Finally, supporting teacher collaboration highlights the importance of team collaboration, community engagement, and professional networks in contemporary educational development. However, this study has limitations in terms of its specific context, variable focus, and lack of causality analysis. Therefore, future research may aim to diversify the data, delve deeper into causal factors, and update the data regularly to maintain relevance in an ever-changing educational context. Thus, these findings provide valuable insights into dealing with contemporary educational dynamics.
