Abstract

This research measures financial performance of local government (PAD) at Medan city using ratio analysis. Local government fund must be spent based on 3 E principles that is economic, efficient, and effective. Moreover, acountability is not simply showing the ability to expend public funds, but including on how to spend economically, efficient, and effective. The result indicates the average of PAD in Medan city is above 80%, although the regular expenses are still above PAD. Therefore, the dependence level to the central government is very high.

Abstract

Researcher used quantitative research approach. The kind of this study is causality relationship and explanation. Population of the study consist of 65 Property, Real Estate and construction companies on registered at Indonesia stock exchange (BEI). Sampling of this study were amount 186 of financial statement come from Property, Real Estate and Construction companies registered at Indonesia Stock Exchange on the year of 2011-2016. Colleting data technique is documentation study. Analysis uses multiple linear programming model. The study result’s shows that Economic Value Added (EVA) partially no effect and not significant to Price Book Value (PBV) on property, real estate and construction companies registered at Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on the year 2011-2016. Return on Asset (ROA) partially effects and significant to Price Book Value (PBV) on property, real estate and construction companies registerd at Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on the year tahun 2011-2016. Total Cash Flow partially effects and significant to Price Book Value (PBV) on property, real estate and construction companies registered on Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on the year 2011-2016. Economic Value Added (EVA), Return on Asset (ROA) and total cash flow simultaneously effects and significant to Price Book Value (PBV) on property, real estate and construction companies registered at Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on the year 2011-2016.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how to improve small business waving home industry in the framework of creative economic development in Pematang Siantar. The existence of the data shows that the creative economy home industry considered can contribute significantly both to the regional and national economy aspects influences the study. The benefits of research is the existence of strategies that can be used by the weavers to improve home industry in economic development efforts. The analysis tools used is SWOT analysis that analyzes the strength (strengths), weakness (weakness), opportunities (opportunities), and threats (threats). The research sample was 150 people with using snowball sampling technique. SWOT Strategies: Produce more ulos particularly at a specific moment, and break away from dependence towards tokeh; Utilize tokeh to sell the resulting weaving, routine in a woven, and weavers teach their skills to their children; Weaver should actively seek information the price of ulos and see the target market in another town, also raise prices with warranty quality, innovative, and interesting ulos ; Utilize the fund raising from financial institutions significantly, conduct training and guiding to the weavers periodically; Maintain customer trust weaving ulos by way of maintaining uniqueness, characteristics, and quality product of ulos.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Tidore Islands City and was the focus of the target in Tidore District. The method in this study is qualitative descriptive. The stages of the study included primary data sources which were informants, namely the Head of Social Services, Manpower and Transmigration, Head of District, Head of Village, and KUBE Management, as well as supporting data in the form of written documents and technical guidelines from the Tidore City Social Service and Transmigration Office Island. Data collection techniques through observation (observation) and interviews (interviews), usinginstruments tape recorder, questionnaires and notebooks. Data analysis was carried out by flowing stages of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. As for testing the credibility of data through increasing persistence to be able to provide accurate and systematic data descriptions of what was recorded, discussion of colleagues can make data more accurate through Focus Group Discussion (FGD), checking members by discussing research results to data sources that have been provide data, and check data with experts, namely: Expert Staff in the implementation of Regional Government focused on policy.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of capital structure, dividend payout ratio and investment decisions to company value in consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2017. This study uses quantitative research methods. Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques and secondary data collection from the financial statements of the Consumer Goods Industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2017. The sample used in this study were 72 consisting of 18 companies with 4 research periods. Method of data analysis used in this study wasmultiplelinear regression techniques with SPSS application. Data testing was done by classical assumption test, coefficient of determination test, F test and t test. Conclusions from the results of this study partially capital structure, dividend payout ratio and investment decisions have a positive and significant effect on company value while simultaneously capital structure, Dividend Payout Ratio and investment decisions jointly influence and significant effect on company value. Where the error rate used is 5 % or 0.05 at significant level of 95%

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of free cash flow , dividend policy and leverage to profit management in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 – 2014. This study uses quantitative data that have been published in the Indonesia Stock Exchange ( BEI. The samples used in this study were 145, including 29 companies that met the study criteria , as this study using purposive sampling method in sample selection . While the method of data analysis using panel data regression techniques with Eviews 9.0 application. The result of tests performed by using chow test and Hausman test choose better fixed effect model. Results in partial test (t test) obtained that free cash flow and leverage effect on profit management while the dividend policy has no effect on profit management . While the results of simultaneous ( F test ) obtained free cash flow , dividend policy and leverage effect simultaneously to profit management . Where the error rate used is 5 % or 0.05 at significant level of 95%

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of economic value added (EVA) and market value added (MVA) toward stock return, through intellectual capital as mediation. The time period in this study was taken between 2011-2015. The sample in this research using purposive sampling method amounted to 27 companies listed on the Stock Exchange. The analysis technique used is moderated regression analysis. This study shows some of the results. Both economic value added (EVA) and market value added (MVA) havepositive and significant effects on stock return and also Intellectual Capital is able to strengthen EVA's and MVA’s positive relationship with stock returns.

Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that is so fast has an impact on changes in interaction that previously directly communicate to be virtual. Based on the similarity of interests and many preferences that make a particular community and then the online world is channeled by forming an Online Social Community Network in interacting in cyberspace. This provides an opportunity to do business development through Online Networks. This service improvement is certainly one of the ways for companies or organizations to emerge and to provide more services to customers especially internal companies. One form of service is the determination of Quality of Service or service quality. The calculated service quality is the average customer traffic value online. Fuzzy logic as part of artificial intelligence is able to make predictions about things. Compared to artificial neural networks that are able to make predictions and fuzzy logic is superior because there is no need for training data to determine output. By using fuzzy logic for the online customer traffic assessment model, it can be immediately known the value of the quality of Service. The valuation model used is using fuzzy logic. The input variables used are 3 variables and each variable has 3 membership sets. The output variable used is Quality of service, there are 3 sets in that variable which are whether under QOS, same as QOS, or above QOS

Abstract

KUBE UKM registered at Sei Lekop Village is a small and medium-sized business that manufactures and markets fish crackers, SMEs in agriculture (farming), in the field of fisheries, snacks, Mandiri Bank, mega snacks and cookies. The problems currently faced by MSMEs are financial reports compiled each period not yet with financial accounting standards of entities without public accountability, MSME actors find it difficult if they have to use accounting in their business activities, inability and unwillingness to use accounting, and many MSME actors feel that activities the business was running normally but actually the MSMEs had not progressed. The presentation of accounting guidance that is based on the actual conditions in the MSME business and the use of the right approach will make SMEs understand accounting quickly and easily. The method used in the training that will be given to small and medium enterprises in Sei Lekop Village is the survey method, lecture method, discussion method and training method. Sustainability from the results of coaching activities is expected that SMEs are able to understand the recording and objectives in the financial statement notes, SMEs are able to analyze and make financial reports independently in accordance with the accounting cycle of each period based on SAK-ETAP. The results of the SME service felt that there was still a need to adjust the preparation of financial statements with the entity's financial accounting standards without public accountability, to improve the financial performance of MSMEs running smoothly.

Abstract

Human resources within a company's organization is a unity that can not be separated. Labor discipline for employees is the creation of a pleasant working atmosphere so that will increase the spirit of work in carrying out the work. Performance is one of the work that is charged to employees in completing the work to achieve employment targets. The research method used in making this Final Project is a quantitative method by processing data from the results of questionnaires using the SPSS Version 22 application program.Based on the calculation, the value of correlation coefficient is 0.903 which means very strong and has a positive relationship between labor discipline on employee performance. Labor discipline affects employee performance of 81.5% and the remaining 18.5% is influenced by other factors.The result of regression equation equal to Y=-4,054+0,804X means that is addition of 1% labor discipline, so that the performance value decreased to 4,054.
