Abstract

This research approach is based on a quantitative approach. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. The nature of this research is causal. The population in this study were all employees of PT Indako Krakatau, Medan, as many as 60 people were taken in 2017. To determine the number of samples, researchers used the Slovin formula and obtained as many as 52 employees. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. Sources of data needed in this study are primary data and secondary data. The results of the study on the hypothesis indicate that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Indako Krakatau. Work discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Indako Krakatau. Work motivation and work discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Indako Krakatau. 59.8% of the performance of PT Indako Krakatau employees can be explained by work motivation-free variables and work discipline while the remaining 40.2% is explained by other independent variables not examined in this study such as career development, training, leadership, and others.

Abstract

Right now in this era of globalization, the information technology is speeding up. The computer is a device that was created to facilitate human work, while achieving good progress in the manufacture of hardware and software. PT. Korma Jaya Utama requires a computerized system that supports and provides good service for its employees. That's why the author tries to make the Final Project on Payroll Program Design at PT. Korma Jaya Utama Jakarta. PT. Korma Jaya Utama is a company engaged in the food processing industry, especially soy sauce. The existing system at PT. Korma Jaya Utama is done semi-computerized, so it has frequent constraints such as errors in the calculation and payment of salary, search data long enough, recording absent absences are still done manually, errors in calculating overtime until making reports that require time long. So with a computerized system is the best solution to solve the problems existing in this company, as well as with a computerized system can be achieved an effective and efisisen activities in supporting activities in this company.

Abstract

Investment analysis is very important for investor to make sure that their investment will get return as their expected. Macro economics, industry and company performance are the factors that investor need to observe. The objective of the research was to know the causal relationship of company’s financial performance factors and macro economic factors to Jakarta Islamic Index stock market performance period 2006-2008. This research uses return on equity ratio, current ratio and debt to equity ratio as company’s financial performance factors. Consumer price index or inflation and foreign exchange (USD) used as the macro economic factors. Stocks return used as Stocks market performance indicators. All of these factors and indicator are useful in investment horizon. Multi regression was used to analyze the hypotheses. The result of the research shows that: Company’s financial performance factors and macro economic factors influence stocks return simultaneously. Partially, only debt to equity ratio, inflation and foreign exchange influence the stocks return.

In childhood, physical growth begins to increase both height and weight along with the development of muscle coordination and mental abilities. In that phase, all children would have experienced sick in his life, which mostly caused by pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, parasites and fungi. Early detection and treatment of the disease Measles must be done quickly and accurately, because measles can be easily cured but deadly if left untreated. The disease is most common in children, and especially in developing countries such as Africa and some Southeast Asia. Measles can cause children vulnerable to diarrhea, pneumonia, blindness and brain damage. So in need The Expert System for Diagnosing Measles in children a more practical and efficient to the android based mobile devices by utilizing the development of IT technology and knowledge of modern medical world. This expert system using techniques Best First Search and Forward Chaining with a knowledge base derived from a variety of sources related to measles to get the final result of the conclusions and recommendation of treatment.

Abstract

This study was conducted to identify Smart Hafiz product product attributes, measure the level of customer satisfaction with Smart Hafiz product quality, analyze the factors that affect customer satisfaction with Smart Hafiz, determine Smart Hafiz attributes so that customer satisfaction increases. The method of selecting respondents is based on non probability sampling by using purposive sampling, where the respondents selected correctly have criteria as samples with a confidence level of 95%. The primary data in this study were obtained from the results of a closed questionnaire distributed to Al qolam customers and reseller of the EPD Idea team Edo Aprianto with a total of 50 respondents and 22 questions. The results of this study are Smart Hafiz product attributes and can be grouped into 6 quality dimensions. namely the main functions of the product (performance), reliability (aesthetics), aesthetics (aesthetics), conformance (durability), durability (durability) and ability (serviceability). Measuring the level of customer satisfaction obtained by the percentage of customer satisfaction on the quality of Smart Hafiz product attributes is 90.8%, while the percentage of customer dissatisfaction with the quality of Smart Hafiz products is 9.2.0%. Product attributes that are considered to meet customer expectations are Smart Hafiz can stimulate audio children, Smart Hafiz as a support media for parents to educate children, Smart Hafiz reduces children using gadgets, Smart Hafiz stimulates children's visuals, and Smart Hafiz's physical form is neat / smooth.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to know how agricultural sector able to take the role in labour absorbtion in North Central Timor Regency, to know its regional development components during 2013 until 2017 and to project the amount of work opportunity in agricultural sector in North Central Timor Regency at ten years forwards, that is 2018 until 2027. The level of agricultural sector role in absorbtion of labour in regency North Central Timor between year 2013 up to year 2017 experiencing of degradation, While in the year 2014 experiencing of improvement and back experience of degradation in the year here in after that is year 2015 and year 2016. Condition of employment growth in agricultural sector of North Central Timor Regency is in a fast group with the net friction value is 3.125,61. By the fixed economic growth assumption 0,14557677 while the amount of resident is continusly increase, in 2017 the increase of employment in agricultural sector would be happened equal to 41.305 or a number of 4.130 per annum during the year of 2018 until 2027

Abstract

This research has aim to know the influence of service quality on customer’s satisfaction, the influence of customer’s satisfaction on customer’s loyalty, and the influence of service quality on customer’s loyalty. The data conducted by distributing questionnaire to 100 of respondents of BNI Jalan Sudirman branch. This questionnaire composed of 21 items with 5 options of scale and was analyzed by path analysis. The result of this research which showed service quality influences customer’s satisfaction significantly with total contribution as 52,7%, customer’s satisfaction influences customer’s loyalty significantly with total contribution as 14,1% and service quality influences customer’s loyalty significantly with total contribution as 12,8%. Another result the direct determination coefficient of service quality on customer loyalty is higher than indirect determination coefficient of service quality on customer’s loyalty through customer’s satisfaction. Direct determination indicated by score of 46,3% and indirect determination indicated by score of 12,8%. It was concluded that customer’s satisfaction as intervening variable which bridges service quality and customer’s loyalty

Abstract

The purpose of service is Institutional Capacity Development and Productive Economic Business of the Joint Business Group. The service location is in the Esa Oesena Faculty in East Miomaffo District, Timor Tengah Utara Regency. Participants who were the object of the training in this service were members of the "Flamboyant" Joint Business Group. The process of empowering the poor through the Joint Business Group in Oesena Village begins with the introduction stage, namely by forming groups. There are 3 important phases in the empowerment process, namely: Initial Phase, Participatory Phase and Emancipatory Phase. From this activity 10 selected groups who will then receive further assistance are ready to be empowered and developed according to their capabilities and capacities. Then for the development of the capacity and institutions of the Joint Business Group there are several approaches that can be carried out by empowering parties. or empowerment actors that the implementation of the process in achieving empowerment goals can be achieved through an empowerment approach which is abbreviated as 5P, namely: Possibility, Strengthening, Protection, Supporting and Maintenance. In connection with the above empowerment approach until now the method carried out by the empowering actors in this case the North Central Timor District Social Service is bribing, protection and temporary maintenance for the possibility and reinforcement fully handed over to field facilitators. Where the steps taken by the field facilitators and the Joint Business Group in Oesena Village are as follows: increasing the intensity of meetings and fostering group leadership, while in financial administration there are additional bookkeeping such as Activity Plan Books, KUBE Members Welfare Development Cards, Books Acceptance of KUBE Assistance, While this effort carried out by field facilitators is a partnership

Abstract

Calculating IP address subentting can be difficult if the CIDR value has a large number of subnets. An example of a class A IP address has a CIDR / 17 value, so if we calculate it manually and create a table there will be thousands of tables that we cannot count one by one to get the IP subnet, initial IP, final IP and IP broadcast. Many technicians working in network computer engineering are confused in calculating IP addresses if the value of the subnet is large. Therefore the author makes the application of the IP address subnetting calculation to make it easier for network technicians, students and students. Of course this application is based on Android because Android users are also getting more and more. In making the application the writer uses indigo java based eclipse tools and design planning using UML (Unified Modeling Language)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the supervisory function in the application of employee work discipline and to find out the application of employee work discipline at the Regional Inspectorate Office of Muna Regency. The collected data is then classified according to the type and source, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively by explaining or describing the data and information from each variable which is observed as it is. For primary data obtained through review of documents, interviews and observations, the data is first edited to find out the tendency to be further described based on the tendency. While secondary data is directly described after being integrated in the text or discussion. The results of the study indicate that the supervisory function in implementing work discipline at the Regional Inspectorate of Muna Regency is carried out through the direct supervision function and indirect supervisory functions.
