Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes by applying the peer tutoring method. This type of research is a kind of quasi-experimental research design with pretest posttest control group design. This study has two types of variables, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. Where the independent variable is the peer tutoring method and the conventional method while the dependent variable in this study is mathematics learning. The population of this study is all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Empat. The research sample was class VIII-3 (control class) and class VIII-4 (experimental class). The instrument used is a test, then the data is analyzed by t test. Based on the t test obtained thitung = 2.400> t table = 2.03 or a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 means that H0 is rejected. This means that there is an increase in cognitive learning outcomes of students by applying the peer tutoring method.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out and describe the influence of motivation on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan. Data collection methods used are field studies (observations and questionnaires), and literature studies. The types of data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the influence of motivation on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan has provided good motivation to employees where part of Abraham Maslow's theory is fulfilling physiological needs, security, social, appreciation and self-actualization needs are met and the application of motivation has shown that improving employee performance is influenced by motivation, which has a high relationship

Abstract

Community service aims to make UMKN (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in Sungai Arang Hamlet, Bungo Dani District, Bungo Regency able to make their own books so that they are orderly in carrying out their financial records so that their expenses and income can be measured and profits obtained. The target of service is UMKN (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) located in Sungai Arang Hamlet, Bungo Dani District, Bungo Regency. Preparations were made with a survey to see the conditions in the field regarding the accounting for MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). The implementation was carried out by training methods with the presentation method followed by question and answer discussions and case studies Results of bookkeeping training activities for MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in Sungai Arang Hamlet Bungo Dani District, Bungo District This financial accounting training showed a positive response from actors or trainees so that training participants can understand and improve the skills and knowledge of business people, can separate personal finance from businesses, and business people can know the development of their business through good accounting.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to examine and analyze the effect of sales promotion and pricing on customer decision partially and simultaneously. The data analysis was performed by multiple linear regression analysis. This research uses a quantitative approach, this type of research was a quantitative descriptive and the research nature of this study was cumulative causal. The research populations were 3080 customers. The samples were drawn using a slovin technique so that the samples used for regression test were 154 respondents and 30 respondents were used for validity and reliability testing of customers at PT Deltamas Surya Indah Mulia The results show that simultaneously, sales promotion and pricing have a positive and significant effect on the employee performance in which F-count (32,274)> F-table (2,66) with significant level of 0,000 <0.05). Partially, sales promotion with the value of t-count 3,098> t-table 1, 97580 with significant level of ( 0,002 <0,05) and pricing with t-count of 4,862> t-table 1.97580 with significant level of ( 0,000 <0,05) had a positive and significant effect on the customer’s decision. The result of determination coefficient test show that 29% from variation of dependent variable of customer’s decision can be affected by sales promotion and pricing and the remaining 71% can be explained by this variation not mentioned in this research as motivation of work, compensation, and so forth.

Abstract

The research method used the quantitative approach, a type of research was the quantitative descriptive, the nature of research was the explanatory. The methods of data collection were the interview, questionnaire and documentation study. The method of analysis was multiple linear regression by testing classical assumption, namely normality, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity. The population in this research were 65 employees of PT. Berkat Utama Nuansa, samples taken sampling saturated, namely 30 from PT. NESS Jl. Besar Namorambe No. 70 Kel. Namo Mbelin Kec. Namo Rambe tested the validity and reliability. The results of the research on the hypothesis showed that the work experiences and work satisfactions simultaneously (Test F) had a positive effect to employees performance with a value of 73.866. Partially (Test t) the work experiences had a positive effect with a value of 8,003 and the work satisfactions had a positive effect with a value of 0,387 to the employees performance. The result of determination coefficient test (R Square) obtained Adjusted R Square of 0,695 showed that the work experiences and work satisfaction affect to the employees performence with a percentage rate of 69,5% while the remaining 30,5% were other factors not examined by the researcher

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect simultaneously and partially variable cash holding, profitability, and leverage to income smoothing in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. The method in this research is quantitative research method with the type of this research is descriptive verification of causality. The hypothesis in this study was tested using descriptive statistical analysis and logistic regression analysis using SPSS 25.0 software. Sampling technique used in this study is a purposive sampling technique that obtained 6 research samples within a period of 5 years so that obtained 30 units of sample mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017.The results showed that cash holding, profitability, and leverage simultaneously have a significant affect on income smoothing. Partially, cash holding has a positive and significant effect on income smoothing, while profitability is proxied by return on assets (ROA) and leverage is proxied by a debt to asset ratio (DAR) does not have a significant effect on income smoothing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether Profitability (ROA), Operating Expenses on Operating Income (OEOI), Non Performing Finance (NPF) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) are significantly simultaneous and partial to the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) in Commercial Banks Sharia in the period 2014 - 2017.The population in this study is Islamic banking. The sample is determined based on the purposive sampling method, a total of twelve Islamic banks. The secondary data were taken in the form of bank financial statements starting from 2014 until 2017. The technique of data analysis in this research using data panel regression analysis. CAR as the dependent variable, ROA, BOPO, NPF and FDR as independent variables. Data Processing using Eviews software version 9.5.The results provide evidence that ROA, BOPO, NPF and FDR have a significant simultaneous influence on CAR in sharia commercial banks for the period 2014 - 2017. BOPO and NPF partially have a insignificant negative effect on CAR. ROA and FDR partially has a significant effect on CAR.Based on the results of this study, then if Islamic banking wants to increase capital, then Islamic banking needs to suppress Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), increase Return On Asset (ROA), accumulation of retained earnings and conducting an Initial Public Offering (IPO)

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of compensation and physical work environment on employee performance at PT Inno Wangsa Oils And Fats. Data collection was used in this study in the form of questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data sources used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique used by the author in the form of multiple linear regression analysis serves to determine the effect / relationship of the independent variable with the dependent variable, validity test and reliability test, Classical Assumption Test and Hypothesis Test / Goodnes of fit test. Based on the results of the research partially, it shows that only compensation variables have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at PT. Inno Wangsa Oils And Fats. While the results of testing simultaneously show that compensation behavior and physical work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Inno Wangsa Oils And Fats.

Abstract

Decreasing purchasing decisions can be seen from not achieving sales targets caused by sales and advertising promotion activities that have not attracted customers. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach, this type of research is quantitative descriptive, and the nature of this research is descriptive explanatory. The method of data collection is done by interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis method used is multiple regression. The population is 134 customers and the sample in the study is 100 customers. Hypothesis calculation results The results of partial hypothesis calculations that the value of tcount (5.587) is greater t table (1,985) and a significant value of 0,000 is smaller than 0.05 and the tcount (2.666) is greater ttable (1,985) and a significant value of 0.009 is smaller than 0 , 05 while hypothesis testing simultaneously that the value of F count (19,729)> F table of (3,09) with a significance level of 0,000 <0,05. From these results that can be concluded simultaneously and partially sales and advertising promotions have a positive and significant effect on flight ticket purchase decisions at PT Prima Megah Wisata Medan. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination can be seen from the Adjusted R Square value of 0.274. This means that 27.4% of purchasing decisions can be explained by independent sales and advertising promotion variables while the remaining 72.6% is explained by other variables outside of this study, such as service quality, personal selling, prices and so on.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect bad credit at the Cooperative, which specifically examines the problem of bad credit experienced by the Solata Cooperative Cooperative in West Sulawesi which is increasing. these factors are limited to three variables, namely: loan interest rates, credit collectibility and accounts receivable turnover. This study uses multiple regression analysis techniques to determine the effect of factors that influence bad credit in the Solata Cooperative. The results showed that, of the three factors that had a significant influence only the credit collectibility value, with a significance level of 0.024. Meanwhile, the interest rate and receivable turnover factors have no effect on bad credit at the Solata Multipurpose Cooperative.
