Abstract

Price is a company management system that will determine the appropriate basic price for the product or service and also need to determine strategies related to discounts, payment of freight costs, and various related variables. While a trusted brand is a brand reliability capability, based on consumer confidence that the product is able to meet the promised value and brand intentions based on consumer belief that the brand is able to prioritize the interests of consumers. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the price and trusted brand effect on consumer purchasing decisions Go-Jek. In this study, researchers want to know how big these variables affect purchasing decisions. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between price and trusted brand to the purchase decision with F test results of 48.719 while F table can be seen by using f table with residual free degree (df) that is 97 as denominator and df regression is 3.94. Since F arithmetic (48.719)> F table (3.94) then H1 accepted. Based on the significance, visible column sig is 0,000 that means the probability of 0,000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected, then a significant difference between the price and the trusted brand on consumer purchasing decisions Go-Jek.

Abstract

Good and quality communication can help improve relationships and overcome problems, whereas poor communication will disrupt those relationships and tends to lead to ongoing conflict. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in interpersonal communication between students who have a boyfriend with students who do not have a boyfriend at MAN 1 Medan. The hypothesis proposed is that there is no difference of interpersonal communication between students who have boyfriend with students who do not have boyfriend at MAN 1 Medan. Research subjects amounted to 50 students who have been selected based on the criteria required by researchers. The data were collected using interpersonal communication scale by giving questionnaire to the research sample. Data analysis method used in this research is regression test using Pearson Product Moment and Alpha Cronbach formula. Abstract

This study aims at tracing the first language acquisition of two children at age of 4.2 and 1.8. This study is conducted based on naturalistic observations. The method used is the descriptive qualitative method. The observation is carried out by recording the activity of the subjects (Octa – 4.2 years old, and her sister, Adek – 1.8 years old) using a camcorder and also making hand writing. The recording consists of natural and spontaneous conversation among the two children and their father. The result of the study presents that a 4.2-year -old) child seems to be able to use sentences having grammatical features corresponding to adult language and master declarative, negative, imperative, interrogative sentences, but the type of the clauses used is limited to the simple sentences. An 1.8-year-old child seems to be able to use single words to express idea but utters some words imperfectly. She omits a first consonants such as /h/, or even vowel of a particular word; reduplicate syllables; and substitute consonants /c/ with /t/, consonant /s/ with consonant /h/. It is not expected that an one year, eight months to be able to accurately produce the /r/ sound because it may be pronounced /l/.

Abstract

Abstract Mariani International Hotel Padang is a 3 star hotel (***) located at Jalan Bundo Kanduang 35 Padang. Mariani International Hotel Padang always seeks to members or workers who engage in such activities can provide achievements in the form of high productivity to achieve its intended purpose. Mariani international hotel in Padang employee relations activities have been very well built. It can be seen from the many programs that have been conceived and developed by internal party hotel. As the event gathering of employees and festivities, excursions, sport commonly called an informal discussion, with a variety of information regarding the state of the hotel, outbound training, training and others are all aimed to strengthen the relationship of all employees both fellow employees or between superiors and subordinates. So with the employee relations activities had created a strong team building, loyalty to the job and the company as well as the emergence of a sense of spirit in employees, which in turn can increase work productivity. Based on the results of this study concluded that in fact the age and taste of seniority is not an obstacle to productivity. Things that support increased productivity is the sense of family keakrapan and have a sense of empathy with Mariani International Hotel Padang.

Abstract

Abstract Flats Directorate of The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing is government agencies in charge of providing flats. The research method used is the method of observation, interview method, and method of study documentation. The official script is the organization of written communication which includes setting the type, format, filling, legitimacy, security, distribution, storage of the official script, and media used in official communication. The implementation of electronic service on the flats directorate of public works and public housing shall be in accordance with Ministerial Regulation No.54 of 2009. Electronic service script is an application used for the storage, distribution, and security of service scripts. The weakness of this application is on inputting outgoing mail, but can be overcome by inputting manually. By the existence of this electronic service script, the work in the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing is expected can be more effective and efficient.

Abstract

The tourism industry is an industry that is relied upon and developed as one of the sectors driving economic growth, because the tourism sector significantly affect the economy of people in the region. To develop the potential of tourism in the region in need of a branding destination that aims to market the potential of an area. One of the most effective activities in strengthening branding is through brand activation activity. Brand activation is an activity that contributes to build trust between consumers, society and products. This research tries to trace the importance of branding destination through brand activation activity. This research uses qualitative paradigm with descriptive method. Data were obtained through direct and indirect interviews, Focus Group Discussion, literature review, and documentation.

Abstract

This purpos aims to determine: Influence Brand Equity to Purchase Decision sim card. Research method with quantitative descriptive approach.. Independent variables in this research are Brand Awareness, Brand Associations, Perceived Quality, Brand Loyalty and the dependent variable is Purchasing sim card decision. Data collection using questionnaires with a total sample of 100 respondents who are buyers and users sim card card prime card. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. Partial research results obtained three variables that are partially significant that the brand association (X2) with a probability significance value α of 0,000 <0.05 units of tcount> ttable is 8.871 > 0,1996, perceived quality (X3) with probability significance value α, 000 0,000 <0,05 while the tcount value is 5,549> 1,96 and brand loyalty (X4) with value of probability α equal to 0,002 <0,05 while value thitung> ttable is 3.249> 1.96.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out about the plot that exist in movie “The Lake House” where the writer used a qualitative method. The writer was interested in analyzing this movie because the movie contained some advantages especially for those who want to use the movie as a medium of learning. The first advantage was that the story in this movie was very unique with the forward and backward plot. The second, this moviecontains the high value of literary arts. And the third, thatthe dialogue in this movie was not too fast, so that it was very useful to make the language learners easy to learn English. The results showed that the plot of this movieconsisted of six parts. They were preliminary exposition, starting point, rising action, climax, falling action, and ending.Understanding the plot was very important for the audience to make the story easier to be understood.

Abstract

This research type is quantitative research with correlational methods. The population in this study directly into the sample amounted to 37 people. The technique used sampling is total sampling 100 people. Variable in this research there are two, namely dependent variable and independent variable. This research data in the form of objective test result in the form of multiple choice for vocabulary test and student eriting skill text writing skill obtained through performance tes. The collected data is analyzed according to the indicator by using normality test and linearity test. Hypotheses tested using product miment correlation formula between the mastery of Indonesian language with the skills of writing negotiation text and test the significance of correlation used. The result of data analysis shows that the average ability of vocabulary mastery is higher than the negotiating text writing skill. The use of product moment correlation formula yields a magnitude of 0,43 whereas the use of t test rumus produces r arithmetic 2,817. The hypothesis reads “there is a significant relationship between vocabulary mastery with the skill of writing the negotiation text of the students of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi”, “accepted”. Thus is said because t count is greater than t table (2,817>2,030). Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the mastery of Indonesian vocabulary with the skills to write the text of the negotiation of class X student IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi

Abstract

Now a days, the competition between companies is getting tighter with the increasingly competitive competition between business actors. In the course of the company is often faced with various problems in maintaining its survival, such as difficulties in increasing sales, increasingly varied consumer tastes, and uncertain economic conditions. Sales become a very important thing for the company, because the value of the profits or losses derived from sales activities become the source that shapes the overall value of the company and determine whether the company can grow and maintain its business activities. This study aims to find out how the cost of promotion and distribution costs affect the sales of food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2016. The population in this study is a food and beverage sector manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sample selection technique used is purposive sampling and obtained 9 companies with research period in 2012-2016. Data analysis method in this research is panel data regression analysis using software Eviews version 9. The result of t-test shows that promotion cost have a significant positive effect, and distribution cost has a positive significant effect. The result of F test shows that simultaneously promotion cost and distribution cost influence to sales with adjusted R2 equal to 97,7736%.
