Abstract

Research entitled "The Concept of Christian Students at Muhammadiyah University of North Maluku". becomes an interesting sight if the campus becomes an option for Christian students. The purpose of this study is To find out how Christian students to form their own concept at the University of Muhammadiyah North Maluku. The type of research used in this study is the type of descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe precisely the properties of an individual, circumstances, symptoms or specific groups to be studied, in this case is the self-concept of Christian students at the University of Muhammadiyah North Maluku. The theory used in this research is self concept. The results show that, Christian students while in the middle of the majority environment of Islamic students form their own concept with their respective judgments and in accordance with the environment in which they are located. They have a positive self-concept. They are not choosing friends, they are friends with everyone without discriminating their religion, ethnicity, culture, physical and status. Initially they were not too close to feel awkward and afraid if not accepted by Islamic students. However, over time they feel happy and familiar with Islamic students.

Abstract

Abstract Kailan (Brassica oleraceae var Acephala) is one of vegetable commodity which is quite popular and sought after by Indonesian society because it has high enough nutrient content. One important factor that can affect the growth and yield of a plant is the availability of nutrients. Nutrient nutrients can be increased in soil availability with growth-promoting bacteria and plant health. Therefore, Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) is given to the soil to increase the availability of nutrients. There has been no recommendation regarding the right dosage of PGPR for Kailan plants. This research aims to determine the effect of PGPR on growth and yield of Kailan plants and to know the exact dosage of PGPR. The design was Randomized Block Design (RAK), consisting of 4 treatments and 6 replications, namely: P0 (without PGPR), P1 (100 ml PGPR / plant), P2 (150 ml PGPR / plant), P3 (200 ml PGPR /plant). The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight, and root length of the plant. The results showed that PGPR had a very significant effect on the growth and yield of kailan plants, where 200 ml of PGPR treatment gave growth and yield of the highest kailan plants and without PGPR gave the lowest yield.

Abstract

The problem-based learning model is one of the learning approaches used to stimulate high-level thinking of students in real-world-oriented situations, including how to learn. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether the application of problem-based learning model can improve student activity on learning mathematics? Is the application of problem-based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in learning mathematics? How is the effectiveness of teacher management skills in learning mathematics with problem-based learning model? This study aims to determine the effectiveness of problem-based learning model of learning outcomes, student activities and the ability of teachers in managing learning. This research belongs to qualitative and quantitative descriptive research. Based on the results of student learning outcomes as much as 68% meet the KKM, the percentage is classified as high category. Student activity, its effectiveness belong to active category. The ability of teachers in managing learning using problem-based learning model on the subject of algebraic operations in RPP I obtained an average of 3.43 while in RPP II of 3.62 in general, including the active category.

Abstract

Abstract This study intends to explore and analyze how the implementation of the Poor Empowerment Program through Direct Social Empowerment in Gubukusuma Village, North Tidore Subdistrict Tidore Kepulauan City as one of the strategic business to increase the family's economic income in the survival, the method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, while the main instrument in the field data collection conducted through in-depth interviews, participatory observation and to obtain additional data traced also written reports from the Head of Kelurahan Gubukusuma, Joint Business Group I Kelurahan gubukusuma and Social Service Work and Transmigration of Tidore Islands The islands are concerned with the research focus. Based on the findings of the field show that: First, the existence of obstacles in the implementation of the program such as information delays by the village, the information is less accurate so that there are differences of interpretation from various target groups and socialization of programs that are less intense and maximized on the program development system. Second, the target group/KUBE I acknowledge that they have a lack of experience and information about agriculture that requires competent companions, but the government (Head of Social Affairs) says that they experience a shortage of personnel resources and monitoring funds making it difficult to provide targeted assistance to the target group. In conclusion, Implementation of Poor Empowerment Program through KUBE of Kelurahan Gubukusuma Sub-district of North Tidore has not got significant result either from quantity or quality of service, either from program development and supervisor / social assistance side.

Abstract

This research was conducted to obtain the influence of the independent variable motivation with the student learning achievement as dependent variable by taking 70 sample in the population of Institut Sains dan Teknologi Al Kamal Jakarta which consisted of 70 people who had given its input through the questionnaire provided researchers and measured by likert scale use correlation and regression to hypothesis .The result analysis of the data and test hypotheses are ( 1 ) the value a sig . With 2-tailed ( 0.253 ) as much as to the level of a very strength mean so much smaller than the level of significant(α) 1 % and value of r2 or coefficient of determination as much as 0.640 , so it can be concluded that h1 accepted which means hypothesis advanced by tested that the impact of which is between the motivation with the student learning achievemet. The conclusion of this research is motivation,having significant influence with student learning achievement from Institut Sains and teknologi Al Kamal Jakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of marketing communications through TV Commerce and radio advertising in influencing the decision to purchase products in OLX. Marketing communications undertaken at OLX are expected for sellers to increase their sales, but for consumers it is rational to benefit from the offer of the product. In this study used 100 samples of consumers who have made purchases of products in OLX located in Bandung. Sampling is random (simple random sampling) through the spreading of questionnaires and interviews. The research variables consist of independent variable that is marketing communication through TV Commerce (X1) and radio advertisement (X2), while the dependent variable is Purchase Decision (Y). Discussion of this research by using descriptive analysis with path (Path Analysis), where the first tested data such as: test the normality, validity and reliability. The results showed that marketing communications in delivering messages and information through TV Commerce and radio advertisements conducted OLX provide positive consumer perceptions for purchasing decisions. But TV commerce has a greater impact than radio advertising. This is because the television media is an ideal medium to advertise mass consumption products and wide range power, and creative visualization is able to get the attraction yntuk buy products from the advertisement. Therefore, the products that exist in OLX will be more known to the public.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to test Independence, Competence, Expectation Auditor, Auditor's Accuracy to Audit Quality simultaneously and partially.The sample in this research is Inspectorate of Tanjungpinang City, Inspectorate of Regency of Bintan, And Inspectorate of Batam City. The type of data used is the primary data which is obtained data collected by the researchers in a direct way from the source. Data were collected by using questionnaires distributed directly to respondents. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression model. To test the hypothesis simultaneously and partially used F Test and Test T. The result of hypothesis test and test show that simultaneously variable of Independence, Competence, Expectation Auditor, Auditor's Dignity has Influence on Audit Quality. Partially Independence, Expectation Auditor, and Auditor's Accuracy does not have an effect on Audit Quality, while Competence Affects Quality of Audit.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and to identify a causative verb which is found on the novel of Indiana Jones and The lost treasure of Sheba. The writer uses descriptive qualitative method as guide to accomplish this research. The writer also does some steps, they are: collecting data, reading the novel to look for the causative been used, analyzing the datas and making conclussion. The datas are collected from references books, websites, and some articles. In this research, the writer would like to to analyze and explain how the use of causative verb in this novel such as let, help, get, make, and help. Furthermore, the result is the causative verb has been found as much 30 times whereas divided into 6 times for word of get, 2 times for the word of have, once for the word of make, 2 times for the word of help, and 19 times for the word of let.

Abstract

The process of delivering information in SMAN 3 Sukoharjo is still using the manual system. With a system like this, certainly it will slow down the process of delivering information. Delivery errors occur when information is often still being done by manual systems. In order to speed up the delivery of information and reducing information delivery errors, it requires a web-based information systems academic. With internet media intermediaries’ course, information process will be faster. Academic information systems development methods, the authors used in designing a good system is to use the waterfall method. For a proposed database design Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and Logical Record Structure (LRS). Data was collected through observation, interviews, and literature. Implementation of the program using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 with a MySQL database by using phpMyAdmin. With the system he designed a web-based academic information in SMAN 3 Sukoharjo expected process of delivering information to more effectively and efficiently, so that the school community, especially students and teachers can find the information anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the effects of grammar mastery towards student’s reading comprehension.Grammar has an important role in mastering a language, and comprehending reading is also one of the ways to improve language learning. Therefore, it is necessary to know whether both variables have significantly effect to each other. Research methodology used is descriptive quantitative study. Sample are taken 80 students, and the sample taken with random technique. Data was collected through multiple choice test to the samples. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics. The research result shows that grammar mastery has a significant effect or influence towards the improvement of student’s reading comprehension. In other words the students who guided better grammar mastery are better to comprehend reading. Learning a language can hardly be defined from its grammatical. The language is mastered when the students can use it correctly and comunicatively either in oral or written. Thus, in learning English, the students must engage well to its grammatical. The results contribute most to the increasing of student’s reading comprehension.
