Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah Menganalisa pengaruh elemen-elemen dasar proses Frais menggunakan pahat HSS terhadap kekasaran permukaan material baja karbon tinggi serta Menganalisa proses Frais setelah perlakuan panas material baja karbon Baja karbon tinggi menggunakan pahat HSS. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa proses pemotongan baja karbon tinggi setelah perlakuan panas terhadap kekasaran permukaan menggunakan pahat HSS dengan menghitung Elemen-elemen dasar pada proses frais (milling). Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, yang digunakan untuk mencari pengaruh kekasaran permukaan dari proses pemotongan baja karbon tinggi, dengan mengukur dan mencatat data-data berdasarkan tabel pengambilan data. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini adalah Pada perhitungan proses pemotongan terjadi perbedaan pada kecepatan potong dan gerak makan pergigi (fz) sedangkan kesamaan terjadi pada waktu pemotongan (tc) dan kecepatan penghasil geram, dimana kekasaran permukaan untuk perlakuan panas adalah 0,3965 (μm) dan tanpa perlakuan panas 1,616 (μm). Pada proses perlakuan panas ini baja menjadi lebih lunak sehingga mata pahat mengalami tingkat kehilangan berat yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan material baja karbon tinggi tanpa perlakuan panas, sedangkan kekasaran permukaan dengan perlakuan panas adalah 0,3965 (μm) dan tanpa perlakuan panas kekasaran permukaannya adalah 1,616 (μm) sehingga dapat dipastikan bahwa Kekasaran permukan dengan perlakuan panas untuk material baja karbon tinggi dengan menggunakan pahat HSS mempunyai kekasaran permukaan yang lebih baik dari pada tanpa perlakuan panas.

Abstract

The consumption patterns of society have shown an annual increase, one example being found in purchasing and usage of skincare products. Skincare products have seen a rise in popularity not only among women but also among millennial men, particularly in the Jabodetabek region. This phenomenon can be attributed to the offerings from manufacturers, both international and local brands, which have experienced significant growth. One of the factors influencing consumer perception is the information presented through media channels regarding the functions and composition of products, the country of origin label (local or imported), product certification labels such as BPOM, Halal, and environmentally friendly labels (animal cruelty-free, vegan, organic, natural, non-toxic, eco-friendly, and fair trade). This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, involving interviews with 12 millennial men residing in the Jabodetabek area. The findings reveal that millennial men do not give too much consideration to product labeling on skincare items. The majority of respondents tend to choose products based on their specific needs and often to buy for bundled product packages.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penilitian yang dilakukan adalah menganalisa keselamatan lalu lintas di jalan Prambanan-Priyungan Yogjakarta, menentukan daerah rawan kecelakaan (black spot), kelengkapan fasilitas pendukung, mengidentifikasi tingkat kecelakaan, memberikan solusi dalam menurunkan tingkat kecelakaan, menentukan factor-faktor tingkat terjadinya kecelakaan. Metode penelitian adalah ekperimen lapangan, sedangkan analisis data secara umum dibagi atas beberapa bagian berdasarkan jenis data yang digunakan dalam perhitungan dan kajian data. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data sekunder yaitu : Polsek Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Resort Sleman Sektor Prambanan , data yang diambil berupa data tentang laka lantas selama 3 tahun. Data tersebut berisi jumlah kejadian kecelakaan, waktu kejadian kecelakaan, lokasi kejadian, jenis kecelakaan dan kerugian materil. Hasil penelitian ini adalah, untuk menurunkan tingkat kecelakaan lalu lintas di km 1-2 sebagai black spot harus dilakukan adalah : a. memberikan rambu peringatan rawan kecelakaa, b. pemasangan rambu batas kecepatan c. mengecat ulang marka jalan, d. pembuatan jalur sepeda dari bagian badan jalan dan bahu jalan dengan diberi marka pembatas atau pemisah berupa garis kuning putus-putus, e. pemasangan paku jalan pada sepanjang area black spot. Paku jalan ini ketebalannya maksimal 20 mm di atas permukaan jalan, dilengkapi pemantul cahaya berwarna merah, berbentuk bujur sangkar dengan panjang sisi 15 cm, f. penambahan rambu peringatan berbahaya seperti traffic signal (lampu kuning berkedip) pada awal akan memasuki area black spot sesuai dengan arah lalu lintas.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the ignition quality of briquettes made from sago waste and coconut shells and determine the heat transfer rate in the combustion process of briquettes using damar resin as a binder through conduction and convection. The research method employed laboratory experiments, utilizing two testing models: honeycomb briquettes with 14 holes made from sago waste, coconut shells with damar resin as a binder, and a similar honeycomb briquette model using tapioca flour as a comparative adhesive. The tools used included an infrared thermometer, a moisture meter for measuring water content, an anemometer for measuring air velocity, a stopwatch, a scale, and a briquette stove. The research findings indicate that honeycomb briquettes with 14 holes made from sago waste and coconut shells with damar resin as a binder exhibit faster combustion with a content level of approximately 10-12%. The conduction heat transfer in these briquettes is approximately 26,376 watts/m2, while the convective heat transfer reaches 40,801 watts. In comparison, the testing with tapioca flour as a binder shows a conduction value of 42,206 watts/m2 and convection of 43,208 watts. From these research results, briquettes made from sago waste and coconut shells with damar resin as a binder can be an effective alternative to replace kerosene fuel. The high combustion speed and efficient heat transfer make these briquettes attractive for alternative energy use

Abstract

Penelitian ini akan menambahkan pengarah (gate) pada control aliran dengan harapan akan lebih mengarahkan aliran ke sudu masuk Tingkat kedua. Metode penelitian yang akan kami terapkan adalah eksperimen di laboratorium. Kontrol aliran yang di gunakan terdiri dari tiga komponen utama: kedap air, pengarah (gate) untuk menghindari tumpang tindih aliran antara sudu-sudu turbin tingkat pertama dan tingkat kedua, serta penghalang yang mencegah akses air ke bagian tengah dari proses resirkulasi. Dalam eksperimen ini, kami membandingkan dua model desain: kontrol aliran konvensional dan kontrol aliran dengan penambahan pengarah. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa dengan penambahan pengarah (gate) pada sistem kontrol aliran, turbin menghasilkan daya sebesar 143,477 Watt, sementara sistem kontrol aliran tanpa pengarah menghasilkan daya sebesar 135,1037 Watt. Hal ini mengindikasikan peningkatan daya sebesar 8,37 Watt atau sekitar 5% ketika menggunakan kontrol aliran dengan pengarah dibandingkan dengan kontrol aliran tanpa pengarah (gate). Selain itu, penambahan pengarah (gate) pada sistem kontrol aliran juga berhasil mengeliminasi resirkulasi dan potensi kerusakan pada poros di tengah roda jalan (runner turbine). Dengan demikian, penambahan pengarah pada kontrol aliran memberikan dampak positif pada kinerja turbin cross flow dengan meningkatkan daya yang dihasilkan sambil mengurangi resirkulasi dan potensi kerusakan pada komponen turbin. Banki turbine; fluid flow control; hydro system; renewable energy sources Abstract This study extends previous research on flow control conducted by Popescu and colleagues using ANSYS simulations. The research we will be conducting involves adding gates to the flow control and analyzing the extent of their impact on the performance of a cross-flow turbine. The research method employed will be laboratory experiments. The flow control consists of three main components: a water seal, a gate for redirecting flow to eliminate overlap between the blades of the first and second-stage turbine, and a barrier preventing water access to the center of the recirculation process. In this experiment, we will compare two design models: conventional flow control and flow control with the addition of gates. The experimental results indicate that with the addition of gates to the flow control system, the turbine generates a power output of 135.1037 Watts. In contrast, the flow control system without gates produces 143.477 Watts. This signifies an increase in power output of 8.37 Watts or approximately 5% when using flow control with gates compared to flow control without gates. Furthermore, the addition of gates to the flow control system also eliminates recirculation and the potential for damage to the central shaft of the runner turbine. Abstract

This qualitative study focuses on the translatability of phrasal verbs by exploring the problem of their untranslatability into Indonesian, strategies for overcoming this issue and achieving meaning equivalence between the source and the target texts. The issue of untranslatability of phrasal verbs can arise due to the lack of equivalents with the same meaning as the source text, target language equivalents that are too formal and not commonly used in informal conversations, the absence of specific equivalents for the phrasal verbs, target language equivalents that are too lengthy and may result in inefficient sentences, and the phrasal verb’s meaning being too specific for its equivalents to be used in all contexts. This problem of untranslatability can be addressed by implementing strategies such as paraphrasing, offering additional information to complete the target text meaning, and applying modulation. Equivalence between the two texts is attained by using equivalents that can function in the same situation as the source text, providing equivalents in the form of explanations or additional information, using equivalents that explain the meaning from a different perspective. Additionally, equivalents have to be determined based on context in which the phrasal verbs are used, and the selection of equivalents should not be limited to the verb category only. Although there are no phrasal verbs in Indonesian, they can still be translated because the transfer is of the meaning rather than the language form. When both texts are equivalent, it suggests that the translator has a strong grasp of the source and target languages and has made appropriate adjustments to convey the intended meaning. This study aims to enhance the field of translation studies, specifically in regards to the translatability of phrasal verbs.

Abstract

Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang, Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman (PUPR & PKP) Kota Jayapura mempunyai salah satu bidang, yaitu Bidang Rencana Umum Tata Ruang Kota yang mempunyai tugas dalam mengolah data Izin Mendirikan Bangunan (IMB), dikarenakan masyarakat cenderung memlilih lahan untuk membangun rumah tanpa memperhatikan kondisi fisik lahan, infrastruktur, sosial ekonomi, dan arahan Rencana Umum Tata Ruang Kota. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah memanfaatkan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) pada Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) Berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Metode SAW digunakan untuk memberikan kemudahan untuk proses keputusan dalam penentuan lokasi pembangunan rumah yang layak dan strategis di Kota Jayapura. Kriteria yang digunakan dalam penentuan lokasi pembangunan rumah adalah kemiringan lereng, ketersediaan air bersih, kerawanan banjir, aksesbilitas jalan, jarak terhadap pusat perdagangan, fasilitas umum, kepadatan penduduk dan harga tanah. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode SAW dapat memberi Keputusan dalam menentukan lokasi pembangunan rumah. Berdasarkan hasi perhitungan dengan menggunakan 5 lokasi, sebagai alternatif, maka penentuan lokasi pembangunan rumah yang sesuai dengan kriteria adalah lokasi Padang Bulan dan Yoka dengan nilai SAW yang sama yaitu 102.55. selain itu, Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis ini dapat memberikan informasi berupa peta lokasi pembangunan rumah berdasarkan perhitungan SAW dan juga menampilkan daerah rawan bencana yang tidak boleh dibangun rumah dan kawasan yang dapat dijadikan lokasi pembangunan rumah di setiap Distrik. Layer yang ditampilkan adalah layer rute/jalan, layer rawan bencana, dan layer fasilitas umum, yang nantinya dapat membantu masyarakat dalam memilih lahan untuk membangun rumah.

Abstract

The construction project of the Governor's Office in Papua used reinforced concrete with high-quality concrete strength, approximately 30 MPa or equivalent to K350 concrete. During the compressive strength testing, the concrete met the established standards. However, several structural elements exhibited damage during field observations, such as spalling, leakage, minor deterioration, and small cracks. A mixed-method research approach was employed to identify the causes of these issues. Questionnaires and interviews were utilized as quantitative methods with the assistance of SPSS software. A qualitative method using the Likert scale was also employed to analyze the risk level. The data analysis from the questionnaires and interviews revealed that the compaction work during the concrete casting process was not executed optimally, resulting in a level 3 risk (moderate risk, around 40%-60%). This risk could have significant implications for the project's quality if not addressed appropriately.

Abstract

Public service is an activity aimed at meeting the community's needs by applicable regulations for citizens and residents. This includes the provision of goods, services, and administration by government agencies. Fair and accountable public services are essential to build public trust, with public service ethics as its primary foundation. This research focuses on the reality and expectations related to public services in Abepura District, Jayapura City. The research approach used is quantitative. The results of the study indicate that, overall, the level of satisfaction with public services provided by officials in Abepura District is quite adequate. However, there still needs to be a gap in the community's perception of these services. Although perceived as quite good, they must still fully meet the community's expectations. Thus, this research highlights the need to improve the provision of more holistic and practical public services, which would better and more comprehensively meet the community's expectations and needs in the future.

Abstract

Village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) are entities established to enhance the village economy, increase local revenue, and optimize the management of village resources in line with community needs, thereby becoming the backbone of rural growth and economic equity. Their role is pivotal in promoting village autonomy and community welfare. BUMDes serves as an instrument for strengthening village autonomy and promoting community welfare. Its presence is crucial in empowering village governments and harnessing local potential within the village's capacity and authority. The policies formulated by BUMDes Kampung Holtekamp play a strategic role in village development planning. One of the policies crafted pertains to development planning within Kampung Holtekamp. This qualitative descriptive research employs data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and literature reviews. Information sources include stakeholders and members of the Kampung Holtekamp community.
