Abstract

The peer tutoring method aims to provide students with greater freedom and opportunities to interact freely and reduce their perceived inadequacy towards their teachers. This is especially true in terms of reading and writing the Quran well and correctly. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach , also known as literature study, with data analysis using content analysis. The peer tutoring method is deemed essential to improve students' ability to read and write the Quran well and correctly and foster students' enthusiasm for studying the Quran. The implementation of the peer tutoring method must go through stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. In implementing the peer tutoring method, there are three series of activities that must be followed: initial activities, core activities, and final or closing activities. By implementing this peer tutoring method, students become enthusiastic and motivated to continue developing their ability to read and write the Quran well and correctly.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in elementary schools often faces problems such as low student participation due to traditional teaching methods that make it difficult to access abstract materials. This study aims to develop an innovative learning medium in the form of a website-based application called "PAK RT" created using the Canva platform at SDN Pakuwon 2. Employing Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, this study involved 23 fourth-grade students in a limited trial. Data were collected through observation and student perception questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods. The findings indicated high levels of user acceptance and satisfaction: 91.3% of students felt more motivated to participate in learning activities, and 95.7% acknowledged that the combination of text and video greatly helped them understand the material on the history of Prophet Muhammad's preaching. However, because this study did not employ pretests, posttests, control groups, or objective learning outcome measurements, the medium is categorized as feasible and promising for enhancing student interest and participation, but not empirically proven to improve learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ cognitive learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) through the use of the Educandy interactive game. This study was motivated by low student learning outcomes caused by the dominance of conventional teaching methods that are unengaging and not fully aligned with student characteristics in the digital age. The research method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles, encompassing the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 10th-grade students at SMK Al-Hidayah Cirebon during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection techniques included cognitive tests, observation of student activities, interviews, and documentation. The research results indicate that the implementation of the Educandy interactive media significantly improved students’ cognitive learning outcomes. This improvement is evidenced by an increase in the class average score from 58.4 (pre-cycle) to 71.6 (Cycle I), and finally to 81.4 in Cycle II. In line with this, the percentage of mastery in traditional learning increased from 34.3% to 51.4% in Cycle I, and reached 80.0% in Cycle II, successfully exceeding the predetermined success indicator (≥ 75). This increase was driven by the media familiarity effect, increased engagement in group learning, and a healthy competitive environment introduced by the leaderboard feature.

Abstract

School image is an important factor in increasing public trust in educational institutions. However, some schools still experience obstacles in building a positive image due to suboptimal public relations management, such as limited public communication, low community involvement, and less than optimal use of information media. This study aims to analyze public relations management strategies in improving school image at Nurul Falah Vocational School in Bondowoso Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation involving the principal, public relations team, teachers, education staff, parents, and the surrounding community as research informants. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that public relations management strategies at Nurul Falah Vocational School are carried out through systematic public relations program planning, collaborative public communication implementation, and continuous evaluation of school services. The school also utilizes digital media and direct communication in building harmonious relationships with the community. These strategies have a positive impact on increasing public trust, parent participation, and strengthening the school's image as an open, professional, and quality educational institution.

Abstract

This study examines the management of digital media through photography and videography as a strategy to improve literacy at MI Raudlatul Hasaniah. The study aims to explore how digital media, particularly visual media, are integrated into the curriculum, how roles are distributed within the school for their implementation, and how the effectiveness of this integration is evaluated. A qualitative case study approach was used, involving in-depth interviews with school administrators, teachers, and students, as well as participatory observation and document analysis. The findings indicate that MI Raudlatul Hasaniah successfully integrated visual media into the curriculum through a structured process that clearly divided roles among staff, including teachers, IT staff, and media coordinators. The implementation of visual media, particularly photos and videos, in the classroom has increased student engagement and their understanding of abstract concepts in subjects such as mathematics, science, and civic education. The effectiveness of these media was evaluated through continuous student and teacher feedback and periodic assessments. The results demonstrate a positive impact on students’ understanding and engagement in lessons, indicating that the integration of digital media contributes positively to student engagement and literacy development.

Abstract

This study discusses the use of social media in grounding the recitation of the Qur'an in mujawwad recitation: a study of Islamic education in the digital era. The development of social media has provided a new space for the community to learn, preach, and spread Islamic values. Qur'an recitation that was previously more widely studied in mosques, Islamic boarding schools, and taklim assemblies is now also developing through digital platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. This study aims to analyze the role of social media in grounding mujawwad recitation and examine its implications for Islamic education. This research uses a library research method by collecting data from books, journals, scientific articles, and other relevant references. Data collection techniques are carried out through editing, organizing, and finding, while data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study show that social media plays a strategic role as a means of digital da'wah, a medium for learning the Qur'an, and strengthening people's Qur'anic literacy. Mujawwad recitations spread through social media are able to increase the interest of the public, especially the younger generation, to listen, learn, and love the Qur'an. From the perspective of Islamic education, the use of social media reflects the dimensions of ta'lim, tarbiyah, and ta'dib. However, social media cannot replace the role of teachers in learning mujawwad recitation which requires direct guidance. Therefore, social media can be an effective instrument of Islamic education and da'wah of the Qur'an if used wisely, educationally, and while maintaining the glory of the Qur'an.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning evaluation from the perspective of improving learning quality in Grade IV at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Huda Sri Mulyo. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with research participants consisting of the Grade IV Islamic Religious Education teacher, Grade IV students, and the madrasah principal. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The trustworthiness of the data was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, member checking, and peer debriefing. The findings revealed that the planning of learning evaluation had been carried out systematically through the preparation of lesson plans, semester programs, annual programs, and test blueprints. However, the evaluation planning was still predominantly focused on the cognitive domain, while affective and psychomotor assessments had not been optimally designed. The implementation of evaluation covered cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects through daily tests, assignments, attitude observations, and worship practices. Several challenges were identified, including limited time, subjectivity in attitude assessment, and inconsistencies in the implementation of practical evaluations. The results also indicated that most students had achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC), with 27% categorized as excellent, 40% as good, 20% as fair, and 13% as poor.
