Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh teknik token ekonomi terhadap kemandirian anak usia lima dan enam tahun di TK Wahyu Kabupaten Gowa. Strategi kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Experiment Design digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini melibatkan tiga puluh dua siswa TK Wahyu di Kabupaten Gowa, yang berusia lima hingga enam tahun. Purposive sampling adalah metode pengambilan sampel penelitian ini, sehingga menghasilkan total 24 sampel, 12 setiap kelompok terdiri dari dua belas anak. Analisis non parametrik dan juga analisis statistik deskriptif digunakan sebagai metode yang untuk memperoleh data. Hasil kemandirian anak kelompok eksperimen diperoleh nilai Z sebesar -3,068 dan sig(2-tailed) nilainya sebesar 0,002 < 0,05 hasil output uji Wilcoxon. Diperolah bahwa kemandirian anak berbeda-beda sebelum dan sesudah mendapat perlakuan berdasarkan temuan penelitian. Diketahui penggunaan teknik token ekonomi di TK Wahyu Kabupaten Gowa berpengaruh terhadap kemandirian anak usia lima sampai enam tahun.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a skill that must be formed from an early age, where children will process and then create a structured series of thoughts from information that they can understand. The most influential indicator of critical thinking skills is the parenting pattern applied by parents, where children are shaped by parents through the policies they choose and the culture they implement from an early age. This research aims to explain the role of parenting patterns in the development of children's critical thinking skills. The method used in this research is the literature study method (library). This research shows that democratic parenting is a parenting pattern that is capable and appropriate in helping to develop critical thinking skills optimally. This is because parents create a free and enjoyable atmosphere for children, not being restrained or too liberated, children are accustomed to having opinions and taking part in solving problems, where and this will indirectly shape children's independence, discipline and responsibility. This indicator plays the most role in forming children's critical thinking skills.

Abstract

By utilizing the surrounding environment as a learning resource students can easily master science concepts because students make observations in concrete situations. The positive impact of the environmental approach is that students can be motivated by their curiosity about something in their environment. Students will feel more challenged because students are dealing directly with real objects. Learning outcomes are very important because they become a benchmark for the extent to which the teaching and learning process takes place optimally. This study aims to determine the application of the application of natural science learning in the open air class of SD IT Insan Kamil, Bima City. This research is a type of field research, using qualitative research methods. 4. The average value of students in the skill aspect is higher than the knowledge aspect, with a skill value of 79 and knowledge of 81. This is because in the skills aspect, during Covid-19 learning students can easily learn science material at home. By collecting assignments based on students' skills, they directly learn natural science in the open.

Abstract

Madrasah is a very good and strategic place to create a quality generation under the expectations of education and learning goals/, but to support this, the important role of all components and various elements is needed to work together to improve the quality of learning and Education, one of which is implementing the school literacy movement as a force to strive for change and development of competence for each student, both in terms of improving the quality of reading, understanding, knowing, broadening insight, strengthening intellect and intelligence, and enriching various scientific information. All these competencies are contained in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This is in accordance with what is being implemented by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sambina'e Kota Bima in implementing the school literacy movement with several models including: getting students used to reading 15 minutes before starting lessons, grouping students to collaborate and exchanging stories from the reading results, giving assignments to read, provide motivation, discipline, provide new books, and create a civilizing ecosystem. In addition to what has been implemented by madrasas, interconnectivity of various elements is really needed, starting with the involvement of all school members, parents/guardians of students, and the community.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain data on the extent to which the increase in student interest in learning after the use of comica application-based learning media in students. The type of research used in this research is the Design & Development (D&D) method with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at the STIT Sunan Giri Bima Campus. The subjects in this study were third semester PGMI study program students in the 2023/2024 academic year. Techniques in collecting data in this study are direct observation and questionnaires. Observing the object of research during learning takes place to find out the student's response after using comic learning media while giving questionnaires is done to find out student interest after using comic learning media. Then filling out the questionnaire is done after students have completed lectures for one semester with 4 face-to-face sessions using comic learning media. The data analysis technique used in this study is to use narrative analysis to directly examine the problems contained in the data as well as to find out to obtain data on the extent to which the increase in student interest in learning after the use of comica application-based learning media in students during the lecture process. Based on the results of observations in this study, it was found that comica application-based learning media in MI / SD science learning courses can increase interest in learning and based on the results of filling out questionnaires, it shows that the response is very high around 90% of students who agree to use comic media.

Abstract

The Quran memorization program is an extracurricular activity that is often considered a flagship program in primary schools because it is believed to provide numerous benefits to students. Several studies have demonstrated that a student's ability to memorize the Quran has a significant correlation with their academic performance. Based on field observations, some students excel in Quran memorization but do not have an advantage in other academic fields. The research objective is to investigate whether there is still a relationship between the level of Quran memorization and students' academic performance. The research method used in this study is quantitative research. The statistics used are nonparametric statistics using the Kendall Tau correlation technique. The research results indicate that: 1) The average memorization of the Qur'an by students is 44 surahs or approximately 1.5 juz. 2) The average academic performance of students is 88. 3) There is a positive correlation of 0.18 between the amount of Qur'an memorization and students' academic performance. The correlation coefficient of 0.18 can be interpreted as a very weak relationship between the variables.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a science teaching module based on Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create for fourth graders of SDN Gambut 3. This research was conducted at SDN Gambut 3. The topic developed is the Form of Substance and Its Changes. The research method used is the Design and Development research method. The research model used is Planning, Production and/or Evaluation. Data collection techniques use Observation, interviews, and expert validation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively, obtained through Observation and interviews and quantitatively, obtained from the expert validation questionnaire. The validation result is to find out the feasibility of the Teaching Module. The results from the Teaching Module Expert were 96.02% with the category Very Feasible for Use from the Media Expert 87.05% with the category Very Feasible for Use and from the Learning Expert 91.87% with the category Very Feasible for Use. The accumulated results by the three experts were 91.6% with the category Very Feasible for Use. So, it can be concluded that the development of the Science teaching module based on Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create for fourth graders of SDN Gambut 3 is feasible to use.

Abstract

This study examines the revitalization of elementary education based on Islamic values to shape intelligent and virtuous generations. Elementary education plays a fundamental role in building the foundation of knowledge, skills, and values that will influence individuals' lives in the future. In this context, the integration of educational sciences and Islamic values emerges as a potential approach to create a holistic educational system that combines intellectual intelligence with the development of noble character. This research employs a literature review method by analyzing various studies related to the application of Islamic values in elementary education. The findings indicate that such integration can strengthen students' spiritual character, enhance curriculum relevance, and prepare a generation ready to face global challenges without losing their moral identity. Islamic values such as tauhid (monotheism), tawadhu’ (humility), and social justice are implemented in the educational process to cultivate individuals who excel not only academically but also possess social commitment and personal integrity. The study also identifies challenges in implementing this integration, such as cultural resistance and resource limitations, which require collaboration among stakeholders. This research recommends the inclusive application of a curriculum based on Islamic values to ensure relevant and sustainable education in shaping a future generation that excels both intellectually and morally.

Abstract

This study evaluates the quality management of the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGMI) program at STIT Sunan Giri Bima using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was employed. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that: 1) The context aspect shows alignment between the institution's vision and mission with modern needs through technology-based curricula and advanced facilities; 2) The input aspect includes qualified lecturers with master's degrees and dual expertise, supported by facilities such as smart classrooms and laboratories; 3) The process aspect demonstrates innovative technology-based learning and active interaction between lecturers and students, including the use of digital media; 4) The product aspect indicates graduates possess both academic and practical competencies relevant to workforce demands, with many alumni contributing to primary education in society. This evaluation highlights the importance of continuous development, including enhancing lecturer competencies and aligning curricula with global demands. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for improving education quality at STIT Sunan Giri Bima and similar institutions, producing high-quality educators capable of competing at national and international levels.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the concept of Cognitive Load Theory developed by John Sweller and its implications for Arabic language learning at the elementary education level. Using a literature review approach and descriptive-analytical techniques, this study provides an in-depth analysis of relevant literature. The findings reveal that Cognitive Load Theory highlights the limitations of working memory in processing information, which includes intrinsic, extrinsic, and germane cognitive loads. In Arabic language learning, this theory guides educators to reduce intrinsic cognitive load through simplifying teaching materials and introducing concepts gradually. Additionally, extrinsic cognitive load can be minimized by improving the quality of media, teaching materials, and relevant interactive teaching strategies. Meanwhile, germane cognitive load can be optimized through learning activities that reinforce students' cognitive schemas, such as contextual practice, visualization, and consistent repetition. Implementing this theory makes learning more effective and efficient, helping students gradually overcome the complexities of the Arabic language. Consequently, students' learning motivation is maintained, and the learning process becomes more meaningful. These findings are relevant for developing learning strategies oriented toward the cognitive needs of students at the elementary education level.
