Abstract

The transformation of mathematics learning in elementary schools faces challenges in enhancing students' numeracy skills, particularly in presenting abstract concepts in a concrete and engaging manner. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Kalibataku, an Augmented Reality (AR)-based application, in improving numeracy skills and learning motivation of students at SDN 7 Kumbe in Kota Bima. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest on two groups: an experimental group using Kalibataku and a control group using conventional teaching methods. The study participants consisted of 30 third-grade students who were randomly divided into these two groups. Data was collected through numeracy tests, learning motivation questionnaires, and observation sheets. The results indicate that the group using Kalibataku experienced a significant increase in numeracy skills and learning motivation compared to the control group (p<0.05). Observations also showed that students were more active and enthusiastic during the learning process. These findings suggest that the use of AR technology in mathematics learning can help students better understand numeracy concepts and increase their interest in learning. Thus, Kalibataku can serve as an innovative alternative to support mathematics education in elementary schools. However, adequate device support and teacher training are needed to optimize the implementation of this technology. ABSTRAK Transformasi pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa, terutama dalam menyajikan konsep-konsep abstrak secara konkret dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas Kalibataku, sebuah aplikasi berbasis Augmented Reality (AR), dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi dan motivasi belajar siswa SDN 7 Kumbe Kota Bima. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest pada dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan Kalibataku dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas 3 SD yang dibagi secara acak ke dalam dua kelompok tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes numerasi, kuesioner motivasi belajar, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok yang menggunakan Kalibataku mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan numerasi dan motivasi belajar dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (p<0,05p < 0,05p<0,05). Observasi juga menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih aktif dan antusias selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan teknologi AR dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep numerasi dengan lebih baik dan meningkatkan minat belajar mereka. Dengan demikian, Kalibataku dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif untuk mendukung pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Namun, perlu adanya dukungan perangkat yang memadai dan pelatihan guru untuk mengoptimalkan implementasi teknologi ini.

Abstract

The implementation of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in Grade 4 at SDN 25 Kota Bima aims to integrate social and emotional skills into the academic learning process. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach to explore SEL teaching strategies and their impact on students' development. The findings indicate that integrating SEL strategies, such as the CASEL approach and collaborative activities, positively contributes to students' ability to manage emotions, build relationships, and make responsible decisions. Additionally, SEL implementation has improved students' academic performance by up to 15% and enhanced their psychological well-being. The program's success is supported by strong school leadership commitment, teacher training, parental involvement, and continuous evaluation. However, challenges such as variations in student readiness and integrating SEL into the academic curriculum require further attention. By strengthening strategies and collaboration, SEL is expected to continue providing optimal benefits for students' holistic development. ABSTRAK Penerapan pembelajaran sosial emosional (SEL) di kelas 4 SDN 25 Kota Bima bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan keterampilan sosial dan emosional ke dalam proses pembelajaran akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengeksplorasi strategi pengajaran SEL dan dampaknya terhadap perkembangan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi strategi SEL, seperti pendekatan CASEL dan aktivitas kolaboratif, berkontribusi positif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam mengelola emosi, menjalin relasi, serta membuat keputusan yang bertanggung jawab. Selain itu, implementasi SEL juga meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa hingga 15% dan memperkuat kesejahteraan psikologis mereka. Keberhasilan program ini didukung oleh komitmen kepemimpinan sekolah, pelatihan guru, keterlibatan orang tua, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Namun, tantangan seperti variasi kesiapan siswa dan integrasi SEL dalam kurikulum akademik masih memerlukan perhatian lebih lanjut. Dengan penguatan strategi dan kolaborasi, SEL diharapkan dapat terus memberikan manfaat optimal bagi perkembangan holistik siswa.

Abstract

Teachers have a significant influence on changes in student behavior. Writing, reading, listening and speaking skills are important abilities that every student needs to have. Based on the results of observations at SDN 05 Metro Timur, there are still a number of students in high classes who have not mastered reading skills well, such as being unable to differentiate between the letters a and i and g and s, and still reading by spelling and not being able to read fluently. The aim of this research is to identify various strategies implemented by teachers in overcoming elementary school students' reading difficulties. The method applied in this research is descriptive qualitative, with data collection carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that 1) the impact of reading difficulties can affect students' learning activities in class, and students who are not yet able to read will definitely be left behind when receiving and processing new knowledge. 2) The strategies implemented by the teacher include dictating and writing on the blackboard, using phonics reading methods, holding discussions, and providing motivation so that students continue to learn to read. ABSTRAK Guru memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perubahan perilaku siswa. Keterampilan menulis, membaca, mendengarkan, dan berbicara adalah kemampuan penting yang perlu dimiliki oleh setiap peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di SDN 05 Metro Timur, masih terdapat sejumlah siswa di kelas tinggi yang belum menguasai kemampuan membaca dengan baik., seperti ketidakmampuan membedakan huruf a dan i serta g dan s, serta masih membaca dengan cara mengeja dan belum mampu membaca dengan lancar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai strategi yang diterapkan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca siswa sekolah dasar.. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) dampak dari kesulitan membaca dapat memengaruhi aktivitas belajar siswa di kelas, dan siswa yang belum mampu membaca pasti akan tertinggal saat menerima dan memproses pengetahuan baru. 2) Strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru meliputi mendikte dan menuliskan di papan tulis, menggunakan metode membaca fonik, mengadakan diskusi, serta memberikan motivasi agar siswa terus belajar membaca.

Abstract

Quality education is a global challenge, especially for Generation Alpha, which faces difficulties in social and cognitive skills due to a lack of direct interaction. To address this problem, this study proposes modeling learning methods based on Vygotsky’s theory that emphasizes structured social interaction and the use of technology as learning aids. This method involves an in-depth analysis of more than 20 relevant Scopus-indexed journals, with a qualitative approach that emphasizes document analysis techniques and thematic analysis to identify emerging themes and patterns. The novelty value of this research lies in the application of Vygotsky’s theory in the context of modern education, which has not been explored much, as well as the emphasis on collaboration and group discussion as an effective learning method. The results show that the application of Vygotsky’s principles, such as social interaction and emotional experience, can improve the social and cognitive skills of Generation Alpha, as well as support better academic achievement. As such, this research makes a significant contribution to educational literature and offers practical recommendations for educators and policymakers to create more effective and meaningful learning environments.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students reading comprehension skills through the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) model in fourth grade students at SD Negeri 8 Metro Barat. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) type which is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of three meetings. Each cycle has four stages of activity, namely, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 25 fourth grade students of SD Negeri 8 Metro Barat, consisting of 10 male students and 15 female students. Data collection methods used include test sheets, observations and interviews. Data analysis techniques include quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of the study showed that student learning outcomes in reading comprehension skills in the Indonesian language subject in cycle I were 40% and in cycle II there was an increase of 44% to 84%. From the results of observations in the learning process, there are factors that support the improvement of reading comprehension skills through the application of the CIRC model, namely student involvement in group work, student courage in expressing opinions, active in asking questions, and focus in learning. By using the CIRC model, students can be trained and encouraged to understand a reading text correctly and appropriately, so that it can improve students reading comprehension skills. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa melalui model Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) pada siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 8 Metro Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Setiap siklus memiliki empat tahapan kegitan yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 8 Metro Barat, terdiri dari 10 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan mencakup lembar tes, observasi dan wawancara. Adapun teknik analisis data meliputi analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada kemampuan membaca pemahaman mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada siklus I adalah 40% dan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebesar 44% menjadi 84%. Dari hasil pengamatan pada proses pembelajaran terdapat faktor-faktor yang mendukung peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman melalui penerapan model CIRC adalah keterlibatan siswa dalam kerja kelompok, keberanian siswa dalam mengemukakan pendapat, aktif dalam bertanya dan fokus dalam pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan model CIRC ini dapat melatih dan mendorong siswa dalam memahami suatu teks bacaan dengan tepat dan sesuai, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemapuan membaca pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Social Science (IPS) learning based on local wisdom in instilling Bima cultural values from an early age in elementary school students. Social Science learning based on local wisdom is expected to help students understand and appreciate the culture and traditions of the Bima community. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques that include discussion, observation, simulation, and interviews with local communities to explore cultural values such as mutual cooperation, honesty, and social responsibility embedded in Bima culture, such as agriculture, trade, economy, and traditional Bima crafts. The data analysis technique involves data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Social Science learning based on local wisdom can enhance students' understanding of applying Bima cultural values. It also strengthens their awareness of the importance of preserving regional culture. Furthermore, students show improvements in attitudes and behaviors that reflect Bima cultural values, such as honesty, discipline, mutual cooperation, responsibility embodying the meaning of the Bima cultural principle "Maja Labo Dahu" and environmental awareness. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial berbasis kearifan lokal dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai budaya Bima sejak dini pada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Pembelajaran IPS yang berbasis pada kearifan lokal diharapkan dapat membantu siswa memahami dan menghargai budaya serta tradisi masyarakat Bima. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data dengan penerapan metode diskusi, observasi, simulasi, dan wawancara dengan masyarakat setempat untuk menggali nilai-nilai budaya seperti gotong royong, kejujuran, dan tanggung jawab sosial yang terkandung dalam budaya Bima, seperti pertanian, perdagangan, ekonomi, dan teknik analisis data dengan cara mengumpulkan data, reduksi data, display data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran IPS berbasis kearifan lokal dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam menerapkan nila-nilai budaya Bima. Serta dapat memperkuat pemahaman mereka tentang pentingnya melestarikan budaya daerah. Selain itu, siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan dalam sikap dan perilaku yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai budaya Bima, seperti kejujuran, disiplin, gotongroyong, tanggungjawab sebagai makna implementasi nilai budaya Bima “Maja Labo Dahu” dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan.

Abstract

Penanaman pendidikan karakter yang baik sejak dini merupakan fondasi awal untuk menciptakan karakter yang baik kepada anak. Karakter adalah nilai-nilai yang melekat pada seorang individu yang mana nilai-nilai tersebut diimplementasikan pada nilai-nilai kebaikan yang tercermin baik tingkah laku maupun tindakan. Karakter dapat dibentuk sejak dini pada lingkungan keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat sekitar. Salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk menciptakan generasi peserta didik yang memiliki karakter yang baik adalah dengan bimbingan konserling. Peran bimbingan konserling dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik sangatlah penting. Bentuk-bentuk pembinaan karakter yang ditanamkan adalah keteladanan, disiplin, jujur, bertanggung jawab, dan mengajarkan sopan santun. Peneliti tertarik mengkaji peran bimbingan konserling dalam pembentukan karakter siswa di SD Nasima karena peneliti ingin menggali upaya dan program apa saja yang diterapkan pihak sekolah supaya peserta didik di SD Nasima memiliki karakter yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the Manajemen Qolbu (MQ) concept in shaping a religious learning environment at SD Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. MQ is a spiritual-based educational approach that emphasizes the management of the heart (qalbu) as the center of moral, ethical, and spiritual awareness. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that MQ is systematically integrated into daily school activities, including morning and evening dzikr, collective prayers, spiritual mentoring, and the modeling of good character by teachers. The unique Daarut Tauhiid curriculum, based on seven core pillars tauhid, manners (adab), exemplary behavior, independence, spiritual habits, integration of religious and secular knowledge, and social care supports the creation of a harmonious, inclusive, and spiritually rich learning atmosphere. MQ contributes significantly to improving student discipline, empathy, self-awareness, emotional regulation, and intrinsic motivation. Despite facing challenges such as limited time and varying levels of understanding among educators and students, the structured implementation of MQ proves to be an effective character education strategy. This research highlights MQ as a holistic and contextual solution for integrating spiritual values into formal education and offers a replicable model for other primary schools seeking to nurture students with strong religious and moral foundations. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan konsep Manajemen Qolbu (MQ) dalam membentuk lingkungan belajar yang religius di SD Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. MQ merupakan pendekatan spiritual yang berfokus pada pengelolaan hati (qalbu) sebagai pusat kesadaran moral dan akhlak. Melalui Metode kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MQ terintegrasi dalam berbagai aspek pembelajaran dan budaya sekolah, seperti pembiasaan dzikir, doa harian, mentoring ruhiyah, serta keteladanan guru. Kurikulum khas Daarut Tauhiid yang berbasis pada tujuh pilar utama tauhid, adab, keteladanan, kemandirian, dzikir, integrasi ilmu, dan kepedulian sosial mendukung terwujudnya lingkungan belajar yang spiritual, harmonis, dan kondusif. Penerapan MQ terbukti meningkatkan kedisiplinan, empati, ketenangan batin, dan motivasi belajar siswa. Namun, implementasi MQ juga menghadapi tantangan, seperti keterbatasan waktu dan resistensi awal dari sebagian guru atau siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pembinaan guru yang berkelanjutan dan integrasi formal MQ dalam kebijakan sekolah untuk keberlanjutan program. MQ terbukti menjadi strategi efektif dalam pembentukan karakter religius dan lingkungan belajar yang rahmatan lil 'alamin.

Abstract

This study aims to explore English teachers' self-efficacy in integrating technology in the classroom as well as the application of the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) framework. The study also sought the relationship between teachers' self-efficacy and TPACK application when using technology in teaching. The research subjects consisted of 50 English teachers, with three teachers selected for classroom observations and retrospective interviews. Results showed that the majority of teachers had high self-efficacy in using technology such as PowerPoint, videos, and online platforms. However, some still lacked confidence in providing digital feedback. TPACK implementation varied; two teachers optimally applied it by integrating content, pedagogy and technology for interactive learning, while one teacher was passive. There is a positive relationship between teacher self-efficacy and successful TPACK implementation. Teachers with high self-efficacy were more proactive in designing innovative learning. These findings provide important implications for teacher training and education policy. Increasing self-efficacy through technology training can improve the quality of technology-based learning. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efikasi diri guru Bahasa Inggris dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi di kelas serta penerapan kerangka TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). Penelitian ini juga mencari hubungan antara efikasi diri guru dan penerapan TPACK saat menggunakan teknologi dalam pengajaran. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 50 guru Bahasa Inggris, dengan tiga guru dipilih untuk observasi kelas dan wawancara retrospektif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas guru memiliki efikasi diri tinggi dalam menggunakan teknologi seperti PowerPoint, video, dan platform online. Namun, beberapa masih kurang percaya diri dalam memberikan umpan balik digital. Penerapan TPACK bervariasi; dua guru menerapkannya secara optimal dengan memadukan konten, pedagogi, dan teknologi untuk pembelajaran interaktif, sedangkan satu guru masih bersifat pasif. Terdapat hubungan positif antara efikasi diri guru dan keberhasilan penerapan TPACK. Guru dengan keyakinan tinggi lebih proaktif dalam merancang pembelajaran inovatif. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pelatihan guru dan kebijakan pendidikan. Peningkatan efikasi diri melalui pelatihan teknologi dapat meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

The PBL learning model in science lessons is a solution to improve critical thinking skills, learning motivation, and improve student learning outcomes in the current era. This study aims to provide in-depth information about the research of the PBL model in science learning in elementary schools, especially on the research method, focus of the study, and the theme of the study. The method used is SLR (systematic literature review). Data collection was carried out by documentation and reviewing articles about the PBL learning model in science lessons in the period 2020-2025. The data were collected from 40 articles in Google Scholar and Sinta. The results of the study show that the Based Learning learning model uses various methods, namely qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, and research and development. The most popular method is qualitative while the least popular method is research and development. This study examines the focus of problems grouped into three, namely the impact on learning outcomes, student motivation, and student critical thinking. The results of this study indicate that most research studies on the PBL model focus on the impact on student learning outcomes, while the fewest studies discuss the impact of the PBL model on student motivation.
