Abstract

Abstract                This research aims to produce a student worksheet social studies guided inquiry-based in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Jember. The research method used is research and development (R&D). This research adopted a 4-D development model with three stages namely; define, design, and development. The sample of this research is class VIII-A and class VIII-B. The research subjects consisted of four experts namely; material experts, design experts, linguists, and social studies teachers. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the validation from the expert team are; 1) material experts with a percentage score of 80%; 2) design experts with a percentage score of 82.67%; 3) linguists with a percentage score of 85.3%; 4) Social studies teacher with a percentage score of 82%. Limited test results obtained by students' responses with a percentage of 91%. The results of the field test obtained student responses with a percentage of 83.16%. Based on the validity criteria and student response criteria the effectiveness of the student worksheet social studies guided inquiry-based is valid and suitable to use without revision. The cognitive learning outcomes of 28 students of class VIII-A have completely reached the KKM value, with a percentage of 87.5%. Whereas 4 students of class VIII-A failed to achieve the KKM value, with a percentage of 12.5%. The cognitive learning outcomes of five VIII-B students completely reached the KKM value, with a percentage of 83.3%. While one VIII-B student failed to achieve the KKM value, with a percentage of 16.7%. Based on the classical completeness criteria class VIII A and B have completely reached the KKM value. So, it can be concluded that student worksheet social studies guided inquiry-based is suitable and effectively for used social studies learning at SMP Negeri 1 Jember. Abstrak Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menghasilkan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) ilmu pengetahuan sosial berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian ini mengadopsi model pengembangan 4-D dengan tiga tahapan yaitu; define, design, dan development. Sampel dari penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII A dan kelas VIII B. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari empat ahli, yakni ahli materi, ahli desain, ahli bahasa, dan guru IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil validasi dari tim ahli yaitu; 1) ahli materi dengan prosentase skor 80%; 2) ahli desain dengan prosentase skor 82.67%; 3) ahli bahasa dengan prosentase skor 85,3%; 4) guru IPS dengan prosentase skor 82%. Hasil uji terbatas diperoleh respon siswa dengan prosentase 91%. Hasil uji lapangan diperoleh respon siswa dengan prosentase 83,16%. Berdasarkan kriteria kevalidan dan kriteria respon siswa keefektifan LKS IPS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan tanpa revisi. Hasil belajar kognitif 28 siswa kelas VIII A tuntas mencapai nilai KKM, dengan prosentase 87,5 %. Sedangkan 4 siswa kelas VIII A gagal mencapai nilai KKM, dengan prosentase 12,5%. Hasil belajar kognitif 5 siswa kelas VIII B tuntas mencapai nilai KKM, dengan prosentase 83,3%. Sedangkan 1 siswa kelas VIII B gagal mencapai nilai KKM, dengan prosentase 16,7%. Berdasarkan kriteria ketuntasan klasikal kelas VIII A dan B telah tuntas mencapai nilai KKM. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS IPS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing layak dan efektif digunakan untuk pembelajaran IPS SMP Negeri 1 Jember.   Kata Kunci: Lembar Kerja Siswa, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, dan Inkuiri Terbimbing

Abstract

Abstract Madurese is one of the tribe that has high mobility. In its history, the Madurese has migrated to other areas since the days of the kingdom. One of the target area is the city of Yogyakarta, which is a multicultural, tourism and culinary city. This study aims to find out how the Madurese did migration to Yogyakarta, their early history to Yogyakarta and the types of informal work there. This research is an ethnographic study that was conducted for one year, data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that the history of the migration of the Madurese to Yogyakarta dates back to the 17th century, namely the reign of the Sultan Agung in the Islamic Mataram kingdom. There are three factors of migration of Madurese to Yogyakarta, namely historical and political factors, economics and education. Meanwhile, the work done by Madurese in Yogyakarta is mostly in the informal sector, one of which is selling satay. That work has been passed down from generation to generation since the Dutch era. In addition, the branding of Madura satay as a delicious traditional food and the success stories of other satay sellers are also reasons for their choice to become Madurese satay sellers. Abstrak Orang Madura termasuk salah satu suku yang memiliki mobilitas tinggi. Dalam sejarahnya, suku Madura sudah migrasi ke daerah lain sejak zaman kerajaan dulu. Daerah yang dituju salah satunya adalah kota Yogyakarta yang merupakan kota multikultural, wisata dan kuliner. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang migrasi orang Madura ke Yogyakarta, bagaimana sejarah awal mereka ke Yogyarta dan jenis pekerjaan informal yang mereka lakukan disana. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian etnograsi yang dilakukan selama satu tahun, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sejarah migrasi orang Madura ke Yogyakarta sudah sejak abad 17, yaitu pemerintahan sultan Agung  di kerajaan Mataram Islam. Ada tiga factor migrasi orang Madura ke Yogyakarta yaitu factor sejarah dan politik, ekonomi dan Pendidikan. Sedangkan pekerjaan yang dilakukan oleh orang Madura di Yogyakarta lebih banyak di sector informal, salah satunya  berjualan sate. Perkerjaan yang sudah menjadi turun temurun bahkan sudah ada sejak zaman Belanda. Selain itu, branding sate Madura sebagai makanan tradisional yang enak dan cerita kesuksesan penjual sate lainnya juga menjadi alasan pilihan mereka menjadi penjual sate Madura.     Kata Kunci: migrasi, orang madura, penjual sate madura

Abstract

Abstract Education is a conscious effort made by individuals with the aim of improving their quality as a form of adaptation of self-thinking to the times (Law No. 20 of 2003 article 1 paragraph 1). There are several levels of formal education in Indonesia, including Pre-School Education, Elementary School Education, Secondary Education, and Higher Education. The aim of education in general is to improve the welfare of individuals who carry out education itself. In addition, it is an investment in human capital which will provide more benefits to the country. Meanwhile, according to the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003 article 3, the purpose of holding education is to "Educate the life of the nation and develop Indonesian people as a whole, namely people who have faith and devotion to God Almighty and have noble character, have knowledge and skills, physical and spiritual health, a solid personality. and be responsible for the community and nationality ”. This study was compiled using a research method with a descriptive quantitative approach using the help of the SPSS version 25 test application. Where it was carried out for approximately two months in six sub-districts in different Jember districts. The data sample taken was 18 data. The education received by individuals should reflect how their life is which is seen from the income they receive for their work. However, in fact there is no difference in the level of education they receive. This means that indirectly the level of a person's education does not determine how high the level of income they earn. Because, there are other factors outside of education that affect the income of an individual in the family.   Abstrak Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar yang dilakukan oleh individu dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dirinya sebagai bentuk adaptasi pemikiran diri terhadap perkembangan jaman (UU no. 20 tahun 2003 pasal 1 ayat 1). Terdapat beberapa tingkat pendidikan formal di Indonesia, antara lain Pendidikan Pra Sekolah, Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar, Pendidikan Menengah, dan Perguruan Tinggi. Tujuan pendidikan secara umum yaitu untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dari individu yang melaksanakan pendidikan itu sendiri. Selain itu, sebagai investasi modal manusia yang nantinya akan memberi keuntungan lebih kepada negara. Sedangkan menurut Undang Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional No. 20 Tahun 2003 pasal 3, tujuan diadakannya pendidikan adalah untuk “Mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dan mengembangkan manusia Indonesia seutuhnya, yaitu manusia yang beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berbudi pekerti luhur, memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilan, kesehatan jasmani dan rohani, kepribadian yang mantap dan bertanggung jawab kemasyarakatan dan kebangsaan”. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif menggunakan bantuan aplikasi uji SPSS versi 25. Dimana dilaksanakan kurang lebih selama dua bulan di enam kecamatan di Kab. Jember yang berbeda. Sampel data yang diambil adalah sebanyak 18 data. Pendidikan yang dimiliki oleh individu seharusnya mencerminkan bagaimana kehidupan mereka yang mana dilihat dari pendapatan yang mereka terima atas pekerjaannya. Akan tetapi, nyatanya tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat pendidikan terhadap pendapatan yang mereka terima. Artinya bahwa secara tidak langsung tinggi rendahnya tingkat pendidikan seseorang tidak menentukan seberapa tinggi tingkat pendapatan yang mereka peroleh. Sebab, terdapat faktor-faktor lain di luar pendidikan yang mempengaruhi pendapatan suatu individu dalam keluarga.  Kata kunci: pendapatan, pendapatan keluarga, tingkat pendidikan

Abstract

Abstract   This research aims to describe the meron tradition in mount kendeng community at Pati Regency and to address the socio-religious values reflected in the  meron tradition. The research used qualitative approach, and the data collection techniques were done through interviews, observation and documentation. The data were analysed through interactive models and validated through triangulation technique. The findings of the study show that  the tradition of meron  in javanese perspective is considered a form of public gratitude to the God Almighty, for the abundance of sustenance that has been given. On the other hand, the tradition of  meron is carried out to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Meron become  the embodiment of Javanese and Islamic cultural acculturation.  In the  tradition of meron,  there are ritual, prayer and magical activities performed accompanied by gamelan, terbangan and other traditional arts. Social values reflected in the meron tradition are compassion, living together, togetherness/solidarity, and responsibility. Religious values reflected in the meron tradition include the value of worship, love for the Prophet Muhammad, gratitude, the value of trust, and exemplary.     Abstrak   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tradisi meron masyarakat gunung Kendeng di Kabupaten Pati dan menyibak nilai-nilai sosial-religius yang tercermin dalam tradisi meron tersebut. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi partisipan dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif dan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi meron dalam perspektif jawa dianggap sebagai wujud syukur masyarakat kepada yang Maha Kuasa atas limpahan rezeki yang telah diberikan. Disisi lain tradisi meron dilakukan untuk memperingati kelahiran Nabi Muhammad SAW. Meron menjadi perwujudan akulturasi budaya Jawa dan Islam.  Dalam  tradisi meron ada kegiatan ritual, doa selametan dan magis yang dilakukan dengan diiringi gamelan, terbangan dan kesenian tradisional lainnya. Nilai sosial yang tercermin dalam tradisi meron yaitu kasih sayang, hidup rukun, kebersamaan/solidaritas, dan tanggung jawab. Nilai religius dalam tradisi meron meliputi nilai ibadah, kecintaaan pada Nabi Muhammad SAW, syukur, nilai amanah, dan keteladanan.   Kata Kunci: nilai sosial, nilai religius dan tradisi meron

Abstract

The study is done to see how Pancasila Education and Civic Education subject strategies as a college education compulsory in character building sublime Pancasila students based on personality. Background research is related to problems that occur in the country: anarchism, radikalisme, terrorism, and other. These problems can undermine the unity of the Republic of Indonesia. The research is in University and the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto Tidar Nusa Cendana. But this research is qualitative descriptive method which is through observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of data over (trianggulasi) sources and methods. Data and analysis is by reduction, presentation of data, and the withdrawal of the conclusions. The result showed that Pancasila Education and Civic Education as subject to common (MKWU) at the University and the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto Tidar Nusa Cendana. The Subject has the role so important in the development of personality students in accordance with nilai-nilai Pancasila. It is seen in cognitive learning: achievement, psychomotor, affective. In reaching cognitive, students are taught some material relating to the reality in civil with Pancasila values. The objective is to students having knowledge based on good Pancasila. The psychomotor focused on learning skills students by using the method as a form of learning based on the kids. An affective seen in character students so far in accordance with Pancasila values.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations that have been carried out, this study aims to determine the impact of the development of economic growth in the Kertosari village community with the development of educational tours in the Pakusari TPA area. With this Pakusari TPA Educational tour, it is hoped that it will be able to help the economy of the Kertosari village community. This study used a qualitative research method, namely the research method, in which the authors attempted to describe and explain the optimization of educational tourism at TPA Pakusari to improve the economic development of the Kertosari village community. The use of the type of data used for this research is the collection of primary data in the form of data collected related to activities or activities at the Pakusari final disposal site (TPA), as well as interview data with related parties who are directly involved in the educational tourism of the final disposal site (TPA) ) Pakusari with the use of data analysis methods used in the form of descriptive analysis by ensuring which analysis pattern will be used, in this study researchers used non-statistical analysis related to the optimization of Pakusari TPA educational tourism for economic development in Kertosari Village. The results showed that the optimization of educational tourism at TPA Pakusari to improve the economic development of the Kertosari village community had a major impact on the economic growth of the community. It can be seen from government programs such as methane gas. This government program regarding methane gas has been widely felt by the community. With the existence of this TPA educational tour, it is also able to increase the opinion of the Kertosari village community.

Abstract

Literacy learning is an activity, a program implemented by schools to train students to have extensive reading, insight, and information about many things. This is doing by students in other to have critical thinking about what they have read. On the other hand literacy learning is done not only by reading, but also by writing. Reading and writing become a unity in the implementation of literacy learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of reading literacy learning in SMP Negeri 1 Jember and describe the implementation of cultural and citizenship literacy learning at SMP Negeri 1 Jember. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. The location of this research is in SMP Negeri 1 Jember. Determination of informants using purposive techniques. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses the interactive model of Miles, Huberman and Saldana. The validity of the data uses technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study indicate the implementation of reading literacy learning is carried out with several activities, namely learning to read silent reading literacy, reading literacy 4 books every 1 semester, learning literacy reading with a mandatory library visit day system, learning literacy reading outside the classroom, and making reading corners and implementing learning cultural and citizenship literacy is carried out with several activities, namely the implementation of literacy presentations, class mading competitions, literacy competitions to write poems on the Heroes' Day and Youth Pledge, cultural literacy exhibitions, and book fairs.

Abstract

Instilling social awareness is an important thing to be instilled in students to foster feelings and behavior of caring for others. Instilling social awareness through scout extracurricular activities at MTsN 2 Bondowoso has an important role in developing positive attitudes, leadership characters and caring for others. This research is a qualitative research and the type of research is descriptive. Data collection techniques using non-participant observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The validity of using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study are: 1). inculcating student social awareness; (a) through habituation such as greeting each other, say hello, pay infaq, do charity work and pray for a sick friend; (b) training activities such as, work together and help each other in pioneering, setting up a tent and simulating First Aid In Accident; (c) work programs such as: social services, sowing flowers, raising funds for victims of natural disasters and distributing 1000 zakat; 2) supporting factors for inculcating student social awareness, that is: (a) the existence of scout coaches who can guide and teach about manners to students with mutual respect and help each other; (b) the presence of a teacher, who provides direction and motivation to students; (c) the role of parents who give permission to their children in participating in scouting activities and participating in material matters

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) To describe the development of integrated social studies teaching materials for environmental education in the basic concepts of social studies in the IPS Tadris Study Program of IAIN Jember (2) to describe the feasibility of developing integrated social studies teaching materials for environmental education in the concept course Basic IPS in Social Studies Tadris Study Program IAIN Jember. This type of research is a research and development (R&D) model modified from the Borg & Gall (2003) model. The results showed that the teaching materials had the feasibility of material experts, design experts and linguists which meant that the teaching materials were valid or suitable for use. The Development of Integrated Social Studies Teaching Materials for Environmental Education in the Basic Concepts of Social Studies in the Social Studies Tadris Study Program at IAIN Jember consists of 6 subjects / chapters. While the test results of the effectiveness of teaching materials by looking at student learning outcomes, show that the average student learning outcomes are able to obtain the minimum average value limit of the completeness of the value of knowledge in learning.

Abstract

As a matter of fact, social lesson must be done as fun as possible through an activity which are full of fun, spirit, enthusiastic and value that create better student development. Therefore, those need a suitable learning model for students. The purpose of this research is to know how the implementation of learning modelbased project toward social lesson in MTsN 1 Jember. The approach of this research is using field research. The data collections are using interview, observation and documentation. The analysis technic used from Miles’ and Huberman’s data’s includes data condensation, data presentation, conclusion, and verification. The result found from this research is that the implementation of learning model based project in the 9th class of MTsN 1 Jember is able to enhance students’ spirit and enthusiastic in learning social lesson. It is proven by students’ social lesson better score which is above average with score ranges are 85-95.
