Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the economic potential and preparation of the grand strategy of investing in the city of Semarang. Analytical methods used were AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). The Data was obtained by conducting in-depth interviews on stakeholders, and then conducted focus group discussions (FGD). Besides using AHP and SWOT analysis as well as the FGDs also conducted a study visit to the city of Surabaya. The study recommends that the city of Semarang needs to be developed center of trade and means of promotion.

Abstract

Accounting for intangibles assets became a subject of accounting debate in many countries. This research intend to study the influence of intangibles assets, including their amortization expenses, to firm value. The results shown that goodwill has no effect on firm value, on contrary others intangibles assets and amortization expenses have significant effetcs on firm value. This results indicated that others intangibles assets, like intelectual capital, have an important value in the future and became attention’s focus for investors.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the increasing number of business merchandise in major cities in Indonesia. The one is Kedai Digital 7 Semarang, a business unit engaged in different fields of creative production in particular areas of merchandise and graphic design. The data were collected through questionnaire method of 100 respondents of Kedai Digital 7 in Semarang, which was obtained by using non-probability sampling technique. Then, we analyzed the data obtained by using multiple regressionanalysis. This analysis included validity and reliability, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing by T-test and F-test, and analysis of determination coefficien (R2). Hypothesis trial by T-test showed that the three examined independent variables (product attributes variable, promotional mix, and service quality) were proven having positive and significant impact toward the dependent variables of purchasing decisions. Then, from F-test could be seen that the three independent variables were proper to exmine the dependent variables of purchasing decision. Adjusted R Square of 0.555 indicated that 55.5 % of the purchasing decision variables could be explained by the three independent variables in the regression equation. While the rest 44.5 % could be explained by other variables outside of the three variables used in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of cultural factors, social factors, personal factors, and psychological factors on consumer behavior in the purchase of liquid soap at Toko Sami Untung Pasar Mrican Semarang. The population in this research was all consumers who bought soap liquid in Toko Sami Untung Pasar Mrican Semarang by the number of samples used 100 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was convenience sampling and the analysis tool used wasmultiple linear regression. The results showed that based on a partial test of the hypothesis with the t test results obtained for X1 = 13.525; X2 = 4.394 and X3 = 2.397 and t table 1.985, so it lied in refused Ho, it means that there was a significant effect between cultural factors, social factors, factors personal, and psychological factors on consumer behavior in the purchase of liquid soap at Toko Sami Untung Pasar Mrican Semarang. The coefficient of determination of the four independent variables of 79.6% means that the variation of the four independent variables in explaining consumer behavior and 20.4% is explained by other variables that are not mentioned in this study, such as pricing, quality service and product quality.

Abstract

The study identified that with the model used, it can be used to view the local tax contribution and regional retribution against the original Revenue areas. Based on the results of statistical tests, then it can be inferred that the model used to measure the local tax levy and the original revenue is able to explain variations of the region. This can be seen, if there is a 1 percent increase in the tax levy and the original revenue can increase the area that each of 0,249 and 0.505 percent. On the other hand R (coefficient of determination) indicates the number of 3.139 percent identified that the magnitude ofthe influence of the variable X to variable Y of 81,7 percent and the rest of 12.3 per cent determined by other variables that are not identified in this model. Economic implications that could be drawn from the test results above, is a donation or contribution/share local tax levy and the area has a strategic position in Enhancing support of The original revenue (PAD). Thus an attempt to improve the reception of the original revenue areas continue to do with intensification of efforts and extensification. Intensification of efforts can be done through improving the quality of human resources, quality of service and improved surveillance of the taxpayer effective. While the exstenfication collection was done by logging the object and the subject of taxes, the excavation of new sources and the creation of regional regulations more in line with the development of the State.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the factors of auditor’s turnover intention at public accountant firms. This research aimed to determine the effect of these factors, there were leadership style, role conflict, role ambiguity, promotion opportunities, pay satisfaction, personal growth needs, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction to auditor’s turnover intention from public accountant firms. Population of the research was all of auditors who have been working at public accountant firms in Central Java and DIY. Whereas the samples were 127 respondents who have been working as auditors at public accountant firms, spread in Central Java and DIY, there are Semarang, Surakarta, Purwokerto, and Yogyakarta. The hypothesis test was done by regression analysis using multivariate techniques Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) from software AMOS 16.0. Based on the results of hypothesis test, then the conclusions are auditor’s turnover intention from public accountant firms heavily influenced by factors, such as leadership style, role conflict, role ambiguity, promotion opportunities, paysatisfaction, and personal growth needs, through intermediaries organizational commitment and job satisfaction.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the influence of individual factor, social factor and primary factor in work toward work satisfaction at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX Batujamus/Kerjoarum Karanganyar. The population in this research was entire employees counted as 1750 employees at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX Batujamus/Kerjoarum Karanganyar. The samples were 95 respondents. The technique sampling that was used in this research was purposive sampling. The analysis instrument used in this research was multiple linear regression. The research result showed that there was significant influence of individual factor, social and primary factor in work toward job satisfaction at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX Batujamus Karanganyar. The partial research result showed that individual factors influence the job satisfaction of employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX Batujamus Karanganyar. Social factors also influence the job satisfaction of employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX Batujamus Karanganyar and primary factor in work towards job satisfaction at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX Batujamus Karanganyar.

Abstract

The influence of service quality and price to customer satisfaction rates in DHL Headquarters, Jakarta. Since the advances in science led to the Industrial revolution in the field of communication and transportation technologies, the relations between communities in different parts of the world become more easily, more quickly and more accurately. The relationship is not only in the form of social relations and culturals, but also a relationship and exchange of goods and services commercially which causes the flow of goods and services between countries in different parts of the world. This condition is observed by a company of global courier service level because of the power of capital, human resources, communication technology, transportation technology, management systems and networks. One is where the DHL operates in partnership with their Indonesian business partner, PT. Birotika Semesta. In giving the services to the customers, DHL priority service quality based on the concept of Customer Relation Management (CRM), which basically creates consumer loyalty. However, since the area of their operations is in Indonesia, Price factors to be considered by the management of DHL, because it’s related with the purchase ability of Indonesian customer. From this research, it proved that the relationship between service quality and price to customer satisfaction was positive, significant and very strong.

Abstract

Corporate culture is dominat values which spread within a company and act as working philosophy to manage employee in order to increase employee productivity. Bank Mandiri has developed appropriate culture which in line with vision and mission. This serve is as the role model and guidance to make a desicion. Corporate culture covers trust, integrity, professionalism, customer focus and exellence. The purpose ofthis research was to know the influence of corporate culture to employee productivity at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk Cabang Ambon. This research was conducted at PT. Bank Mandiri with 98 respondents. The data was collected by questionnaire, interview and documentation. It used regression to analyze. The result showed that corporate culture, consist of trust, integrity, professionalism, customer focus and exellence had positive influence simultaneously to employee productivity. Partiality, trust, integrity, professionalism, customer focus and exellence had positive influence to employee productivity. Integrity was a dominant variable which had positive influence to employee productivity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of organizational culture on organizational commitment, the influence of employee empowerment on organizational commitment, the influence of organizational culture on employee performance, the effect of empowerment on employee performance and the influence of organizational commitment to employee performance. This studys population was employees. This study used survey methods, sampling and questionnaires as primary data collection tool. The sample used was simple random sampling. The samples used as many as 109 respondents with data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that there was significant influence of organizational culture and employee empowerment on organizational commitment whereas the level of the organizational culture variables, variable of employee empowerment and organizational commitment were less in affecting employee performance variables.
