Abstract

Nowadays, the problem of the vital functions of patients with infantile cerebral paralysisis in the combinationof various aspects of rehabilitation: rehabilitation and recreation, physical and psychological, social, emotional and educational. In a comprehensive rehabilitation system, more attention has been paid recentlyto new organizational forms, such as the game method. The aim of research: To develop a new rehabilitation system for children with infantile cerebral paralysis.Materials and Method: We examined 52 children aged 2 to 12 years with various forms of infantile cerebralparalysis. The control group, we were engaged in physical therapy in a game form along with mothers. Results: Children who played in a game way with their mothers improved movement in the limbs, improvedmood, enjoyed doing exercises and had a positive result more than the previous group.

Abstract

The results of assessing the psychophysiological state of modern teachers of Uzbekistan leading universitiesas the basis for the preventive measures development to maintain their health are presented. It is shown thatthe teachers’ cardiovascular system (CVS) functional state during the working day basically does not gobeyond physiological fluctuations, and the functional state of the central nervous system is characterizedby a decrease in the quality of the work performed. Revealed a high frequency of emotional burnout (EB)signs in teaching staff in comparison with the administrative and technical employees of universities;the average statistical indicators of the signs of the teaching staff of different universities do not havestatistically significant differences. The average level frequency of emotional exhaustion among the teachingstaff members is 52-60%, a high level of personal achievement reduction - 44-50%; the average level ofdepersonalization is 22-40%. For the EB signs frequency, the work experience at the university matters; atthe beginning of the academic year, emotional burnout indicators are less pronounced than at the end.

Abstract

We have operated on 42 patients ages 22 to62 suffering different forms of obesity and obesity-relatedmetabolic disorders. Body mass indexes have ranged from 28 to 62 kg/m2. All patients have had symptomsof metabolic disorders of different intensity. Our goal has been exerting maximal influence on carbohydratemetabolism processes rather than mere body weight reduction. The patients have undergone sleevegastrectomy, laparoscopic mini-gastric bypass, Roux en Y gastric bypass, as well as modified gastric bypasswith Rouxen Y gastrectomy with a 180-cm bypass and 70-cm alimentary loop as an independent way ofsurgical treatment of diabetes type 2 associated with obesity. Sleeve gastrectomy in terms of weight controlhas demonstrated a 73% efficacy, and gastric bypass –a 89% efficacy. The efficacy of surgeries in patientswith carbohydrate metabolism disorders through Roux en Y gastric bypass has totaled 96%,classic Roux en Ygastric bypass - 92%, sleeve gastrectomy – 60%. Roux en Y gastric bypass andmini-gastric bypass are moreeffective in the treatment of obesity and associated metabolic disorders compared to sleeve gastrectomy.Gastric bypass has proved effective even in diabetes patients with body mass indexes up to 30 kg/m2.

Abstract

At present, there are many drugs and method of anesthesia, each has its advantages and disadvantages. Theaim of anesthesia is not only to eliminate suffering and create psychological comfort, but also to improvethe quality of life, accelerate postoperative functional rehabilitation, reduce the incidence of complications. The problem of postoperative pain treatment is relevant both in our country and abroad. According toliterary sources, 30–75% of patients suffer from severe pain in the postoperative period. Today there is agreat number of research, recommendations and guidelines for postoperative anesthesia. (Volchkov V.A.,Kovalev S.V., Kubynin A.N. Modern aspects of postoperative anesthesia (literature review)//Bulletin of St.Petersburg University. Medicine. 2018. V. 13. Issue 3. p. 245-270).

Abstract

Vitiligo is a common disease with a characteristic depigmentation of the skin and not fully understoodpathogenesis. Epidermocytes obtained from donor sites of their own skin have been transplanted intodepigmented skin sites in 28 patients with 48 foci at the age of 19–35 years with disease duration from 4 to15 years; the duration of patient monitoring is 12 months. Dermabrasion of the focus has been performedby a dermabrider. Epidermal grafts for transplantation have been obtained by cutting off the covers of theblisters extracted at a negative pressure of 200-300 mm Hg. All patients have tolerated the collection of skinfragments and transplantation of epidermocytes well. After 10-12 PUVA sessions applied to 19 patients, complete repigmentation of 19 foci was observed; repigmentation in 75–80% of the area — in 15 foci;on 50% of the area - in 10 outbreaks, less than 50% - in 4 outbreaks. The greatest effect has been noted inpatients with localization of foci of depigmentation on the trunk and proximal limbs, and with skin phototypeIII. The achieved result was maintained throughout the observation period (12 months).

Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to determinelevels of expression ET-1 in serum and renal tissue associated withchanges in kidney structure.Method: The rats were divided into two groups. The Obese group was given a high-fat-induced diet chowand a standard diet chow for the control group. ET-1 protein expression and localization in the glomerulusof the kidney were examined. The serum of blood checked for ET-Iusing ELISA method and assessed theET-1 expression of the glomeruliby Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Mesangial expansion is an indicator toevaluate the degree of glomerular damage by Periodic Acid–Schiff(PAS staining). Associations between theimmunoreactivity for ET-1 in glomeruli and the degree of kidney injury were examined. Results: Lee Index was significantly higher in the obese group than in the control group (p<0.05). ET-1immunoreactivity was considerably higher in the obese group than the control rat. It was a strong correlationwith enhancingmesangial expansion glomeruli using PAS staining of the renal tissue (rs=0.765; p= 0.001).Contrast to ET-1 levels in the serum revealed no significant in obese rat groups (p>0.05).Conclusion: These data confirm the role of ET-1 will provide changes in the levels of glomeruli impairment, but serum levels may well fail to reflect the local expression at the tissue level.

Abstract

The antiallergic activity of “Phytoallergoderm” phytocollection was studied, which was recommended fortopical treatment of a topic dermatitis, on the model of allergic contact dermatitis, caused by skin applicationof turpentine. The following drugs were used as comparison: antihistamine “Psilo-Balsam” gel, manufacturer:OJSC “Nizhpharm” Russia; glucocorticoid (topical steroid) “Dermoveit” cream 0.05%, manufacturer:“Glaxo Smith Kline Pharmaceuticals SA” Poland; zinc product “Zinc” ointment, manufacturer: NPP“Radiks” Uzbekistan.During the experiment, it was found that the test drug has a reliable anti-allergic activity, which is clearlycaused of decrease in total allergic reactions, in the reduction of recovery time and in a decrease in thedynamics of the severity of allergic reactions. Also, the study of antiallergic activity showed that the testdrug has a comparable antiallergic activity with the etalon synthetic drug. The foregoing indicates the presence of a reliable anti-allergic activity of the phytocollection“Phytoallergoderm”, which is comparable to reference synthetic preparations.

Abstract

The practice of orthodontics has sometimes been described as involving two distinct but related processes, the physiological-mechanical and the psychological-educational. Proper application of appliances to thephysiological-mechanical is essential to successful treatment, but no amount of attention by the orthodontistto sophisticated techniques is likely to have much effect, if those efforts are met with resistance or indifferenceon the part of the patient. But how does one counter that indifference or overcome that resistance? How doesone even understand it? This is a most serious and baffling problem, because it is very difficult for those inthe health professions to distinguish which patients will be compliant and which will not, and to know whatto do about it.
