JCP (Jurnal Cakrawala Promkes (JCP) is an open-access journal that is peer-reviewed and multidisciplinary forum for the publication of those research that aimed at understanding of the implication and approaches to health promotion and public health. JCP includes research in the social determinants of health, health education, community empowerment, health communication, health sociology, social psychology, anthropology medicine, health promotion programs at various setting. The JCP covers a broad range of topics including socio determinant of health, social psychology, sociology, anthropology medicine, health co­m­munication, health education, health-related behaviour, community empowerment, community organization and community development, a social determinant of health. JCP welcomes papers on the theories and concepts, methodologies, policy formulation, organizational change, as well as social and environmental development, using quan­titative or qualitative methods. All of the papers published are freely available as downloadable pdf files.

Abstract

Stigma is a negative action that can reduce a person’s self-confidence. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the stigma can be in the form of refusal of bodies, expulsion of medical staff or ex-communication of patients with confirmed COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 patients. There are 2 Post-COVID-19 patients in Papringan Hamlet. This study aims to find out the influence of knowledge, attitudes, and role of community leaders on the stigma against Post-COVID-19 patients in Papringan Helmet Sidomukti Magetan Regency. This was a cross-sectional study. The population were the people who live in Papringan Hamlet, the sample amount was 97 respondents who used the Slovin formula. The sample criteria were aged 26-45 years, chosen by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaires and checklist observations. Data analysis used the logistic regression test. Results: The results of the bivariate analysis test showed that there was an influence a relationship between knowledge (Sig. 0,000), attitude (Sig. 0,000), and roles of community leaders (Sig. 0,000) on the stigma against post-COVID-19 patients and multivariate analysis using Binary logistic test indicated there is an influence of knowledge (OR=16,955) to stigma Post-COVID-19 patients in Papringan Hamlet Sidomukti Magetan Regency. The Health Service and community health centres can eliminate the stigma of Post-COVID-19 patients in the community by increasing public knowledge through health education, as well as encouraging the role of religious leaders and community leaders to influence public attitudes so as not to carry out negative stigma against Post-COVID patients.

Abstract

Poor nutritional behaviour among students is the increasing of snacking proportion and the consumption unnutritious and unsafe food. The aims of the study was to know the determinants of school children's snack behavior using behavioural ecological model. This was a cross-sectional study design based on ecological models behaviour. The study was conducted at a state junior high school in Sleman Regency, D.I Yogyakarta. The sample was 80 students of 381 students. The data were analyzed by the chi-square test. The result showed that only 52.5% students had selected behaviour in snacking, 50% students had a good level of knowledge about nutrition and food security, 68.8% had a large amount of pocket money, 83.8% had breakfast habit, 70% were highly influenced by peers. There were significant relations between knowledge about nutrition and food security and breakfast habits. There were no significant relations between the amount of pocket money, peers with students' behaviour to the selection of snacks in the State Junior High School in Sleman, Special Region Yogyakarta. It is recommended for schools to strengthen their school health institutions through increasing the role of student cadres and counseling about nutrition and food safety in the provision of healthy canteens. Include content about nutrition and the consequences of consuming unsafe food, placing posters on healthy and unhealthy food in the school canteen. Schools are also advised to provide socialization to parents and students about the importance of having breakfast and bringing lunch from home.

Abstract

Noncommunicable diseases and chronic diseases, such as stroke, hypertension and diabetes mellitus has widely founded in Yogyakarta. In order to, the government has developed a health promotion strategy is the healthy Indonesia through a family program approach or Program Indonesia Sehat dengan Pendekatan Keluarga (PIS-PK). The study aimed to analysis determinant factors of public health problems, to obtain of the health situation and public health service in Ponegaran Hamlet, Banguntapan, Bantul. Descriptive research used to interview instruments as 149 respondents. The analysis method used to determine the priority of health problems is Urgency, Seriousness, Growth(USG). Base on three indicators of PIS-PK which were the main problems were the number of family members who smoker (53%), hypertension who did not take regular medication (71%) and health insurance (34%).

Abstract

Labor often prompts unpleasant, fearful, or, further, traumaticexperiences due to the pain it entails. Scientific evidence suggests thatpain during labor can be managed using two methods; pharmacologicaland non-pharmacological. Pharmacology is a method of using drugs,whereas non-pharmacologic is without the administration of drugs. The nonpharmacologicalmethod is known as complementary and alternativetherapies, one practice is through massage. Massage frequentlyperformed to reduce labor pain is counterpressure. The purpose of thisstudy is to investigate the effect of counterpressure massage therapy asa measure to reduce labor pain. The method used is a narrative review.Article exploration was carried out in several databases, which arePubmed and Science Direct. In the case of Gray Literature, it wasaccessed via Google Scholar. Specific keywords were employed forliterature search and articles were selected by considering inclusion andexclusion criteria. The article selection process was elaboratedtransparently in the PRISMA Flowchart. From the article selectionprocedure, 14 articles were identified and fulfilled the criteria. Thus,articles were critically analyzed (Critical Appraisal) using the MixedMethod Appraisal Tool (MMAT). The review concludes thatcounterpressure is a massage performed by applying continuouspressure to the patient's sacral with the heel of the hand or fist of thehand. Counterpressure massage can be done in a straight stroke or smallcircular stroke. This technique is proven to be sufficient in relieving backpain during labor. The recommendation suggested is based on the 14articles reviews carried out that a common problem occurring in laboringwomen is physiological pain experience during childbirth so that it mayprovoke bad experiences for mothers, especially fear and anxiety thatmay lead to prolonged labor.Labor often prompts an unpleasant, fearful, or, further, traumatic experiences due to the pain it entails. Abstract

Previous research found that 4.17% of children under five who experienced poor nutritional status based on body weight in Klepu Village, Krangan District, Tumangung Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the nutritional status of children under five in Klepu Village, Kranggan District, Temanggung Regency. This observational survey research used a cross sectional study approach. The population consisted of 72 children under five, all of them were research subjects. The data was processed using the chi square test. It was concluded that the factors related to nutritional status were infectious conditions, history of exclusive breastfeeding, history of complementary feeding and income level of parents. Meanwhile, factors that are not related to nutritional status are maternal nutritional knowledge, energy nutrition level and protein consumption level.

Abstract

Introduction: Social problems that have occurred have been successfully adopted by the development media that can be used as victims or perpetrators of crime through social media. The many negative impacts of using social media to make children, build the Omah Bocah community in the Koang area of Jetis District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta with the aim of minimizing the use of social media. The importance of integrating the community in the context of social issues so that it can be used to analyze the community in minimizing the use of social media use in children through Omah Bocah in Koang, Jetis District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. Method: qualitative research with an observational descriptive design. Using interview and observation methods. The research subjects consisted of eleven people consisting of one of the founders of Omah Bocah, two Omah Bocah administrators, three children of Omah Bocah users, two community leaders and three communities. Data collection tools are interview guides, observation guides, handphones and stationery. Results: Omah Bocah is a community that aims to minimize the impact of using social media. The history and strategy of the establishment of Omah Bocah with the role of community participation have included determining strategic locations and easy access. socialization of the delivery of vision and mission. Community empowerment and community self-reliance according to ability. Participation is seen from participation in planning, implementation, monitoring evaluation and utilization has been running well to include all levels of society with their respective roles. Obstacles from the implementation of Omah Bocah in the form of awareness from their children and also the ability to procure materials by the Omah Bocah management.

Abstract

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding based on Government Regulation No. 33 of 2012 is breast milk given to infants since birth for six months, without adding and/or replacing with other foods or beverages (except medicines, vitamins and minerals). Nutrition improvement programs include several activities including nutritional surveillance, consultation, examination of toddlers by specialist doctors, monitoring of Exclusive Breastfeeding and Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) as well as the empowerment of the Community Supporting Groups (KP-Ibu). The Imogiri (MAMI) Mobile ASI Motivator Program was formed in 2009 with its initial activities in the form of exclusive ASI mentoring activities with a background of frequent failures in exclusive breastfeeding in the first three months after the baby was born and 0-3 days the mother gave formula milk, then in the year 2015 was named as ASI Mobile Imogiri (MAMI) Motivator. Method: This study aims to determine the input, process, output, outcome, feedback and environment in the MAMI program. This research type was qualitative with a descriptive approach using an in-depth interview method and observation. This research was conducted at Puskesmas Imogiri I Bantul Special Region of Yogyakarta with 11 informants, consisting of the Program Coordinator, Head of Puskesmas, Posyandu cadre and lactating mother. Results: The number of human resources was sufficient but in quality is still said to be less. The public understands the importance of Exclusive Breast Milk, but overall the program has not run maximally. Children exclusively breastfed exclusively have better immunity than formula-fed children. The environment of breastfeeding mothers has an important role in exclusive breastfeeding. Conclusion: The program is not running maximally yet.

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is a transitional period for an individual from childhood into adulthood, in the search of identity many teenagers fall into adolescent problems such as student brawl cases that occur in major cities in Indonesia, the number of drug users in adolescents reached 14 thousand people, increased cases of smokers in the age group 16 to 19 years, increase the number of early marriage every year. PIK R aims to prepare family life for teenagers. This study aims to determine the development of the Information Center and Youth Counseling program (PIK R) so that it reaches the rigorous stage. The study was conducted at SMAN 3 Bantul, because SMAN 3 Bantul is one of the schools in Region of Yogyakarta which has a PIK R called PIK R FRESS which has reached a tough stage. Method: This research is qualitative research with descriptive research design. Research subjects were seven people who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The research was conducted by interviewing, observing, and documenting and analyzing data through the reduction, presentation and conclusion stages. Results: The step of establishing PIK R at SMAN 3 Bantul included analyzing adolescent problems, socializing students at BKKBN, socializing the formation of PIK R in the school, so that PIK R FRESS was formed. Efforts made to support the development of PIK R are activities inside and outside of school, partnership development and Human Resources. Still found adolescent problems cause of inhibiting factors included member communication, activities of PIK R, and support from the school. Conclusion: The step of establishing PIK R is in accordance with BKKBN guidelines, included analyzing until socializing programme. In development of PIK R, PIK R conducts human resource development, activities and partnerships. The inhibiting factors were support from schools and the problem of internal PIK R.

Abstract

Background: Teenagers have a very complex problem along with the transmission period they experienced. In general, adolescents expressed the need for reproductive health services that is equal to 94.55% of the total respondents. Only a few respondents stated that they had used a youth service center that was 23.42%. Utilization of Youth Information and Counseling Center is still very low in Indonesia. Strategies to improve the utilization of the Youth Information and Counseling Center are urgently needed. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes and role of peer educators with the utilization of PIK-R in adolescents in SMA N 1 Sanden. Method: This research is a quantitative analytical research with cross sectional approach. Sampling using purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 75 members of PIK-R in SMA N 1 Sanden. Measurement of variables using questionnaires and tested using Chi square test. Results: The results of this study indicate that the role of peer educators has a significant relationship with the utilization of PIK-R (p = 0.008), no knowledge relation (p = 0.218) and attitudes about reproductive health (p = 0.072) with PIK-R utilization. Peer educator role variables have RP = 2.323 (95% CI = 1.284-4.202) more than the number 1 means peer educator role is really risk factor. Knowledge and attitude variable have RP value = 0.590 (95% CI = 0.278-1.252) and RP = 1.798 (95% CI = 1.029-3.143). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the role of peer educators and the utilization of PIK-R in adolescents in SMA N 1 Sanden.

Abstract

Various health risks can occur in tourism depending on the physical condition of the traveler and the type of trip. Tourists suddenly get sick because of changes in places visited such as altitude, humidity, temperature, or because of an accident. Parangtritis Beach Tourism is a tourist destination with the biggest destination in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). Parangtritis Beach has an increasing number of visitors annually, of course, accompanied by an increase in the risk of accidents and health problems. The risk of accidents that can occur to tourists is sinking, being hit by ATVs, jeeps and delmans, jellyfish animal bites, food poisoning, air pollution, skin irritation, and others. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with safe behavior on tourists at Parangtritis Beach, Bantul Regency, DIY. This study was an observational study with a cross-sectional or cross sectional study design. The sample in this study were visitors to Parangtritis beach, aged 17-50 years, with 110 respondents. The sampling technique used is accidental side. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire. Data analysis with chi square test. Bivariate analysis shows, sex with healthy and safe behavior (p-value 0.627), age with healthy and safe behavior (p-value 0.911), education with healthy and safe behavior (p-value 0.677), knowledge with healthy behavior and safe (p-value 0.020) and attitudes with healthy and safe behavior (p-value 0.003). There is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes with healthy and safe behavior. There is no relationship between gender, age and education with healthy and safe behavior.
