<![CDATA[Abstract. This study aims to describe the students' ability to read Mandarin (hanzi and pinyin) in terms of intonation, pronunciation, and fluency. The subjects of this study were 16 students of grade V SD Frater Makassar in 2020. The data analysis technique was quantitative descriptive. Quantitative analysis was obtained through observation and documentation activities. Based on the results of this study, the reading ability of the fifth grade students of SD Frater Makassar from the assessment of intonation, fluency, and pronunciation aspects, was still in the less category, which could be seen from the overall score of 1000 students with an average score. -Average 62.5 and a percentage value of 69.4%, Indonesian / Indonesian language grammar affects students in speaking Mandarin.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. This research aims to describes the mastery of Mandarin language vocabulary at HSK level I of 11th grade students of SMA Dian Harapan Makassar. The method used of this research was to conduct a vocabulary mastery test which consisted three kinds of tests, that is vocabulary translation test, sentence completion test and matching characters of Hanzi with Pinyin test which analyzed using the percentage formula, The results reached 96.4% with the conclusion that mastery of Mandarin vocabulary at HSK level of 11th grade students of SMA Dian Harapan was included in the perfect category.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. The study is a quasi experiment using the two-way ANAVA test which aims to obtain data on the influence of cooperative learning and learning styles on German writing skills. The experimental method used was a 2x2 factorial design. The sample of the study was 20 students of German Education Study Program batch 2019 of Class A. The results of this study reveal that (1) the results of the two-way ANAVA test obtained the value of fcount (0.049) < ftabel (4.45) at the significant level α = 0, 05, so there is an influence of cooperative learning on German writing skills of students of German Language Education Study Program at FBS UNM, (2) the results of the two-way ANAVA test obtained the value of fcount (0.049) < ftable (4.45) at a significant level of α = 0.05, so there is an influence of learning style on German writing skills of students of German Language Education Study Program at FBS UNM, and (3) the results of the two-way ANAVA test obtained the value of interaction fcount (I) = 3.95 < ftabel = 4.45 at the significant level α = 0.05. Therefore, the conclusion of the study is there is an interaction between cooperative learning and learning styles on German writing skills of students of German Language Education Study Program at FBS UNM]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. This research is a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design study which aims to determine the effectiveness of the picture and picture cooperative learning model in the mastery of Mandarin vocabulary for seventh grade students of SMP Frater Makassar. The independent variable in this study is the effectiveness of the picture and picture type of cooperative learning model, while the dependent variable in this study is the mastery of Mandarin vocabulary. The population in this study were students of class VII SMP Frater Makassar with a total of eight classes with a total of 250 students. The research sample is random sample (random sampling). Of the eight classes, VII A was selected as the experimental class and VII B as the control class, with 30 students each. The data from this research were obtained by providing a written pre-test and post-test with the material "Introduction". The result of t-test calculation at the significant level of 0.05 obtained the value of tcount = 6.22, which is greater than ttable 2.002, so it can be concluded that the picture and picture type of cooperative learning model is effective in mastering Mandarin vocabulary in class VII students of SMP Frater Makassar. The application of the picture and picture type of cooperative learning model can improve the learning of Chinese vocabulary in students, because this model is an educational model that makes pictures as a medium in the learning process so that it can attract students' attention and interest in mastering Mandarin vocabulary.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. This study aims to determine the increase in German vocabulary mastery. students in class XII Hotel Accommodation at SMK Santa Theresa Nangalili, West Manggarai Regency through short story media. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The subjects in this research were students of class XII Hotel Accommodation, which amount to 30 people. This research was conducted in two cycles, which cycle I and cycle II, and each cycle consisted of four stages, that’s planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. From the results of the German vocabulary mastery test, students obtained an average score of 64.93 in the first cycle and an increase in the second cycle with an average score of 80,67. The results of this research indicate that the use of short story media in learning can improve German vocabulary, as well as positive attitudes and activeness of students class XII Hotel Accommodation at SMK Santa Theresa Nangalili, West Manggarai- Nusa Tenggara Timur Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. This study aims to determine the planning process, implementation and results of the application of the Dictation å¬å†™ (TÄ«ngxiÄ›) method in improving the vocabulary of Mandarin for grade VII students of SMP Kalam Kudus Makassar. Data collection methods used were tests, observation and documentation. This research consists of two types, namely qualitative and quantitative. This study consisted of two cycles and each cycle there were two meetings. The results showed that the average score obtained by students in the first cycle reached 75.28% and the second cycle reached 90.42%. These results indicate that the vocabulary of the seventh grade students of SMP Kalam Kudus Makassar increased by using the Dictation Method å¬å†™ (TÄ«ngxiÄ›).]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the relationship between vocabulary mastery and German writing skills of class XI students of MAN 1 Makassar City. The sample in this study were students of class XI MIA 5 MAN 1 Makassar City which consisted of 1 class totaling 30 students. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The data were collected through a vocabulary mastery test and a poetry writing skill test. The research data were analyzed using the Product Moment correlation analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant relationship between vocabulary mastery and writing skills in German, this is indicated by the value of rh (0.108) ≤ rt (0.361), with N = 30 at the 0.05% significance level.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. This study aims to classify the types of errors made by students of class XI SMA Islam Athirah 2 Makassar in the use of auxiliary words 两 [liǎŋ] and 二 [ɚ] in Mandarin. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. Data were collected using a test using the auxiliary words 两 [liǎŋ] and 二 [ɚ]. The analytical method used is the error analysis proposed by Ellis in Tarigan. The population of this study were all students of class XI SMA Islam Athirah 2 Makassar which consisted of 9 students as well as the research sample using the total sample technique. This research data comes from the analysis of the use of the auxiliary words 两 [liǎŋ] and 二 [ɚ]. The results of data analysis show that there are 67 errors in the use of auxiliary words 两 [liǎŋ] and 二 [ɚ]. There were 33 errors in the use of auxiliary words 两 [liǎŋ] or 49.25% which were in the poor category and 34 errors in the use of auxiliary words 二 [ɚ] were 34 total errors or 50.75% which were in the under category error level.]]>

<![CDATA[The aims of this research were to find out the ttudents’ ability of Germany program of FBS UNM in explaining the tourist’ objects in Makassar, and their difficulties in explaining the tourist’ objects in Makassar. This research was a qualitative and qualitative descriptive method ( max method). Applied descriptive qualitative approach. The subjet of this research were the students of germany program of FBS UNM who took the subject of Deustch fűr Tourismus II. This research was conducted on May- September 2012. The result of this research showed that the ability of students of Germany program FBS UNM in explaining the tourist’ objects categorized as satisfied with the percentage of 48, 24%. There were three difficulties faced by the students in explaining the tourism field and lack of practice in speaking with the native speaker.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. This research is a pre-experimental design research which aims to determine the effectiveness of SAUD learning model in German language writing and speaking skills of class XI MIA MAN 1 Makassar. The data was collected through writing and speaking skills tests. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test. The population of this research were students of class XI MIA MAN 1 Makassar, which consisted of 5 classes totaling 195 students. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique. XI MIA 2, totaling 40 students was selected as the first experimental class and XI MIA 4 totaling 37 students was selected as the second experimental class. The results of data analysis of the first experimental class showed that tcount 8,78 > ttable 1,991 at a significance level 0,05, thus, the application of SAUD learning model was effective in German writing skills of class XI MIA MAN 1 Makassar. The results of data analysis of the second experimental class showed that tcount 12,11 > ttable 1,993 at a significance level 0,05, thus, the application of SAUD learning model was effective in the German speaking skills of class XI MIA MAN 1 Makassar.]]>
