Abstract

and Building Tax (PBB-P2) payments in South Sumedang District. The method used in the preparation of this proposal is a Qualitative Research Method, with an independent variable namely Community Participation. The informants were as many as 4 people, namely the sub-district head, the head of the governance section, the UN collector, and the village head. Based on the results of interviews and data analysis, it was concluded that community participation in the payment of land and building taxes in rural and urban sectors in South Sumedang District can be said to be quite good. Constraints contained in the Land and Building Tax Payment in rural and urban sectors in the Sumedang Selatan Subdistrict are weak personal awareness, lack of information, lack of free time, and economic capacity of the community. Efforts to overcome these problems are conducting intensive socialization to the public, and the existence of clarity of information by providing online services.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job promotion on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus in the Ganeas District Office of Sumedang Regency. In this study, researchers used a quantitative research methodology with descriptive research type. And researchers used a saturated sampling technique with a sample of 18 people consisting of the State Civil Apparatus in the Ganeas District Office of Sumedang Regency. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of library studies and field studies which include observation, and questionnaire distribution. Then the data processing technique is done by calculating the validity test, reliability test, percentage test, correlation test, significance test and test the coefficient of determination. The results of this study, researchers can describe that the influence of job promotion on the performance of the state civil servants reached 82.99%. The remaining 17.01% is influenced by other factors not examined by researchers called epsilon factor.

Abstract

The research objective of the researchers was to determine the effect of human resource development on the performance of SETWAN Sumedang Regency employees and to determine the relationship of human resource development with employee performance at SETWAN Sumedang Regency. In this study researchers used the Census research method. The data collection technique was carried out through literature studies and field studies consisting of observation, and questionnaire distribution. The population in this study were all employees of ASN SETWAN, Sumedang Regency. For sampling used the Saturated Sample technique. The number of samples in this study were 37 people. Based on the test of the correlation coefficient between the development of human resources and employee performance based on the calculation of Pearson product moment correlation coefficient obtained a value of 0.798 which is in the category of a very strong relationship level. Based on the significance test it is known that the significance of the score is 0,000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that the development of human resources has an effect on the performance of employees or means significant. While the calculation of the coefficient of determination that the influence of human resource development on employee performance in SETWAN Sumedang Regency is 63.7%, while the remaining 36.3% is influenced by other factors outside the study (epsilon factor), such as Competence and Professionalism. Based on the results of the study and conclusions, then the authors advise the SETWAN perform duties according to their abilities through the development of human resource development so as to be able to shape performance well.

Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted by the researchers was to determine the effect of compensation on employee morale in the Sumedang district's environment and forestry service. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method, namely research based on the philosophy of positivism, this study uses data processes in the form of numbers as a tool for conducting research studies, so the results of research calculations in the form of numbers. The members obtained in this type of research determine the population and sample. The sampling technique used is the saturation sampling technique, with a population of 63 people. Based on the results of the research, the research can illustrate that the compensation provided by the Department of Environment and Forestry of Sumedang Regency has reached 80.90% and the figure is categorized Very Good, as well as the level of employee morale at the Department of Environment and Forestry of Sumedang Regency which reaches 83, 46% and the figure is categorized Very Good. The compensation relationship with the morale of the Office of Environment and Forestry of Sumedang Regency with a correlation coefficient of 0.539 is in the medium category. While the effect of compensation on the morale of employees of the Department of Environment and Forestry in Sumedang Regency reached 29.1%, the remaining 70.9% was influenced by other variables not examined by researchers.

Abstract

The role of political parties greatly influences the condition and future of the nation, because through the results of these elections, a new leadership will be elected through general elections. The meaning of democratization in the life of the nation and the state is one of them by holding general elections which will lead a nation to a new leadership and government, with the hope that the new government will improve life in all fields. Thus, the change in the direction of the nation's and state's policies is inseparable from the role of political parties that fill the people's democratic party with a number of party visions and missions that vary according to their ideology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine, obtain objective data and information regarding of archive storage at Land Office of Sumedang Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with three informants, those are: one informant from General Administration of Division of Land Legal Relations; and two informants from Assistant General Administration of Division of Land Legal Relations. The data collection techniques used are literature studies, field studies (observations, interviews, and documentations) and triangulation. The procedure of data processing uses Miles and Huberman model data analysis consisting of: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verification. Based on the results of the study, can be concluded that archive storage at Land Office of Sumedang Regency it’s still not good. This can be seen from the temporary storage (file pending) and fixed storage (permanent file). The obstacles are, the lack of human resources; the lack of facilities and infrastructures to support archives such as shelves and file storage cabinets, and the lack of funding. Efforts that can be done are, increasing human resources in archives field, replenishment of facilities and infrastructures such as shelves and file storage cabinets, and optimizing funding.

Abstract

Good governance concept is an emerging issue in the management of publik admnistration today that emerged in the early 1990s. The system of state governace is important element in a country. In the implementation of regional autonomy, to e able to carry out its functions properly, local gomerments are required to realize goog governance in their respective regions. Good governance relates to how the local goverment both district and ciity as poliisy implementers, both national and local policies. When good governace delas with how local governments implement local level policies it also relates to how local government performance works policies to be implemented by local government.

Abstract

The research objective of the researcher is to find out the Organizational Culture and Service Quality of the Development Program, to find out the relationship between Organizational Culture and the Quality of Development Program Services and to find out the magnitude of the influence of Organizational Culture on Service Quality in in BAPPPPEDA Sumedang Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method which is used in research based on the philosophy of positivism in order to test the hypotheses that have been set. And the type of statistics used is inferential sampling technique used in this study is the Simple Random Sampling technique, with a population of 80 people then researchers used the Slovin formula to obtain a sample of 44 respondents. The analysis used includes the calculation of percentages, correlation tests, normality tests, significance tests, and coefficient of determination tests. Based on the results of the study, researchers can describe that the organizational culture in BAPPPPEDA Sumedang Regency is in very good criteria with the results of the analysis reaching 84.54%. Likewise, the quality of development program services in BAPPPPEDA in Sumedang Regency is in very good criteria with an analysis reaching 86.33%. From the correlation analysis, the correlation value is 0.419, which indicates a positive and significant relationship between Organizational Culture and Service Program Development Quality. While the influence of organizational culture on the quality of development program services in BAPPPPEDA in Sumedang Regency reached 17.6%, the remaining 82.4% was influenced by other factors not examined by researchers called epsilon factor.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problem of the role of the health office, obstacles, and efforts to overcome obstacles in the prevention of HIV / AIDS in Sumedang Regency. The research method used is descriptive research using a qualitative analysis study approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. With research informants namely the Secretary, the Head of Disease Prevention and Control, the Head of the Prevention and Control Section of Communicable Diseases, the Chairman of the Aids Prevention Commission in Sumedang Regency, and the Chairman of Citizens Care for Aids in Sumedang Regency. Data collection techniques using data analysis model Miles and Huberman with the steps: Data reduction, data presentation, Concultion Drawing / Verification, and Triangulation. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the health office had played a role in the prevention and control of HIV / AIDS, but it was still lacking in optimizing the role and support of the community, especially key populations who according to informants were not willing to carry out the proper examination or treatment. There are some suggestions from the author that can be used as references and recommendations to support the smooth role of the health office in HIV / AIDS prevention, namely by carrying out joint records with each of the cross-sectors regarding the development of activities and obstacles in the effort to combat HIV, so that later evaluations can be carried out related to tasks. and responsibilities of each across sectors. Then disseminate information using more creative media, one of which is using film media or leaflets.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine work stress, to determine employee productivity, to know the relationship between work stress and employee productivity and to determine the effect of work stress on employee productivity in the Department of Environment and Forestry, Sumedang Regency. Stress is an inability regarding the threats faced by a human being mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually which at one time can affect the physical health of the human being. Stress is our perception of a situation or condition in our own environment. Another definition states that stress is a condition of tension that affects one's emotions, thinking processes, and conditions. Meanwhile, productivity is a measure of the use of resources in an organization which is usually expressed as a ratio of the output achieved with the resources used (input). The method used in this research is quantitative research methods that examine specific populations, data collection using instruments, statistical analysis, with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses. Meanwhile, data collection was carried out by means of library research and field studies in the form of observation and questionnaires to 63 respondents in the Environment and Forestry Service of Sumedang Regency.The results of this study, obtained a description of job stress including good criteria with a percentage of 81.47%, employee productivity including good criteria with a percentage of 82.63%. Then the job stress variable (X) affects the employee productivity variable (Y) by 24.9%. While the rest (100% - 24.9% = 75.1%) is influenced by outside variables that are not studied. There are several suggestions, one of which is that the Sumedang District Environment and Forestry Service has a meeting forum as a means to discuss or evaluate employee work results so that employee productivity at the Environment and Forestry Service in Sumedang Regency is better.
