Abstract

Purpose: This PKM aims to raise public awareness of environmental health and generate profits by utilizing household waste which has the potential as a source of technopreneurship-based creative economy which can be a strategy in suppressing waste production in Indonesia. Research Methodology: The method used in this PKM is in the form of outreach activities, counseling, training, and assistance in waste management and maggot caterpillar cultivation. Results: The result of this activity is the formation of environmentally conscious volunteers who can manage waste and cultivate maggot caterpillars in an organized, creative, and innovative manner using digital technology in their marketing Conclusions: The conclusion from the implementation of this activity is that there is a change in community behavior in managing household waste into something that is worth selling. The cadre of environmentally conscious volunteers is a community engaged in waste entrepreneurship as an effort to create an education center for waste management.

Abstract

Purpose: The objectives of implementing community service include providing insight to teachers about best practice writing and providing best practice writing training. Method: The method used is field observation. The target in community service is junior-high school educators in Waru Sidoarjo district. These activities are carried out in the form of training activities, teaching, discussions, and research writing practices. Results: The training that has been carried out on middle-high school educators, namely (a) educators respond well to training in the PPM program, (b) educators have the motivation to improve in making scientific papers, (c) variety of scientific language is a common material in Indonesian language lessons so that educators are active in participating in training, (d) the teachers have a fairly good understanding in writing scientific papers, and (e) the educators respond well to aspects of the implementation of activities, aspects of the presenters, and aspects as a whole. Then, the final results show that from 44 participants, quantitatively that 30 participants have finished writing a best practice writing report, and only 14 participants still needed improvement. Conclusions: Through community service, teachers are able to make research through best practice. Although, there are some teachers who need revision related to the research content.

Abstract

Purpose: The objectives of Tourism Village development in “Pulau Legundi”, Pesawaran District, Lampung Province is to know the societies’ motivation in developing entrepreneurship based on tourism village service, the ability of society in understanding how to develop tourism village, and the readiness of society to engage in tourism village development in order to improve their prosperity. Method: The three-step method used is that the first is preparation to identify the potential resources and the societies’ readiness to accept the community service in terms of Tourism Village development, the second is to conduct training and coaching, and then followed by monitoring and evaluation. Results: The results show that the knowledge, spirit and motivation, and understanding insights in developing Tourism Village increase after getting the training and coaching programs. Conclusions: Tourism Village in “Pulau Legundi” Village is very important to be developed to increase the prosperity of the society by creating the tourism attractions, providing information technology infrastructure and strengthening the motivation of the village governor by relevant government role, continuing training and coaching programs to improve the competence of the Tourism Village entrepreneurs, and implementing marketing communication through marketing digital content that is disseminated in the internet and social media.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service aims to provide knowledge and skills to cooperative supervisors. Research Methodology: In this service, we provided cooperative management materials, knowledge, and understanding to cooperative supervisors on their obligations and rights as cooperative supervisors using lecture, practice, and discussion methods. The understanding of the material was measured using a questionnaire before and after giving the material. Results: The results of the training have a positive and significant effect on the performance of cooperative supervisors, can increase the knowledge and understanding of cooperative supervisors in carrying out their main duties and functions as supervisors Conclusion: The implementation of this service, especially in fostering cooperative supervisors, is very useful. This is indicated by the results of the pre-test and post-test of the participants showing significant results. The supporting factors are the facilities for carrying out activities provided by the organizers and the inhibiting factor is that some of the participants do not have an economic background knowledge so it is quite difficult for them to understand cooperative finance.

Abstract

Purpose: This service aims to socialize and offer training related to the use of online study rooms through Google Classroom And Google Form to teachers and employees at State Elementary School 23 Palembang. Method: The method used when carrying out this service activity is the lecture method and direct practice. Both provide material introduction to theory and direct practice of using Google Classroom and Google Form for both teachers and employees. Results: From this service activity in the form of providing material and direct practice, both teachers and employees who tried Google Classroom and Google Form got good results. Teachers and employees understand the use of online media in the form of Google Classroom And Google Form. Conclusions: After getting materials and practices for using online media, Google Classroom and Google Form, teachers and employees are accustomed to use these online media throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Purpose: to provide education to MSME business actors on good management practices in managing and determine MSME management models that can realize good management practices as an effort to improve MSME management performance. This management model contains aspects of company management, namely marketing management, production management, financial management, and human resource management. Method: The method used is to provide education and literacy about good managerial practices. The material provided includes general management and human resources, production management, financial management, and marketing management. In measuring the level of understanding of participants before giving the material and filling out the post-test after the material is given. In addition, questionnaires were filled out to develop participants' understanding of good management practices using analytical indexes. Results: The result of this study is an increase in understanding of management practices as seen from the increase in the average pre-test of 5.56, increasing in the post-test to 7.31. MSMEs actors understand the material provided on general management and human resources, production management, financial management, and marketing management. Based on the index analysis, the participants' level of understanding of the material on human resource management, marketing management, production management, and financial management is in the high category. Conclusions: Educational and literacy activities about good management practices can increase partners' knowledge about aspects of business management and can put this knowledge into practice in business progress.

Abstract

Purpose: SMEs in Kerinjing Village are faced with the problem of lack of financing and guidance. Efforts are needed tp strengthen these SMEs in facing competition by providing entrepreneurial knowledge sucj as business ethics, handling customer amplaints, and financial management. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of small business actors in Kerinjing Village. The activities carried out are in the form of business planning training that is beneficial for their business development. Method: The method used in this community service activity is counseling and training. Results: the results of this community service activity are: (1) providing and increasing knowledge about business plan training for SMEs. (2) Increasing interest and desire in entrepreneurship, and (3) providing a forum for distributing products made from community crafts Conclusions: after the activity is carried out, the community gains knowledge, insight and understands the benefits of business planning training. The growing motivation of the community to carry out entrepreneurial activities in improving the welfare of the community.

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of designing this PkM is to increase and develop the potential and economic capacity of the community, particularly in the villages that have received assistance from the Universitas Muslim Indonesia, to improve the overall well-being of the community. It is necessary to achieve business independence while also opening up new employment opportunities for the family economy to undergo fundamental transformations. Another objective is to increase income and improve the well-being of rural communities during the period of recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic's economic impact. Method: The method is carried out by providing socialization to housewives who are members of the Family Empowerment group of partner villages, processing assistance to making products made from fresh fish produced from natural resources in Desa Padingging, Kabupaten Takalar. Results: The products are widely distributed, both in grocery stores backed by BUMDes and in traditional markets, as well as in the process of entering the Makassar souvenir shops that are characteristic of the city. Conclusions: To promote the use of natural resources in Takalar Regency, which is rich in natural resources and particularly abundant in fresh fish, socialization activities relating to their utilization have been carried out. This is done to maximize the economic potential currently available for the production of superior processed fish products. As a result of the activities that have been carried out, it is expected that housewives and partner villages supported by Universitas Muslim Indonesia will be able to earn a living independently.

Abstract

The purpose: The purpose of this community service (PKM) is to improve understanding and ability of the Basic Accounting Competencies starting from the accounting cycle to financial reporting for MSME. Method: This PKM activity is carried out using the tutorial method and discussion on the concept of Basic Accounting covering the accounting cycle to financial statements. The target of these trainees is Komunitas Perempuan Tangguh Nasional (KOMPETeN), which is a community forum for housewives who have entrepreneurs, with the aim of helping to develop an entrepreneurial spirit, strengthening the role of women in MSMEs, opening access to permits and training to develop MSMEs, open access to global marketing, and create synergies among fellow members and members with other parties.. The implementation of this training activity is intended to increase the participation of the Program Pendidikan Profesi Akuntan FEB Usakti in helping to improve human resource competence, especially for Komunitas Perempuan Tangguh Nasional (KOMPETeN) in Indonesia. This activity was carried out on March 16, 2021 online through Zoom Meeting. Results: Based on the evaluation, after following this PKM (1) The participants understand the basic accounting and basic transactions for MSMEs; (2) Participants can understand the financial statement especially income statement for MSMEs; and (3) The participants can prepare the income statement for MSMEs. Conclusions: There are improvements of MSME entrepreneurs’ competence in terms of the Basic Accounting for Komunitas Perempuan Tangguh Nasional (KOMPETeN).

Abstract

Purpose: Digital-based learning management workshop is the existence of new knowledge that can be applied by teachers during the learning process with their students, especially making questions or quizzes using Google Classroom and Google Forms. The subjects of this workshop are the teachers of the State Elementary School 1 Kota Kulon, Garut Kota. Method: A digital-based learning workshop with 2 sessions, namely the presentation of material and the practice of using digital media. Results: Online learning workshops that have been organized by the Garut University Service Team provide new understanding and skills to SDN 1 Kulon City teachers in using various digital platforms that can support the learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic. The drawback of this activity is the limited facilities and infrastructure available owned by teachers to support digital-based learning, as there are still few teachers who have laptops or computers to support learning. Contribution: of this activity is to support schools to encourage the ability of educators to carry out digital-based learning, especially during the pandemic of COVID-19.
