<![CDATA[This study aims to produce innovations in the form of interactive, valid and practical learning media, and can support the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method in Analog and Digital Electronics courses. The research method used is the Pre-Experimental method with One Shot Case Study design. The subject of this research is Analog and Digital Electronics course. This learning media innovation was applied to several students of the Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang, in 2021 who were taking Analog and Digital Electronics courses. Before being shown to respondents, the learning media is tested for validity/feasibility by media expert lecturers. In view of the feasibility test that has been done, this learning media gets a value of ninety three percent, both with regards to appearance and content of the material. Thus, the media can be declared valid/valid so that the research can be continued in obtaining the value of the practicality of the media from the respondents who have been given treatment. The practicality test which was filled out by eight students, obtained an average data of ninety two percent in the very practical category. Data on the feasibility and practicality of the media were obtained using a validated questionnaire of zero point ninety eight by instrument expert lecturers. So, it tends to be inferred that the learning media in the Analog and Digital Electronics course is valid and practical to use in the Analog and Digital Electronics learning process.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the description of Electrical Engineering Students' Barriers to Online Learning. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive method, which means that this research method aims to create a description or descriptive of an objective that uses numbers, starting from data collection, interpretation of the data and appearance and results. The research instrument used a questionnaire distributed to students majoring in Electrical Engineering class of 2020 who carried out online learning, totaling sixty-five students. Assessment of research instruments using a Likert scale. The data analysis used is a descriptive statistical approach using the average mean, standard deviation values, and category scores of one to five to determine the extent of the distribution of the data. The results showed that the electrical engineering students' barriers to online learning had different category levels for each indicator, in the high category there were facilities indicators in the medium category, there were three indicators, namely indicators of psychological barriers, indicators of educators or lecturers and family indicators. So it can be concluded that the obstacles experienced by students majoring in Electrical Engineering in online learning come from psychological barriers, lecturers or educators, facilities and families. These factors trigger students to be less motivated to carry out online learning so that online learning is less effective and efficient.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the existence of PTK supervision which makes a better management system. The informant in this study was the head of the laboratory and education laboratory institution (plp). This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research was conducted at the basic and measurement laboratory of the electrical engineering department. The method of data collection was carried out using the observation method to determine the conditions and situations of the existing facilities and infrastructure in the laboratory, this interview method was carried out with the head of Labor and PLP related to laboratory management and documentation methods to obtain data in the form of images and supporting documents to support research. In this study, to obtain the validity of the data, triangulation was carried out to adjust the data collected according to the field, by comparing the results of interviews with documentation and documents related to basic and measurement laboratory management. So, it can be said that with PTK supervision, a better management system in the Basic and Measurement laboratory of the electrical engineering department includes planning aspects, organizing aspects, implementation aspects, and supervision aspects.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the work readiness of students at SMKN 2 Lubuk Basung Department of Electrical Power Installation Engineering. Work readiness refers to an individual's total physical, mental, and life experience, as well as their willingness and capacity to perform work or an activity. The research method used in this research is descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The variable studied was the work readiness of students majoring in Electrical Power Installation Engineering, SMKN 2 Lubuk Basung. The variable studied was the work readiness of students majoring in Electrical Power Installation Engineering, SMKN 2 Lubuk Basung. The research instrument used in this study was in the form of a questionnaire which was distributed to respondents directly which had 1 variable and 7 indicators. This research questionnaire was conducted on students in class XII Electrical Power Installation Engineering with a total of 31 respondents and the results obtained were 15 respondents with poor work readiness results. The results of this study can be concluded that the work readiness of students majoring in Electrical Power Installation Engineering, SMKN 2 Lubuk Basung is categorized as bad.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to see how students perceive the teaching skills of Praktik Pengalam Lapangan (PPL) students at the Jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The method used in this research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique was carried out by counting the number of respondents' answers to each statement item. The population of this study were all students who took the subject of Pekerjaan Dasar Elektromekanik at the Jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik at SMK Negeri 5 Padang as many as 105 people. The sample of this study was obtained as many as 51 people using the Systematic Random Sampling technique. Based on the research instrument test, the validity of 32 statement items was obtained with a reliability test of 0.883. The results of the study stated that students' perceptions of the teaching skills of Praktik Pengalam Lapangan (PPL) students at the Jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik at SMK Negeri 5 Padang were categorized as good with a percentage of 78.4%, which consisted of (1) asking skills 64.7%, (2) skills giving reinforcement 62.7%, ( 3) explaining skills 70.6%, (4) teaching variation skills 53%, (5) skills guiding small group discussions 58.8%, (6) opening and closing lessons 50.9% which is stated in good category and (7) processing skills 43.1% class, (8) small group and individual teaching skills 49.1% are categorized as quite good. So the overall perception of students towards teaching skills of Praktik Pengalam Lapangan (PPL) students at the Jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik at SMK Negeri 5 Padang has been carried out well.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine management and its effect on improving management performance in the Laboratory of the Department of Electrical Engineering. As for the method used, namely the qualitative method with an interview. The subjects of the study were two Laboratory at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University. The procedure for collecting information is carried out by using the procedures for interviews with two laboratory workers and documentation is carried out to obtain information in the form of photos or supporting documents as research support. Before conducting an interview, of course, it is necessary to conduct a validity / feasibility test by the validator to produce the correct research instrument. After the interview results were obtained, the researcher then conducted an analysis of the results of the interview with the informant. Procedures in data analysis use several techniques such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. For the validation of data, a triangulation technique is used, which is to compare the results of the interview with the content of related documents. Until, it can be concluded that the administration in the Laboratory of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Padang State University is in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) provided by the Department and increases the need for tools to improve the performance of laboratory management.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how big the influence of learning motivation and practical creativity on students' practical learning outcomes in the subject of electrical lighting installation at SMK N 5 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with correlation analysis method. The research subjects were students of class XII TITL 1 for questionnaire respondents and XI TITL 1 for the academic year 2021/2022 for practical learning outcomes. Data collection uses questionnaires and documentation, scoring the questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale and then the questionnaire is validated by an expert lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering before being tested and distributed to the main respondents. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis technique and hypothesis testing using t-test was conducted to partially test the effect between independent and dependent variables, and f-test was performed to test the effect simultaneously between independent and dependent variables. The results show that (1) there is a significant and positive influence on learning motivation on learning outcomes (2) there is a significant and positive influence on practical creativity on learning outcomes (3) there is a significant and positive influence on learning motivation and practical creativity together. on the learning outcomes of practical learning in the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation at SMK N 5 Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to review, explain, express problems, and find out the process of implementing the practicum, the difficulties in the practicum, and the factors causing the difficulties in the practicum in the Electrical Measurement Practicum Course using the illuminative evaluation model. The informants in this study were 24 students of the UNP Electrical Engineering Education study program. The research method used is a qualitative method with descriptive evaluative data. Data collection techniques in this method using interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data analysis according to Miles Huberman are data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study concluded that the process of carrying out the electrical measurement practicum had gone well and smoothly in accordance with the standard operating procedure of the practicum, there were several difficulties in the practicum experienced by students including: difficulty reading and understanding circuit drawings, difficulty in assembling tools and materials in the circuit, difficulty using and read the results on several measuring instruments. The cause of the difficulty is due to the lack of understanding of students in understanding the electrical measurement material and the worksheets that have been given as well as the learning environment. Recommendations given to overcome difficulties in electrical measurement practicum should be carried out as much as possible so that other difficulties do not occur again.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to see the level of work readiness that is influenced by the learning outcomes of productive subjects of class XI students of the Electrical Power Installation Engineering Department (TITL) at SMK Negeri 2 Sijunjung. This type of research uses a causal relationship method with quantitative data. The population in this study were class XI students of the Electrical Power Installation Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Sijunjung. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling with a total sample of 70 students. For data collection techniques using documentation and questionnaire techniques measured by a Likert scale. The analysis used are: simple linear regression analysis and t test. The results of the study indicate that learning outcomes have a significant effect on work readiness, this is evidenced by the value of rcount being greater than rtable. From the t-test also obtained the results of the calculation of tcount greater than ttable which means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between learning outcomes on the work readiness of class XI TITL students at SMK Negeri 2 Sijunjung.]]>

<![CDATA[The practice of electrical machines is one of the learning activities for undergraduate students of Electrical Engineering Education which is carried out in the form of practice in the laboratory. This practical activity requires a worksheet as a guide for students to practice. Based on the observations made, the jobsheets used in the electrical machine practice activities for undergraduate students of Electrical Engineering Education, Padang State University need to be developed to suit the practical material contained in the new curriculum. Therefore, in this study, a valid and practical electric machine practice worksheet was developed in accordance with the curriculum for Electrical Engineering Education students. The development of the jobsheet is carried out using the 4D development research method, which consists of four stages of activity, namely the define, design, develop, and dessiminate stages. The feasibility of the developed jobsheet is reviewed from the validity and practicality of the jobsheet. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results of data analysis showed that the worksheets developed in this study were suitable for use with 93% validity from experts and 94% practicality from jobsheet users in the very practical category, while student respondents were 75.6% in the practical category.]]>
