Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of attention of students in following the learning process. This is because the learning media used do not cause direct interaction with students. As a result, not all students are serious about participating in learning activities. Therefore, interactive learning media are needed so that there is a direct interaction between students and the media used. The learning media used is the Interactive Microsoft Office Powerpoint. The purpose of this research is to produce interactive learning media that are valid, practical, and effective. The type of research used is research and development R&D (Research Development). The research model used is the ADDIE model, namely (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The subject of this research is learning media using the Powerpoint application. Respondents of this study were 48 lecturers of K3 and Labor Law and 1LB grade students of the Department of Electrical Engineering. The results of media validation by the validator team were declared valid with an average of 0.83. The results of the practicality of the media from the lecturers of the course were 89.58% in the very practical category and from the students was 85.66% including the practical category. In the effectiveness test of the Post-test, it was found that students' classical completeness was 87.50%. So it can be concluded that this learning media is valid, practical, and effective in the learning process.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several things, namely the limitations of supporting books for student books, students still have difficulty mastering the learning material well in the subject matter of calculating electrical power and energy in the calculation concept and limitations of the LKPD which consists of a collection of questions only, the learning materials provided also very short and packaged in just one meeting. This study aims to develop LKPD in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects in basic competencies 3.2 and 3.6 in class X TPTU which are valid and practical at SMKN 1 West Sumatra. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE model. This model consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected using the LKPD validation and practicality instrument sheet, the LKPD validity questionnaire, and the LKPD practicality questionnaire. The subjects of this study were LKPD Basic Electricity and Electronics and the respondents in this study were students of class X TPTU B and teachers of DLE subjects at SMKN 1 West Sumatra. The results of this study obtained data on the average validity of LKPD from three validators in the valid category. The results of the practicality test by the teacher were stated in the very practical category and the practicality by students was stated in the very practical category. Thus LKPD Basic Electricity and Electronics are declared valid and practically used in learning the basic theory of electricity and electronics class X TPTU at SMK N 1 West Sumatra.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of learning media using Lectora Inspire for study Basic of Electrics and Electronics in SMK Negeri 1 Padang. The purpose of this research is to develop interactive learning media for study Basic of Electrics and Electronics at X grade of SMK Negeri 1 Padang. The type of research used is Research and Development. The subject of this research is interactive learning media using the Lectora Inspire for subject study DLE (Basic of Electrics and Electronics). Student of X grade TJTL class in SMK Negeri 1 Padang and one teacher of DLE study as respondents. The development model used in this research is a 4-D development model, that has four steps are Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The result of media validation has an average score by all of the validator team is 0.82. The practicality test of interactive learning media by the teacher had a result is 89.58% in the practical category and the practicality test result from 18 students is 82.37% were included in the practical category. And the interactive learning media can be used for Basic Electrics and Electronics Study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of instructional video on student learning outcomes in Class X on the subjects of the Basics of Electronic Engineering with learning material is Active and Passive Electronic Components. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman. Data was collected using a research instrument that given post-test in the form of multiple-choice questions to the student with the odd absent numbers as experiment class is X TOI group A and the student with the even absent number as the control class is X TOI group B. hypothesis was carried out using T-test analysis, the T-test is used to analyze the difference on students learning outcomes that use learning media in the form of text in Microsoft Word and other students that use learning media in the form of learning video. The results of the hypothesis test show that the use of instructional video has a significant effect on student learning outcomes and shows that there is an influence significant difference between the post-test results of the experimental class that uses instructional video and the control class that does not use instructional videos in the Basics of Electronic Engineering Class X TOI at SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman.

Abstract

The lecture process is a communication process, where classroom activities are a separate world of communication, where lecturers and students interact with each other to achieve lecture goals. Lecturers, one of the main components in the lecture process, are able to create and create conditions and atmosphere that can stimulate students to learn actively and dynamically. The module is one of the tools that can be used by lecturers to deliver lecture material. Things that can affect lecture activities, namely the module as a tool in practical learning activities. The purpose of this research is to develop a module that is suitable for use so as to improve the quality of the practicum lecture process and increase students' understanding in mastering the lecture material. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The valid assessment of the module is carried out by experts consisting of media experts and material experts, the data collection instrument uses an assessment questionnaire. The results of this study obtained a module that can guide students to learn independently and guided based on media experts categorized as valid, while the feasibility of the material based on material experts get a valid category. So that the developed module can be used by lecturers to deliver lecture material in practicum.

Abstract

The module is one of the tools used by educators which aims to deliver learning material so that it is easier to learn independently. The background of this research is that the learning process in schools has not been implemented properly, due to the lack of a complete level of use of learning media that is easy for students to understand so that the level of student understanding has not been fulfilled and students have not been able to learn independently. This study aims to produce a valid and practical electric lighting installation learning module at SMK Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan. This research uses the development research (R&D) method with a model adapted into 4-P consisting of Definition, Design, Development, and Deployment. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TITL at SMK Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan. Analysis based on research obtained media validation with valid categories and material validation obtained with valid categories. The results of the Practicality test with educator respondents getting results in a very practical category and respondents from class XI TITL SMK Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan stated that the electric lighting installation learning module was in a very practical category. Thus the electric lighting installation learning module is valid and practical and can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Pada umumnya, pembasmian hama padi dilakukan dengan cara penyemprotan pestisida. Hal ini akan mengakibatkan tanah dan tanaman padi tercemar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat pembasmi hama otomatis yang ramah lingkungan tanpa menggunakan pestisida. Penelitian ini juga membuat sistem pengaman alat dengan pemberitahuan suara buzzer dan pesan singkat di android. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan agar berhasil membuat alat pembasmi hama tanaman padi otomatis menggunakan tegangan kejut listrik dimulai dari perancangan hardware kemudian pengumpulan data dan melakukan penelitian dengan menguji coba alat di sawah untuk melihat keefektifan alat. Pada perancangan ini, mikrokontroler Atmega 328 Arduino UNO digunakan sebagai pusat pengendali sistem, sensor LDR digunakan sebagai pengganti sakelar lampu DC dimalam hari untuk membuat hama mendekat sesuai dengan karakteristiknya yang tertarik dengan cahaya, kemudian tegangan kejut listrik akan aktif setiap 1 menit untuk menyengat hama yang menempel pada jaring kawat yang sudah dibuat, sensor getar sw-420 digunakan untuk mengaktifkan modul GSM dan buzzer ketika seseorang mencuri alat yang sudah terpasang di sawah. Pemrograman menggunakan software Arduino IDE. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian selama 3 hari, alat pembasmi hama padi ini dapat membasmi 39 hama kepik hitam, penggerek batang padi, dan walang sangit.

Abstract

Pengangguran bagi penduduk usia 15 tahun ke atas adalah pertarungan yang tidak pernah berakhir meskipun semakin tahun masih ada penurunan namun penurunan tersebut sangat signifikan apabila dibandingkan menggunakan lapangan pekerjaan yang digeluti oleh angkatan kerja tersebut. Indonesia, dari data BPS, dalam tahun 2010 taraf pengangguran terbuka sebanyak 7,41% sedangkan dalam tahun 2012 tercatat sebanyak 6,32% dari total angkatan kerja usia pada atas 15 tahun. Besarnya taraf pengangguran terbuka memiliki akibat sosial yg sangat rawan dan luas terhadap kehidupan masyarakat, lantaran mereka belum bekerja dan belum memiliki pendapatan. Semakin tinggi taraf pengangguran terbuka meningkat taraf kerawanan sosial, bahkan bisa mengakibatkan taraf kriminalitas sebagai semakin tinggi. Sebaliknya, apabila taraf pengangguran terbuka bisa ditekan dan diperkecil, maka kerawanan sosial akan berkurang dan bahkan meningkatkan pencerahan sosial yang tinggi menjadi dampak berdasarkan taraf kemakmuran yang semakin merata. Pelaksanaaan pelatihan perawatan dan service kelistrikan sepeda motor dilakukan bagi pemuda Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak Binaan Remaja (PSAABR) Budi Utama Lubuk Alung Kabupaten Padang Pariaman dengan cara pemberian materi berupa pengetahuan dasar-dasar dan melaksanakan praktik. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan dalam beberapa sesi selama 3 hari dengan jumlah peserta 15 orang. Ujian dilakukan dilakukan diawal pelaksanaan pelatihan dan diakhir pelatihan. Hasil yang di peroleh setelah pelatihan adalah menambah wawasan pemuda putus sekolah mengenai teknik perawatan dan service kelistrikan sepeda motor, keahlian meningkat di lihat dari post test.

Abstract

The ideal grounding resistance to avoid from lightning strikes is R < 1 Ω . This study aims to measure grounding resistance and analyze the resistance grounding at different depths. The research was conducted in the Integrated Class Building and Chemistry Laboratory Building, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Padang State University (FMIPA UNP). The type of research used is an experiment by direct measurement to measure the grounding resistance at the grounding terminal on the box electrical and measuring ground resistance using solid electrodes with a diameter of 5/8 inches at different depths. Measurements were carried out using the three-point method using an Earth Tester. Based on research conducted, the average value of ground resistance in the Integrated Class Building, Department of Mathematics1and1Science, Padang State University is 1.85 Ω and the average value of ground resistance in the Chemical Laboratory Building is 9.38 Ω. The recommended ground system was installed is grounding single1rod with ground resistance 0.91 Ω at the Integrated Class Building, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Padang State University and R = 0.95Ω at the Chemistry Laboratory Building, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai tahanan pentanahan yang ada di Gedung Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Padang. Nilai resistansi yang terukur berpengaruh pada kualitas sistem pentanahan. Pengukuran yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur Earth Tester dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode tiga titik. Dari pengukuraan ini nliai yang didapat di Gedung Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni tepatnya di Gedung Teater/Dekanat Universitas Negeri Padang yaitu rata-rata 8,86
