Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine how online learning became possible due to COVID 19 when an old form of learning process was shifted to online learning. The students who are used to face-to-face learning must be exposed to the realities of learning online using online media. In order to discover the progress of online learning at school, one method is to expand existing online learning. The aim of this research is to evaluate online learning in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects at SMK Semen Padang 2020/2021. In this study, quantitative research methods were used and research instruments were questionnaires. Based on the results of the research, the teachers and students have completed online learning well with the completion of learning beyond the minimum grade limit in a class. Using questionnaires about the online learning process, we obtained good results in this category, and questionnaires about learners' interests provided high results in this category. In conclusion, the implementation of the learning process for DLE subjects at SMK Semen Padang has been carried out effectively based on the three assessments.

Abstract

Practice learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was disrupted, causing the Department of Electrical Engineering, Padang State University to apply to learn using the blended learning method. This makes it difficult for students to carry out practicum in the laboratory because students are still confused. To overcome this, a learning media has been made in the form of an e-job sheet (e-job sheet) for electric circuit practicum courses. However, the e-job sheet that has been made has not been tested for feasibility. So this study aims to analyze the validity of the e-job sheet learning media for the Electrical Circuit Practicum course at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Padang State University. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach. The research subjects were E-Job Sheets and the respondents in this study were two media expert lecturers at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Padang State University. Data collection techniques using the questionnaire method. The research instrument used was a validated questionnaire. The questionnaire was then given to the respondents. The data was processed by quantitative statistical analysis techniques. This research produces a learning media product in the form of an e-job sheet with a very feasible category. So, it can be locked that the e-job sheet produced is valid so that it is suitable for use as a learning medium in the electrical circuit practicum course at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Padang State University.

Abstract

There are 2 objectives of the research, namely the first to develop an assessment using Google Classroom for the subject of electrical lighting installation for class XI TITL at SMK Negeri 5 Padang and the second, namely to determine the feasibility of a Google Classroom-based assessment in terms of validity and practicality. This type of research is research and development with a 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. The subject of this research is a Google Classroom-based assessment on the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation. This data collection uses a validation sheet given to one lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang and two teachers of Electrical Lighting Installation subjects at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Practical data using a questionnaire given to three teachers of Electrical Lighting Installation subjects and twenty students of class XI TITL. Based on the research, data obtained with a validity level of 86.7% for the very valid category and a practicality level of 87.8% for the very practical category. Thus this research has resulted in a Google Classroom-based assessment on the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation which is valid and practical.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop two basic modules in electrical installation courses and second, to determine the feasibility level of basic modules in electrical installation courses. Learning modules can train students to be able to learn independently. Because the relevant modules have not been found related to the basic installation planning in the PTE UNIMA department. Therefore, researchers develop learning modules as one of the effective means used in studying the material, so that it is expected to increase knowledge, as well as ability to think. The research method used is Research and Development with a 4D development model developed by S. Thiagarajan. The instrument used is a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 4 for experts and for students. The validity of the instrument used is based on the opinion of experts (Expert Judgment). The research subjects are media experts, material experts, and students. This data collection uses a questionnaire that is created and distributed using a google form to 2 expert lecturers and to students. The feasibility level of the basic module of electrical installation planning carried out by material experts obtained a score of sixty-four out of a maximum score of ninety-two with the "adequate" category. The total score obtained by media experts is one hundred and ten from the total maximum score of one hundred and fourteen with the "decent" category. The assessment of the user's response to the basic module of electrical installation planning got a score of seventy-four with the "appropriate" category and this research has produced a learning module in the form of a book.

Abstract

The use of (conventional) lecture methods in the process of teaching activities can take place well if students have the ability to listen and hear well.This can have an impact on the lack of maximum student activity in the teaching and learning process because of one-way communication.This encourages research on the application of blended learning methods in the basic subjects of electronic electricity at SMK Muhammadiyah Padang.The study used descriptive methods with a quantitative approach and the subject used was class X TITL.Data collection is done by documentation method and test method with the number of questions as many as 25 questions.Data analysis is done with descriptive analysis methods with the help of Microsoft Excel applications so that minimal values, maximum values, mean, median, mode, and frequency distribution are obtained.The results of this study showed that the use of blended learning methods was ineffective because the value of students who did not reach KKM ≥ 75.Test results showed that 50% of students obtained low grades and 7% of students obtained very high grades that almost reached KKM ≥ 75.Thus the blended learning method still cannot be applied to the basic subjects of electronic electricity.

Abstract

This research was carried out because in the lighting installation course there is no jobsheet on Tae Langlois 1-3 media, so this study aims to produce a jobsheet for Tae Langlois 1-3 media which is useful to support the learning of residential installation courses. The method in this study is the type of research and development R&D (research and development) using a 4D model, consisting of the define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The sample in this study were undergraduate students of electrical engineering, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang who had taken practical housing installation courses. Based on the results of the study, the validity data obtained from the three validators, namely the first lecturer was very valid, the second lecturer was very valid, and the third lecturer was valid. So, the results obtained from the three lecturers can be categorized as very valid. The practicality test will be conducted by a lecturer in the electrical engineering department and 20 electrical engineering students who have taken practical housing installation courses. The practicality questionnaire filled out by the lecturers was stated to be very practical and the results from the respondents were very practical. The effectiveness test was carried out by testing the material using the Langlois Tae 1-3M trainer for 4 meetings with 4 different materials with 10 student participants. From the three tests, it can be concluded that the Langlois Tae 1-3M trainer jobsheet is very valid, practical and effective to be used as a supporting job sheet for housing installation practicum courses.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the application of online learning due to COVID-19, the implementation of academic activities in a pandami atmosphere at various universities eliminates face-to-face lectures and replaces them with online learning from home from various media. Jobsheet is a learning media for students to provide guidelines in completing a practicum. The purpose of this research is to develop jobsheets appropriate to use so as to improve the quality of the practicum lecture process and improve student understanding in mastering the lecture material. Types of research Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model consisting of Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Valid assessment jobsheet carried out by experts consisting of media experts and material experts, while practicality was assessed by lecturers and students, then for effectiveness seen from the results of practical learning when using jobsheet using Proteus 8 Professional software. The instrument collects data using a questionnaire. The results of this study were obtained jobsheets based on virtual laboratory based on media experts and material experts get valid categories. Practicality assessments assessed by course lecturers are categorized as very practical, then practicality assessments from students are categorized as very practical. Assessment of the effectiveness of the results of the practicum is categorized as effective. So that jobsheets developed can be used by lecturers to convey material in practical learning activities.

Abstract

Currently, COVID-19 is hitting Indonesia. This causes disruption of learning activities so that the implementation of learning is direct and transferred online or online. With such circumstances, a solution is needed so that learning and understanding of the material runs effectively and can be accessed anywhere by students one off which is by learning to use learning media with the mit app inverter application. The type of research used in this research is research and development with a 4D model namely define, design, develop, and distribute. The subjects in this study were class XI TITL 1 SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra students who were in the first semesters of the 2021/2022 academic year. Based on the test in this study, it was found that the validity value of the media assessed by the two validators obtained an average result of 85%w with a valid category. The practicality test based on the results of the teacher questionnaire responses was 81.11%i in the Very Practical category and the results of the question responses from 22 students with an average of 76% categorized as very practical. Int the effective test, the posttest results obtained with an average complete of 86%i in the effective category.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the application of online learning due to COVID-19, changes in the way of learning which resulted in the learning process that was originally carried out on campus into distance learning (online). Students who are accustomed to doing face-to-face learning must be faced with the reality of learning online through existing online media. To find out the ongoing online learning in the electrical engineering department of FT-UNP, one way that can be done is to evaluate the online learning that has taken place. This study aims to evaluate online learning in electrical circuit courses in the electrical engineering department of FT-UNP using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Input) evaluation model. This study uses qualitative research methods with descriptive evaluative data and data analysis according to Miles and Hubberman. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the Semester Lesson Plan used in online learning for electrical circuit courses using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Input) as a whole was appropriate. Based on interviews about the online learning process, the results showed that the evaluation of online learning for electrical circuit courses was effective for learning during the spread of COVID-19, so the learning was continued with preparation needed between students and lecturers regarding online learning procedures. From these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the learning process in the online electrical circuits course in the electrical engineering department, FT UNP, has been carried out well according to the Semester Learning Plan standards and the recommendations given in the electrical circuits course should be carried out in a blended learning manner to maximize analytic learning. calculations cannot be done online so the learning is carried out offline.

Abstract

Abstract— This research is based on the fact that in the Department of Industrial Electronics Engineering at SMKN 4 Serang City there is no learning media on robotic system controller subjects. On that basis, a line follower robot learning media was designed which is expected to overcome this problem. The learning media designed is in the form of a learning worksheet that contains 6 (six) jobs including how to assemble components, forward motion commands, backward motion, left turn motion, right turn motion and combination motion. The development of this jobsheet learning media uses a 4D research model which consists of 4 research steps, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The purpose of this study was to create media and a line follower robot learning worksheet, then also to determine the feasibility level of the media. Based on the feasibility test conducted on media experts, material experts and user tests covering several aspects such as the feasibility of content, appearance and language, it was found that the line follower robot learning jobsheet was "very feasible" to be used as a learning medium in robotic system controller subjects.
