Abstract

This study analyzes the quality of Information Technology (IT) services using the ITIL V.3 Service Operation framework in the Integrated Academic Service System (SIPATU) at the University of Muhammadiyah Riau. SIPATU is used as an administrative system and employee correspondence service at universities. However, the use of this website is not optimal due to the lack of assistance in operation and the lack of notification via email. ITIL V.3 is a framework for designing, developing, operating and improving IT services in enterprises. The research aims to evaluate the quality of IT services at SIPATU, ensuring IT supports business processes and resources with proper responsibility and risk management. The research objective is to provide a clear picture of the quality of IT services at SIPATU and to propose ideas for improving IT services in the tertiary environment. Through this analysis, it is expected to be able to identify the potential for improving the quality of IT services at SIPATU and formulate appropriate strategies. The conclusion of this research will provide guidance for universities and similar institutions in optimizing the use of IT services to support administrative efficiency and better services.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 forced institutions and companies to start improving the implementation of information technology to be able to compete well.The campus is one of the most massive sectors in the development and implementation of information technology.Because there are so many services and business processes that exist in the campus system.Campus business systems that are complex and have a lot of data in the information certainly pose a threat in the information technology security sector.Technological security must of course guarantee its confidentiality, integrity and availability. Countermeasures related to cybersecurity threats can be carried out by conducting a cyber security risk assessment.Standards for conducting cyber security assessments include COBIT 5, NIST, and ISO 20071. Each standard has audit modules that aim to make the institution a good government.NIST Cybersecurity Framework 1.1 is a standard used to direct organizations to cybersecurity activities and consider cybersecurity risks as part of their management process. The purpose of this study is to produce an assessment of campus cybersecurity risks using the NIST cybersecurity framework 1.1 as a standard reference.The overall result of the research, which is to produce, is the ranking of campus cyber risk assessments.The assessment of campus cyber security risks resulted in a value of 1.20, placing the campus institution in a "Partially Implemented" cybersecurity condition.Where campuses only carry out control on the framework as necessary and have not been documented, and so it needs to be improved regarding proper control and documentation to improve better cyber security.

Abstract

Twitter is one of the most widely used social media in Indonesia. As a form of social media, Twitter is widely used to express opinions/opinions, discuss specific issues, convey complaints or sentiments about a product, and political communication. Twitter user communication data can be processed into useful information for various purposes, so we need a way to process Twitter data. The development of information technology makes it possible to multiply this information so that it becomes valuable information. For example, Twitter data can be helpful for companies to profile consumers so that they can improve marketing efforts. In the political field, Twitter data can be used to find people who influence Twitter who can be used to assist the campaign process. In the legal area, this Twitter data can help analyze networks and the distribution of information related to hate speech and hoaxes. To analyze Twitter data, we need to convert it into a data graph to be explored further. Twitter data visualization into data graphs is done because there are differences in data formats. Twitter data is in the form of string data consisting of tweets reflecting user communication. The data graph is a collection of vertices and edges, denoted as Vertex represents Twitter users, and Edge represents user relationships or communication. This study aims to form a data graph based on Twitter data to facilitate the analysis of Twitter data for various interests.

Abstract

The performance assessment of teachers is a foundation or basis for the development decisions in terms of promotion and career of teachers in a madrasah or school. Currently, teacher performance assessment at Pondok Pesantren MTI Canduang is limited to teachers who are civil servants (PNS) or have obtained certification. In an effort to improve the quality of education, it is important to evaluate the performance of all teachers, including those who are not civil servants. The conventional method of assessment using paper-based evaluation sheets is considered inaccurate and inefficient due to the large number of teachers being assessed. Furthermore, there is no appropriate method for making decisions regarding teacher reward programs. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to apply the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method for teacher performance assessment. This method aims to provide a basis for decision-making in recommending teachers who deserve rewards in each assessment period. Based on the test results using the MAUT method with 40 teacher data and 12 defined assessment criteria, it was found that 3 data points for Tsanawiyah level had the highest value of 0.797 and the lowest value of 0.332, while 3 data points for Aliyah level had the highest value of 0.874 and the lowest value of 0.386. Thus, the research results can help the madrasah determine the best alternatives according to predefined criteria and weights. The resulting web-based application can facilitate the assessment process by making it easier, faster, and more accurate.

Abstract

The minutes of the meeting are recordings made as a conclusion of the discussions that take place in the meeting process, while the appointment of officials is the assignment of duties to officials in accordance with their respective fields. The current recordings of the minutes of the meeting are still done manually; the minutes are recorded closely at the meeting and are stored in the archive of the notes until they are stacked and vulnerable to damage. The current staff assignment is still done manually by the chief of the service, who makes the staff appointment letter, then prints the staff assignments and gives them to the staff through the staff and general officers department, so it will take quite a long time. The methods used in the minutes of the meeting and the appointment of staff are prototype methods where data collection techniques are used, including interviews and observations, whereas the design methods in this design are described as using case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. The objective of the research is to transform the manual system into a web-based system that can be accessed online as well as to provide ease in managing the minutes of meetings and staff appointments at the Food Plant and Horticulture Service.

Abstract

Technology is developing very quickly, as is happening in the field of transportation. Currently, transportation has begun to develop with the presence of various online-based transportation. One type of transportation that is widely used is the online motorcycle taxi application called Maxim. This online transportation service is one of the topics that is starting to be widely discussed via Twitter social media. By knowing these sentiments, users can determine whether the online transportation service provider is well received or not. The method used in this research is using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The aim of this research is to conduct sentiment analysis of public responses regarding online transportation services, namely Maxim. Based on the research results, in evaluation testing, the accuracy results are obtained, namely for negative sentiment getting 87% precision, 74% recall, and 80% f1-score. Meanwhile, positive sentiments get 80% precision, 90% recall, and 85% f1-score. The sentiment results are dominated by positive sentiment, which is as many as 616 data.

Abstract

The limited number of air quality sensors causes the presentation of Air Quality Index information to be not optimal. In principle, the installation of Air Quality Index sensors can provide input in air quality control and monitoring policies in an area. However, some places that have the potential to become local tourism or gathering places such as around the railroad crossing area do not have air quality sensors installed. Wind speed when trains pass can cause dust to scatter. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct further studies related to air quality around railroad crossings. Therefore, this research proposes to analyze and monitor air quality around railroad crossings in the Special Region of Yogyakarta based on the Internet of Things. In this study, the installed sensors functioned to monitor air quality at 3 locations that have different characteristics so that the data generated is also different. Based on the PM25 sensor, the air quality is categorized as Good 50% and Moderate 50%, while the PM10 sensor is categorized as Good 80% and Moderate 30%. The Internet of Things sensor built in this study is still not integrated in its recording between wind speed and air quality.

Abstract

In developing a software application design, it is often done without first observing the user. So the result often causes many problems. Inappropriate design of the interface and user experience will cause problems in the application after it is created. User interface and user experience are two things that are very important and cannot be separated. How easy or difficult it is to use a product will of course also have a big influence on the user's experience when they use the product. Using design thinking in creating a product can have a big influence on the UI/UX process. In designing the WorkerLife website, the author used the design thinking method as a solution to solve problems faced by users and carried out usability testing and assessment using SUS (System Usability Scale). When testing website designs. A score of 77.58 was obtained with a good rating so that the design has been successfully created and users do not experience confusion or difficulties when running the website design prototype.

Abstract

Archiving is essential in managing a collection of documents. Although archiving is now available in a web-based form, there are still agencies that use letter archives in a conventional way. This study was made to develop a web-based letter archive application for one of the government institutions in Medan, i.e. the Secretariat of the North Sumatra DPRD. This study uses two types of methods, namely research methods and system development methods. The research method used is a qualitative method with a research design in the form of observation and literature study. In addition, the system development method used is rapid application development (RAD). In addition, to design the application, researchers used XAMPP software to create MySQL as the database, JavaScript, PHP and Visual Studio Code as the programming language, as well as HTML and CSS to organize the web display. After that, the application is tested with the black box testing method. The results show that overall the features on the user function properly.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to design and build a decision support system (DSS) for recipients of the house renovation program to help determine potential recipients of the house renovation program in Maliwowo Village more effectively and efficiently. This system uses a simple additive weighting (SAW) decision support system method. The system created was designed using the development of Unifed Modeling Language (UML) which consists of use case diagrams, activity diagrams and sequence diagrams. The software used in designing this system uses the PHP programming language, Laravel framework, XAMPP as the web server, PHPMySQL as the database. This research produces a decision support system consisting of various features that can be used to determine recipients of a home surgery program where data management can only be done by admins and officers. From the results of the Likert scale interval percentage questionnaire calculations in this study, respondents strongly agreed with this system.
