Abstract

The Support Vector Machine algorithm is a method in supervised learning which is usually used for classifications such as Support Vector Classification and support Vector Regression regression. In this study the SVM algorithm was used in the classification of student data profiles at the Batam Institute of Technology, which can be used as material for consideration in determining and considering decisions to make an effective destination strategy promotion.

Abstract

This study aims to increase interest in learning Geometry Mathematics through learning media using games or games in class VIII students of SMPN 3 Tanggul, Jember Regency. The existence of educational games is expected to be a medium for learning mathematics that is not boring and easy to understand. The system development method used in this study is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). To make the game interesting, the Finite State Machine method is added to make smart enemies and characters more interesting, fun and the game is made using Construct 2. Testing is done in two ways, namely testing the application system with a black box and testing the feasibility of the application by distributing questionnaires. From the results of software testing using a black box that with black box testing this application system can run well. While the questionnaire testing is based on the Likert scale categories, the results obtained from media experts and material experts got an average score of 3.92 in the good category and 4.57 in the very good category. The results of testing individual students get results between 2.6 - 4.6 in the good - very good category. While the overall test gets an average of 3.9 in the good category.

Abstract

The Fitness Center is a sports facility that provides a variety of sports equipment. Typically, fitness centers offer membership packages to their visitors and manually check the membership status of visitors each time they come to the fitness center. This is the basic motivation for this research, to build a system where membership packages are automatically checked. The Internet of Things (IoT) facilitates fitness center owners in managing member data and controlling who is allowed to enter the fitness area. This research utilizes RFID technology with the MFRC522 module as an access control for the fitness room, and Raspberry Pi as a microprocessor to process RFID data using Python. Member data can be managed in a web-based application using the MERN stack, as it is a popular combination for modern web application development. The research method used is Research and Development, where extensive research is initially conducted on the requirements and design of this system. Then, the implementation process is carried out both from the application side and the devices used. The research resulted in an IoT-based smart door lock system that can automatically check the membership status of visitors using RFID technology as access control. This system is IoT-based, allowing member data to be managed anywhere through the application as long as the Raspberry Pi and the device running the application are connected to the internet. The response time of this device in processing data on RFID cards/tags is an average of 177,44ms from the 60 cards/tags tested. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the built RFID smart door lock system is functioning well.

Abstract

Buku adalah sumber pengetahuan dan informasi yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang berbagai topik. Siswa seringkali kesulitan dalam menemukan buku yang sesuai dengan preferensi yang diinginkan siswa karena kurangnya informasi mengenai berbagai jenis buku. Salah satu cara mengelola informasi ini adalah melalui penggunaan sistem rekomendasi. Sistem rekomendasi telah terbukti efektif dalam mengatasi jumlah informasi yang tersedia dan memberikan rekomendasi buku sesuai dengan keinginan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat dan mengembangkan sistem yang dapat memberikan rekomendasi buku kepada siswa berdasarkan minat mereka dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Data buku yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 517 data buku yang berasal dari perpustakaan SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Sukodadi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah content-based filtering. Untuk melakukan pembobotan dan menghitung tingkat kemiripan antar data buku, peneliti menggunakan algoritma TF-IDF dan cosine similarity untuk mengukur tingkat kemiripan antara vektor A dan vektor B. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sistem yang telah dibangun, sistem ini mampu memberikan rekomendasi berdasarkan tingkat kemiripan antar buku dengan menghasilkan nilai pembobotan cosine similarity sebesar 0,358. Angka tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan yang dilakukan oleh sistem berhasil dan memberikan rekomendasi yang sesuai dengan perhitungan skor menggunakan metode cosine similarity.

Abstract

This research paper explores the use of the AdaBoost algorithm for predicting residential habitation status in the aftermath of the Mount Merapi eruption. Using a dataset from the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Task Force, with 2516 instances and 11 attributes, the AdaBoost model was trained and evaluated. The model demonstrated a robust performance with an accuracy of 92%, though it struggled with correctly identifying all 'No Habited' instances. These findings underscore the potential of machine learning algorithms in disaster management, particularly in optimizing resource allocation and expediting recovery times. Future research should aim to improve the model's performance on imbalanced datasets and explore the incorporation of temporal dimensions for more dynamic and accurate predictions.

Abstract

The development of technology helps humans to communicate with each other. The rapid development of technology has led to the birth of many new media platforms. As technology advances in this digital era. The existence of information technology has a great impact on human civilization. One form is the use of social media. However, the ease of sharing information through social media has not escaped abuse by its users. One form of abuse is cyberbullying carried out on social media, especially Twitter. The 2018 Internet Penetration and Internet User Behavior Survey in Indonesia published by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) shows that 49 percent of internet users have experienced bullying in the form of ridicule or harassment on social media. In this regard, sentiment analysis was carried out through social media twitter to measure the accuracy value using the SVM (support vector machine) algorithm. Sentiment analysis by crawling twitter data as many as 1000 tweet data in Indonesian using the RapidMiner tool. And this classification with SVM (Support Vector Machine) algorithm gets an accuracy of 92% by testing at 80:20 proportion, which is 80% training data and 20% testing data. Of the 998 data that have been preprocessed, 625 data on the positive class and 374 data on the negative class have been obtained.

Abstract

In recent years, there has been an increasing popularity of the micro frontend architecture due to its implementation by large companies such as IKEA, Starbucks, and Amazon. Due to its characteristics that similar to microservices, this architecture started to be implemented by various companies to improve their developer experience. However, this architecture has some issues, one of which is the performance of page load time. The objective of this research is to find and determine the best practices for optimizing the page load time of micro frontend applications and to identify the challenge involved. The research is conducted by implementing optimization techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, tree shaking, minification, and utility modules to micro frontend website. After that, the website is tested with a sample size of 200 which determined by using Lemeshow formula. The research is conducted in both local and server environments using the Google Chrome browser and used "fully loaded" metric. The research use a simple Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application consisting of five micro frontends built with React, Vue, and Angular frameworks. The experimental results show that implementing all of the optimization techniques on all micro frontends can improve the application's page load time performance by 31.79% in the local and 47.5% in the server environment.

Abstract

Perkembangan Sistem Informasi Geografis telah membawa banyak manfaat, salah satunya pada bidang jasa pengiriman. Jasa pengiriman barang adalah layanan yang menyediakan sarana untuk mengangkut dan mengantarkan barang dari satu lokasi ke lokasi lain. PT Grand Anugerah Surya merupakan suatu perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang jasa khususnya pengiriman barang untuk daerah Kabupaten Asahan dan sekitarnya. Sistem yang berjalan saat ini belum adanya sistem untuk melacak sampai dimana keberadaan paket yang dikirim yang menyebabkan tidak adanya integrasi yang baik sehingga informasi yang diterima tidak lengkap atau tidak up to date di setiap tahap proses pengiriman. Sampai saat ini customer kesulitan untuk melihat atau memantau sampai sejauh mana barang yang dikirimkan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, perusahaan penyedia jasa pengiriman harus melakukan perbaikan teknis, meningkatkan integrasi sistem, memastikan keamanan data, dan meningkatkan layanan customer untuk memberikan informasi yang akurat dan tepat waktu kepada customer. Dengan menerapkan sistem informasi geografis berbasis web pada PT Grand Anugerah Surya yang mana sistem informasi geografis ini dapat di akses oleh pengirim dan penerima untuk mengetahui status keberadaan paket dengan memasukkan nomor resi dan sistem akan memberitahu keberadaan atau lokasi paket. Dan sistem informasi geografis dapat memudahkan kurir untuk mencari alamat karena alamat penerima menjadi lebih akurat.

Abstract

Sistem inventory barang adalah sistem yang digunakan untuk input data persediaan barang ke dalam database. PT. Indofarma Global Medika (IGM) adalah perusahaan farmasi yang fokus pada distribusi obat dan perbekalan kesehatan. PT. IGM dalam pengelolaan data persedian barang masih dengan cara lama, yaitu masih mencatat data barang secara manual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang sebuah sistem inventory barang berbasis web untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan inventory dan mengoptimalkan operasional perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, dan implementasi teknologi informasi. Pertama, dilakukan analisis sesuai kebutuhan inventory barang yang diinginkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dilakukan perancangan sistem inventory barang yang mencakup modul penerimaan barang, penyimpanan, pengiriman, pengawasan stok, dan pemantauan permintaan pelanggan. Selama perancangan sistem, diperhatikan juga integrasi dengan sistem manajemen yang sudah ada di perusahaan. Tujuannya menciptakan sistem yang terhubung dan terintegrasi secara efisien. Setelah merancang sistem inventory barang, dilakukan implementasi teknologi informasi. Selain itu, dilakukan juga uji coba dan evaluasi untuk memastikan bahwa sistem bekerja dengan baik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan. Sistem ini juga dapat memberikan informasi yang akurat dan real-time kepada manajemen perusahaan, sehingga keputusan terkait inventory dapat diambil dengan lebih baik dan cepat.

Abstract

Employee attendance is an important activity for the company because it can affect the amount of revenue. In implementing the recording procedure, this attendance requires accuracy in order to produce a good attendance report. PT GlobalRiau Data Solution (GDS) is a company or industry that provides Internet connections and other related services. GDS has a communication infrastructure connected to the Internet, where GDS then shares its network connection capacity with customers who need network connection services. Previously, attendance at PT.GDS was carried out manually within the company, but this manual process had many obstacles, including manipulation of attendance even with ineffective data storage. Therefore, the research aims to design a website-based attendance system or attendance recording using the waterfall method so that it can improve the attendance process to be more efficient. Web technology is used because it offers advantages, such as being able to work on any system as long as there is an internet connection and does not require a computer with a high capacity to run a web application while the use of the waterfall method is applied sequentially and systematically. The waterfall method begins design to maintenance and is implemented in stages.
