Abstract

The use of the Internet is not a new thing for today's young generation. Social media is scrambling to attract consumers' interest, starting from attractive features, as a media for promotion, as a forum for communication gatherings within groups, to providing useful information in the form of photos, writings and videos. The use of the internet has become a basic need for students so that more internet users come from among students. But unfortunately the younger generation has not been able to use the internet wisely, so we can see various cases that have befallen students regarding the use of social media to drag them into the realm of law. Social media, which initially had the benefit of imparting knowledge, has become an arena for showing off and a venue for spilling inappropriate sentences and words to each other. The increasing prevalence of violations committed by students has prompted the government to issue the ITE (Information and Electronic Transactions) Law. Today's students do not fully understand these laws, so we, from the STMIK Budi Darma Community service team, provide counseling on the Implementation of Law no 19 of 2016 at Christian 1 Medan Private Middle School which aims to make students understand these laws and be wiser in using the internet.

Abstract

The leadership potential of students who are members of the Campus Da'wah Institute (LDK) organization already exists within them, but in reality the lack of motivation from the surrounding environment causes the leadership spirit of the LDK administrators to not be honed. However, it is not enough from a mental perspective that needs to be addressed. This also requires a strong spiritual soul, so that the mental and spiritual aspects of students can work together. So with the socialization of service activities to Deputy Chairperson III for Student Affairs and LDK chairman Al Hayyan, it can train administrators in improving performance in building this LDK organization so that it is more advanced and has extraordinary motivation. In youth, if you do not have a leadership attitude, you will be displaced and left behind by other people in the organization. Organizations need leadership. The progress and decline of the organization depends on the attitude of its leaders in leading this organization. Thus the inculcation of leadership spirit is very important in order to grow a sense of independence and the emergence of a sense of responsibility for himself, the nation and state organizations

Abstract

In this community service activity we are developing an internet network that will be used by schools in rural areas, one of the areas in Stabat City in building this internet network we use the ubnt antenna which is reliable in spreading signals in the countryside and our goal is to build an internet network in the village, namely to help the community in obtaining information that is currently very fast and the obstacles that the surrounding community has are very difficult to connect to the internet network after the team pays attention to the problem because of the large number of palm trees that make it very difficult to get a signal in the village and even the school when the school is very fast. The obstacle that the village has is that the signal in the village is not up to 2 bars so that the surrounding community is very difficult to connect to the internet network after the team noticed the problem because of the large number of palm trees which made the signal very difficult to get by local residents and even schools currently have difficulty in the learning process, let alone accessing dapodik owned by the school which must be connected to the internet network.
