Abstract

The objective of the article writing training provided to the members of Hima Prodi Communication Science, K. Pangandaran Unpad, is to enhance the quality of the website content managed by Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi K. Pangandaran Unpad. The website currently does not have any official contributors, hence the quantity and quality of the content is still lacking. This article will discuss the article writing training process, from the creation of the articles to the management of the website with the latest content, in order to promote important information for the academic community. The methods used to achieve this goal include group coordination, coverage of activities, material presentation, mentoring, and publication of articles. The result of this activity is the continuity of the website through the publication of articles or press releases created by the members of Hima Ilmu Komunikasi K. Pangandaran Universitas Padjadjaran via the Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi K. Pangandaran website. Moreover, through this training, the writing skills of the students will improve over time through frequent coverage and article writing for the website.

Abstract

Today's business competition requires every business actor to have e-commerce as a promotional or trade media so that it opens up a wide market share. This service aims to create e-commerce for Yudharta advertising and press as a media for sales promotion. The e-commerce that will be made is product sales from yudharta advertising and press including sales of ISBN books published by yudharta press. The service is carried out for one week, the implementation process is divided into three stages, namely the FDG process, gathering information, mentoring, and launching the program. The result of the dedication is the availability of e-commerce as a promotional media marketplace in increasing sales and opening up a wider market share

Abstract

Mangunsari Village is a Village located in Gunungpati District, Semarang City. Most of the women from the PKK group in Mangunsari, Gunungpati, Semarang, mostly work as farmers and factory workers during the day. There needs to be an increase in the skills of the women of the PKK Group, Mangunsari Gunungpati Village, Semarang, one of which is the skill of making egg tofu. Egg Tofu is one of the processed tofu products made from soybean extract and chicken eggs which has a high nutritional content. Making egg tofu besides using soy milk is mixed with eggs, using an optimal percentage of eggs is needed to produce good quality egg tofu products. The addition of a high percentage of eggs can increase the nutritional value of egg tofu. Training Provision of skills in making Egg Tofu can increase knowledge of new business analysis which can increase family income. Partners before the implementation of the service answered 77.27% did not know, understand and had never made egg tofu, on the contrary 27.73% who answered had eaten egg tofu, whereas after carrying out this activity the PKK group mothers answered 100% had liked, understood and knew how to make egg tofu. The egg tofu making training is expected to inspire parents to innovate in making practical, easy to make, attractive food and can be a business opportunity that can increase family income.

Abstract

Learning mathematics at the elementary school level requires media that can bridge students’ understanding of abstract material. Through the media, students can make mathematics material acceptable. This activity aims to improve the skills of teachers in using manipulative media in mathematics learning material measurement. This activity target is the teachers at State Elementary School Number 78 South Bengkulu with 15 teachers. The activity stages consist of three stages, preparation, training implementation, and evaluation. Teacher skills were observed using pedagogic tests and teacher response questionnaires. The result of this activity is the improvement of teacher skills, the average skill is 67.50 and the teacher's response is in the high category. This activity suggests that the teacher conveys mathematics material in class using media to bridge students in mastering concepts.

Abstract

The need arises as a human effort to survive. In Indonesia, there is no epidemiological data regarding LBP. Sitting for a long time without rest can have an impact on the spinal structure due to the biomechanical processes that occur in the spine. Observations made on several pregnant women who worked as weavers in Batu Mekar Village found that they sat for a long time so that their basic needs were not met. This causes pain in the back. the emphasis is on information through education for someone with a chronic illness so that they have positive thoughts and suggestions about their health condition so that a person's quality of life is good and the expected results are also optimal. The parties involved in this activity were STIKES Yarsi Mataram (lecturers, students), village officials (village head, village secretary), cadres and the community. The method used in this activity is counseling and followed by discussion. Counseling is expected to increase the knowledge of pregnant women to meet the basic needs of pregnant women. Implementation of activities carried out in places that have been agreed with the target participants are pregnant women as many as 30 people. The counseling material provided includes material on meeting the basic needs of pregnant women. The discussion was carried out after the presentation of the material was completed. Participants asked about material that they had not understood about meeting the basic needs of pregnant women. Counseling has proven to be effective in increasing understanding of meeting the basic needs of pregnant women and efforts to prevent back pain, with an increase in score of as much as 30 (from 50 to 80).
