Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the socioeconomic status of the Arabika coffee industry in Agung Lawangan district in Pagaralam city. This research is a study cualitative that uses purposive sampling. Data is gathered by observation. The results of the social and economic analysis of education indicate that the average of education for coffe farmer arabika education farmer has the ability to understand complex information such as the price of kopi arabika, government subsidy programs, technical assistance, and follow in the classroom to increase production, reduce risk, and minimize losses due to fluctuations in prices, bad weather, or other pest. Family Responsibillity coffe farmer arabika has five people, as well as the responsibillity in the largest category, can be used to reduce the dependence worker from the outside family activities. It is possible to reduce the cost of labor and maybe increase earnings. Arabica coffee farmer working hours varies since only two petani do not have sampingan usahatani, while five other respondents, in addition to focusing on arabica coffe, also devoted time to farming and the others. On the other hand, income In Kelurahan Agung Lawangan, in Pagaralam city arabica farmer is included in the category of mid. Income If the minimum wage regional (UMR) value in Pagaralam city is Rp 3.456.874, then the farmer coffe arabica pay is higher than that of Palembang minimum wage (UMP) Pagralam city, and it can be said that it has better access to public services like health and education

Abstract

Production management is an activity to organize and coordinate the use of human resources, tools and materials, effectively and efficiently to create and increase the usefulness of a good or service. The phenomenon of entrepreneurial development, now many entrepreneurs choose the culinary business compared to other businesses because humans need food ingredients at all times. Spring roll skin is a thin sheet made from wheat flour, water, salt and eggs. Rollie Snack is a food ingredient made from spring roll skin. Rollie Snack has product characteristics with a sweet and spicy taste, on the outside it has a crispy and soft texture. The purpose of this study is to describe the production process of Rollie Snack, identify product variants, prices, sales volume of Rollie Snack and analyze management functions (planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling). Rollie Snack business activities are centered in a production house in Panakkukang District, Makassar City, South Sulawesi. This business activity has been going on for 2 (two) years. The results of the study show that the Snacks MSME has implemented production management according to the business plan. The production process goes through several stages, namely forming spring roll skins, drying the skins, frying, making chocolate, vanilla, green tea, and spicy lime leaf flavor variants and mixing spring roll skins with flavor variants. Finally, it produces "Rollie Snack" products with four flavor variants, namely chocolate, vanilla, green tea, and spicy lime leaf.

Abstract

The advancement of science and technology has contributed to an increased consumer awareness regarding the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle. Currently, trend towards healthier living is developing among consumers, with a growing interest in organic products, such as rice. Despite the rising awareness of healthy food, the high price of organic products often affect the consumers in consuming organic rice. Furthermore, the limited availability of organic rice also plays a significant role in restricting its consumption. This study was conducted to estimate consumers' WTP for organic rice. Through WTP analysis, this research endeavors to measure the extent to which consumers are willing to pay a premium for organic rice. The research was carried out at Superindo in Gresik, involving 51 respondents The research data were analyzed using the CVM. Three types of rice were subjected to WTP analysis: white organic rice, brown organic rice, and black organic rice. The WTP values for white, brown, and black organic rice were obtained as follows: Rp. 38,315.5/kg, Rp. 42,069/kg, and Rp. 49,463/kg, respectively. The differences in consumers' WTP for white, brown, and black organic rice are generally influenced by consumers' perceptions of the health benefits associated with each type of rice.

Abstract

Marketing is a company's function of creating, communicating, and delivering value to customers in order to manage mutually beneficial customer relationships. Entrepreneurship in the culinary sector holds great promise for a region's economic growth by creating jobs and increasing its competitiveness. Snack businesses offer good prospects for development because they don't require large capital but offer high demand. This study aims to describe online and offline product marketing and formulate a marketing mix strategy (product, price, promotion, and distribution) to increase sales volume. This research is a case study of a home industry in Makassar City, as part of the implementation of a business plan. The results show that during snack product marketing activities, the company focused on using online marketing strategies through social media platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook. Online marketing successfully reached a wider consumer base, built the brand, and presented the product with attractive visual content. Digital product, pricing, distribution, and promotion strategies were implemented through discounts and free shipping. Offline marketing utilized word-of-mouth and recommendations from colleagues/friends, who served as sources of information for consumers.

Abstract

Studi ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kinerja sistem agribisnis padi semi organik yang diterapkan di Kecamatan Seputih Raman, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Penilaian kinerja sistem agribisnis padi semi organik mencakup beberapa subsistem, yaitu pengadaan sarana produksi, usahatani, pengolahan, pemasaran, serta jasa layanan penunjang. Pelaksanaan studi berlangsung selama periode September hingga Desember 2024. Metode studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan partisipasi 40 petani yang menjadi anggota dan mitra Perkumpulan Poktan (PP) Gapsera Sejahtera Mandiri, pengelola pabrik penggilingan dan pedagang pengecer. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah indeks sistem agribisnis. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, kinerja sistem agribisnis padi semi organik di Kecamatan Seputih Raman, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, sudah berjalan baik, dengan skor 12,64 dari skor maksimal 16,40 (77,11%). Kinerja sistem agribisnis padi semi organik ini telah menunjukkan kinerja yang baik pada beberapa subsistem, yaitu pengadaan sarana produksi, usahatani, pengolahan, dan jasa layanan penunjang, tetapi kinerja subsistem pemasaran dinilai masih belum baik.

Abstract

Ketahanan pangan rumah tangga di Indonesia merupakan isu penting yang berpengaruh langsung terhadap kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan masyarakat, terutama bagi rumah tangga dengan pendapatan rendah. Salah satu faktor yang dapat memperburuk ketahanan pangan adalah kebiasaan konsumsi rokok, yang sering kali mengalihkan anggaran rumah tangga dari kebutuhan pangan ke konsumsi rokok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh konsumsi rokok terhadap ketahanan pangan rumah tangga petani di Desa Kedungdowo, Kecamatan Arjasa, Kabupaten Situbondo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara purposive. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 30 orang petani yang merokok, yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara (in-depth interview) dengan menggunakan kuisioner food recall untuk memperoleh data terkait pola konsumsi pangan dan pengeluaran rumah tangga Analisis ketahanan pangan meliputi tiga indikator utama, yaitu: (1) proporsi pengeluaran pangan terhadap pengeluaran total rumah tangga, (2) angka kecukupan gizi yang mencakup total asupan rumah tangga dibandingkan dengan rekomendasi kecukupan energi, dan (3) tingkat kecukupan energi dalam konsumsi pangan rumah tangga. Berdasarkan analisis ini, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar rumah tangga petani di Desa Kedungdowo mengalami kerawanan pangan. Hasil analisis ketahanan pangan menunjukkan bahwa 26,7% rumah tangga petani dalam kondisi tahan pangan, 46,6% rumah tangga petani berada dalam kondisi krisis pangan dan 26,7% rumah tangga petani berada dalam kondisi rentan pangan. Hasil analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi rokok berpengaruh positif terhadap proporsi pengeluaran pangan rumah tangga. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa setiap kenaikan pengeluaran untuk konsumsi rokok sebesar Rp 1 akan mengurangi proporsi pengeluaran pangan sebesar Rp 2.461.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis berbagai faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap tingkat determinan produksi petani kopi arabika di wilayah Karo, Sumatera Utara. Faktor-faktor yang dianalisis meliputi varietas kopi, tinggi tempat penanaman, manajemen perkebunan, teknik panen seta penyimpanan, pengolahan dan penyortiran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian regresi linier, uji validitas dan uji realibitas. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan ekplanatory survey dengan kusioner yang terdiri dari 3 kelompok tani di masing-masing Kabupaten yang berjumlah 175 sampel yang semuanya merupakan petani kopi di wilayah yang menjadi objek penelitian. Serta 20 orang pedagang pengepul. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari lima faktor determinan produksi yang dianalisis, varietas kopi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan nyata terhadap determinan produksi kopi. Selain varietas kopi, faktor-faktor lain seperti tinggi tempat penanaman, manajemen perkebunan, teknik panen seta penyimpanan, pengolahan dan penyortiran. juga berpengaruh terhadap determinan produksi.

Abstract

Marketing performance is the output of all efforts and marketing strategies that have been carried out by entrepreneurs. Knowing the marketing strategy and performance, will be very useful as a basis for evaluation and business development in the future. This study aims to: 1) analyzing the marketing performance of Chickenesia frozen crispy chicken products in Makassar City and 2) evaluating the marketing performance of Chickenesia frozen crispy chicken products. The approach method uses experiential learning method. Quantitative descriptive data analysis based on entrepreneurial prototypes to describe marketing performance. The results showed that the measurement of marketing performance using marketing metrics. Marketing costs in the January-March 2025 period, amounted to Rp 1,152,750, a profitability value of Rp 376,900, and the highest return on sales value in the super special package, which is 90%. The development of marketing strategies through business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) approaches has given positive results to sales turnover, because it is able to reach all consumer segments that are the target market. Entrepreneurship activities provide benefits for the development of the ability to analyze markets and competitors, soft skills development, and communication skills.

Abstract

Agriculture plays an important role in the economic development of rural communities because most community members in Indonesia depend on the agricultural sector. The agricultural sector until now, still gets the main priority in driving development. With the development of horticulture in vegetable commodities, there is an increase in public concern for health. Tomato production often fluctuates and the main factor that causes a decrease and fluctuation in tomato production is due to high production risk factors, besides that farmers also have financial problems that have an impact on farm income. The purpose of this study was to determine the production and financial risks to tomato farm income in Berastagi District, Karo Regency. The research method combines qualitative and quantitative approaches reinforced by taking questionnaires to farmers using structural equation modelling data analysis with 57 farmers. The results showed that production risk had a moderate effect on tomato farm income and finance had a large effect on tomato farm income.

Abstract

Serdang Bedagai is the largest organic rice producing district in Sumatra Utara. The largest producer of organic rice in North Sumatra Province, the increase in production of organic rice in Serdang Bedagai Regency is directly proportional to the increase in organic rice land area. Increased consumer demand for organic rice does not mean that farmers get greater profits, because there are several market players in the process of distributing organic rice to consumers. The purpose of this study is to determine the pattern of marketing marketing channels, marketing functions, profit margins received by each marketing actor as well as Farmer's Share. and Farmer's Share of the organic rice supply chain in Serdang Bedagai Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative analysis approach with a snowball sampling method. The results of this study found that there are four patterns of organic rice marketing channels in Serdang Bedagai Regency. The functions of organic rice marketing institutions in Serdang Bedagai Regency consist of the functions of buying, selling, drying, milling, weighing, packaging and transport. In channel 1 there is no marketing margin, because farmers directly sell organic rice to consumers with the Farmer's, share value of 100%. In marketing channel 2, the marketing margin of Rp. 7,000/Kg with a Farmer's Share value of 48.1%. In marketing channel 3, the marketing margin is Rp. 2,500/Kg with a Farmer's Share value of Share value of 40.6%, and in marketing channel 4 the marketing margin is Rp. 4,500/Kg with a Farmer's Share value of 36.1%.
