Abstract

Lately, there have been numerous efforts of religious preaching conducted by speakers without adhering to the principles of moderation. The aim of this research is to explore the activities of religious moderate preaching by Ustadz Hanan Attaki through the YouTube platform, utilizing a qualitative approach and library research method. Applying Teun A. van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis theory, this study collects and analyzes data from documented preaching videos on the YouTube social media platform. The research problem formulation includes examining the conceptualization of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's preaching and the reinforcement of religious moderation in his preaching, especially for the millennial generation. The research findings demonstrate Hanan Attaki's success in reaching the younger generation with relevant religious messages through his distinctive language style and strong audio-visual support. Respectful communication and active participation in religious discussions are also observed, fostering an open dialogue environment. Hanan Attaki's moderate stance is reflected in balance, self-awareness, and a focus on goodness, with an emphasis on religious values. In the context of spiritual recovery, moderation is highlighted through balance, self-acceptance, and belief in gradual progress. The promoted religious moderation involves prioritizing positive values, embracing diversity, rejecting extremism, and guiding thoughts towards cultured development in line with Islamic teachings. This research provides insights into Hanan Attaki's contribution in responding to the dynamics of preaching in the digital era with a smart, moderate, and relevant approach.

Abstract

This research aims to explain K.H. Abu Dardiri is an inspirational figure for the Muhammadiyah Association in Purbalingga Regency with a historical approach. The sub-discussion in this research consists of, the history of the founding of Muhammadiyah in Purbalingga Regency, the life history of K.H. Abu Dardiri, The legacy and progress of K.H. Abu Dardiri in Purbalingga Regency, and the exemplary role of K.H. Abu Dardiri as an inspirational figure for the Muhammadiyah Association in Purbalingga Regency.. The method used by researchers in compiling this research is the historical method. A brief conclusion to this research is, K.H. During his lifetime, Abu Dardiri gave many dedications to the people and nation, especially to the Muhammadiyah Association. When Muhammadiyah Purbalingga was first founded, he was elected chairman. The success of the Muhammadiyah Association in Purbalingga Regency cannot be separated from its successors who inherited the spirit and militancy of K.H. Abu Dardiri as an inspirational figure.

Abstract

This research examines Nursi's conceptualization of God and Nature as a critical response to Atheism and Naturalism. In their view, nature is an independent and self-operating system, so God has no place in the mechanism of nature. This view is inseparable from the secularism, materialism, positivism and scientism they uphold. Answering this problem, Said Nursi, an Islamic scholar, tried to respond to the concept of God and Nature that was not in accordance with Islam, even the view actually degraded nature itself as God's creation. This study employs a qualitative approach and utilizes the critical analysis methodology, with the primary source of reference being Risalah Nur. The findings of the article reveal that Atheism and Naturalism have a false understanding of nature and God. In Nursi's view, nature depends on God and does not work alone. Said Nursi has also developed a theological understanding of nature, arguing that the existence of God can be inferred from the birth of the universe. Nursi revealed that the universe is a great book and a marvellous work of God's art, it is like a mirror that reflects the beauty of its Creator. Nursi said that proving God's existence makes more sense than the arguments that reject His existence.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to describe the relationship between ethics and politics from Al Farabi's perspective in Islamic educational philosophy. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this research is based on library research, namely the process of systematically identifying findings and analyzing documents containing information related to the research problem. Al-Farabi was one of the early philosophers who was concerned with the concept of ethics. AlFarabi is the successor of al-Kindi's intellectual tradition, but his competence, creativity, freedom of thought and level of sophistication are even higher. The book Ara Ahl Al-Madinah Al-Fadhilah leads to a discussion of politics, but the essence of both is actually to talk about ethics, namely state ethics so that a nation can become an ideal nation and in accordance with the Islamic vision. The final goal, namely societal happiness or social happiness, will be realized.

Abstract

Given the numerous cases of intolerance in recent years, it is necessary to examine the root causes of such incidents, particularly in Indonesia. Despite the government's comprehensive efforts through its moderation movement to promote peace amidst diversity, the campaign is perceived as still relying on traditional paradigms, reaching only a portion of the population. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to outline the values of tolerance derived from the bee's mindset and how they can be applied as a strategy to filter out intolerance in Indonesia, based on an Islamic perspective. The research methodology employed in this study is literature review. The findings indicate that bee-like mentalities are considered relevant for filtering out intolerance, as bees consistently strive to maintain harmony, foster mutually beneficial cooperation, cultivate inner peace, and learn from history to avoid future intolerance. The implementation strategy involves developing an attitude of mutual respect and collaboration among religious communities, promoting freedom of worship, recognizing equality, and revitalizing philosophical values in each region.

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Kemadohbatur sudah menanamkan sikap toleransi sejak zaman dahulu, mereka hidup berdampingan di tengah perbedaan agama dengan mengedepankan sikap menghargai dan menghormati, sehingga terbentuknya kerukunan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Artikel ini bertujuan unuk meneliti tentang bagaimana model toleransi umat agama Katolik dan Islam di Desa Kemadohbatur Kecamatang Tawanghajo Kabupaten Grobogan dalam hidup berdampingan di tengah perbedaan agama. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan yaitu Kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan Fenomenologi. Data dari penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan kepala desa, tokoh agama dari masing-masing agama, dan beberapa warga yang memiliki peran penting dalam terbentuknya toleransi antar umat beragama di Desa Kemadohbatur. Hasil dari riset ini menemukan beberapa model toleransi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat yaitu, ikut sertanya umat Kristiani dalam acara halalbihalal yang dilakukan oleh umat Islam, Umat Islam ikut mengiringi musik dalam acara Natal, sikap sosial yang tinggi dari kedua umat beragama dan sikap kebersamaan dari kedua umat beragama. Adanya model toleransi yang unik yang dilakukan oleh dua agama yang berbeda sehingga penelitian ini menjadi menarik dan menjadi kajian baru.
