WAHATUL MUJTAMA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (P3M) Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Islam dan Bahasa Arab (STIBA) Makassar. It is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services. WAHATUL MUJTAMA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat contains various activities of the teaching staff and students in Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Islam dan Bahasa Arab (STIBA) Makassar in handling and managing the various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society. Implementation of service activities also involve the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the welfare of society. In the following year of publication, the journal is going to publish twice a year (June and December). Any interested author could submit the manuscript following the submission guidelines. Please read these guidelines carefully. Authors who want to submit their manuscript to the editorial office of WAHATUL MUJTAMA should obey the writing guidelines. If the manuscript submitted is not appropriate with the guidelines or written in a different format, it will be REJECTED by the editors before further reviewed. The editors will only accept the manuscripts which meet the assigned format. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Desk Review and Initial Manuscript Evaluation processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bebestari/peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by Double-Blind Peer-Review Process. Further details on reviewing policy and processes are available on submission guidelines.

Abstract

The implementation of community service carried out by KPM IAIN Madura students in improving the quality of understanding of Islam in Ponteh Village, Galis District, Pamekasan Regency is through Dirosa Islamiyah which is manifested through various Islamic education and teaching programs for Muslim women and children. The results of the Dirosa Islamiyah activities for Muslim women in Ponteh Village show that some Muslim women and children in Ponteh Village before joining the Dirosa Islamiyah program had little knowledge and understanding of Islam. However, after participating in Dirosa Islamiyah activities, Muslim women and children in Ponteh Village had an increase in their knowledge and understanding of Islam.

Abstract

Sinjai Regency is one of the Level II Regions in the province of South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The district capital is located in Sinjai, which is about ±220 km from Makassar City. The purpose of the STIBA Makassar Real Work Lecture (KKN) batch V is as a form of community service which is a pillar of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The method of implementing the service program begins with mapping the problems and needs of the community using SOAR analysis. After the analysis was carried out, the main program was arranged in the form of teaching Arabic and English as well as supporting work programs in the form of Social Service, Muslimah Taklim Council, and Teaching of the Qur'an, DIROSA and TK/TPA. All of these programs managed to run well and have shown initial results in accordance with the KKN objectives that have been proclaimed.

Abstract

The Prophet Muhammad saw. was sent to convey the prophetic treatise from Allah Swt. in order to make Islam a complete and perfect belief, and to protect humanity as rahmatan lil 'alamin. Muslimah Wahdah Region of Enrekang in collaboration with Student Community Service of STIBA Makassar Year of 2022 makes activities for Muslim women and children as a form of existence in restoring Islamic civilization, among these activities are teaching TPA, teaching tahfidz, teaching Arabic, carrying out cycles of memorizing the Qur'an, conducting seminars about Ramadan, and spreading the Qur'an and Ifthor. The Real Work Lecture Program in collaboration with MWD Enrekang can run well even though there are activities that are not carried out.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) Batch V of STIBA Makassar students aims to increase the Islamic knowledge and religious skills in the people of Bilanrengi Village, Parigi District, Gowa Regency, especially in organizing of corpse according to Islamic law. Implementation of activities begins with mapping problems and needs using SOAR analysis. After analyzing the problems and needs, work programs are then prepared according to the needs of the community. The work program that was successfully implemented was the Training of Corpse Organizing. The method used is in the form of lectures, discussions, and practice, with the stages of PkM activities, namely: the observation, preparation, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The result of this activity was the amount of enthusiasm and support from the community for the training activities, especially elements from the village administration, village priests, taklim assemblies, and the community, especially ladies and gentlemen. The community feels great benefits after participating in this KKN program, including an increase in knowledge, insight and religious skills, especially related to organizing the human corpse in accordance with Islamic teachings. The continuation of this program is in the form of further coaching for participants, especially training on handling abnormal corpses, such as corpses with certain diseases, accident victims, victims of natural disasters, and others, which require special and different treatment from corpses in general.

Abstract

The increasingly widespread spread of Covid-19 and the increasing number of victims who have died from the virus have caused more activities to be carried out at home. Therefore, the government made a policy by implementing Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), Lockdown as an effort to prevent the spread of the virus. However, the government has also made an offer to do Work from Home (WFH) so that productive activities can continue amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Among the positive and useful activities, such as holding virtual-based hydroponic training for the community. The hydroponic training method is carried out boldly through zoom webinars, the activities are conceptualized and arranged systematically, it is hoped that the participants can master the basic and simple techniques to start hydroponics at home and can take advantage of limited land. Based on the results of this virtual-based hydroponic training it was found that the participants seemed enthusiastic and responded very well to the training material, indicated by the number of questions and the number of participants who attended, some of whom even planned to directly hold hydroponic training. Because the training material presented is quite light and easily understood by the participants. In addition, this training is in accordance with the principles of hydroponic beginners, simple, and the use of familiar tools around us.

Abstract

The purpose of the Field Work Lecture (KKN) Batch V of STIBA Makassar students is to increase Islamic knowledge and religious awareness in the people of the Biring Romang Village, Manggala District, Makassar. This KKN is a form of community service as one of the pillars of the Tridarma of Higher Education. The method of implementing the community service program begins with mapping community problems and needs using SOAR Analysis. After the analysis is carried out, a work program is prepared according to the needs of the community. The work program that was successfully carried out at Biring Romang was a solemn form of KKN students for the people of the Biring Romang Village, including fostering religious activities such as teaching the Quran for adults or DIROSA and children trough teaching TPA, Daurah memorizing the Quran, Taklim Muslimah, Daurah Ta’rif, Teaching al Quran in several schools, Traaining on Organizing Bodies, Social Service, Ghatering, Friday sharing and Ramadhan sharing. The results of this activity is that the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the community, especially women and children, is visible in participating in the activity, especially the Dirosa and TPA activities which formed several halaqahs at several points is Biring Romang Village and their very big hope that these activities will always be continues even though the KKN period has ended. And all of these programs are running well and have shown initial results in accordance with the aims of the KKN that have been proclaimed.

Abstract

PkM in the form of training on organizing the funeral which was carried out in the Tubajeng Village aims to provide insight to the Muslim community about the procedures for organizing the funeral according to the guidance of the Prophet. The method used in this activity combines lecture, demonstration and practice methods. This activity has shown encouraging initial results in the form of participants' understanding of the procedures for organizing the funeral according to the guidance of the Prophet.

Abstract

The purpose of the STIBA Makassar Real Work Lecture (KKN) Batch V is as a form of community service which is a pillar of the tridharma of higher education, especially in approaching the community by using thibbunnabawi as the main program. The method of implementing the service program begins with mapping the problems and needs of the community using SOAR analysis. After the analysis is done, a work program that is appropriate and needed by the community is drawn up. Work programs that have been successfully implemented include: Dirasah and tahsin, TPA teaching, Ramadhan safari, and hijamah or cupping. All of these programs managed to run well and have shown results in accordance with the KKN objectives that have been proclaimed, namely an approach to village communities for the sake of religious education for village communities.

Abstract

The purpose of the Real Work Lecture (KKN) of STIBA Makassar Batch IV is to realize community service which is a pillar of “Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi”. The method of implementing this activity is to map the problems and needs first using soar analysis instruments. After analyzing problems and needs, a work program is prepared that is appropriate and needed by the community. Successful work programs are Tahfiz Weekend For Children, Social Services, Funeral Training, and Santri Children's Festival. The result of this activity is to see the enthusiasm of the community, adults and children in every activity. They feel great benefits after participating in various KKN work programs, among which are children able to recite daily prayers and memorize some surahs in the Qur'an, Muslim women also increasingly understand the basics of Islamic science and are determined to keep learning even though this KKN program has ended. In addition, underprivileged communities also feel the benefits by lightening their burdens through social service activities.

Abstract

The purpose of the Real Work Lecture (KKN) stiba Makassar Batch IV is to improve the ability to read the Qur'an and Islamic insight of Kubu Raya Muslimah. The method of implementation of the service program begins by mapping the problems and needs of the community using SOAR Analysis. After the analysis is done, it is prepared a work program that is appropriate and needed by the community. Successful work programs include: Silaturahim Muslimah, Mahir Bahasa Arab, Tausiah Qur'ani, Daurah 7 Days memorization Juz 30, Daurah Ramadan Muslimah, Social Service, Tarbiah and Tahsin Pekanan and Da'wah Social Media. All these programs managed to run well, community enthusiasm increased and the understanding of community religion is also getting better, and has shown results in accordance with the goals of the KKN that has been proclaimed, maintaining the existence of Muslim women.
