Abstract

Marriage is an innate bond between a man and a woman as a wife with the aim of forming a happy and eternal family (household) based on the One Godhead, Meanwhile in a traditional marriage a noble woman is strictly forbidden to marry a man who is not a noble, because her royal status is considered to be lost. Framework of thought and insight in community life, there is a custom that applies to a society that is very thick and upheld, such as the customs in Penujak Village, Praya District, Central Lombok Regency in the form of marriage. In marriage affairs, they must find a man who is able and can pay a high price and marriage with a non-noble man is a very genius violation of custom. Not only that, marriage between groups or with someone from outside who is categorized as violating customary law. Meanwhile, the custom that prevails in Penujak Village determines that a woman can only marry a man who only comes from the descendants of the nobility. However, the life of the Sasak tribe community in Penujak Village, aristocratic marriage, for example, with men from the lower social status layer (Non-Noble), the daughter of the noble descendant will be exiled (banished) and can even cause a commotion between the noble family and the non-noble family of the Sasak tribe. Meanwhile, Sasak women who carry out inter-tribal marriages with non-noble Javanese tribes do not receive any customary law sanctions. Even though customary norms are still very thick applicable to Sasak women who marry non-nobles of the Sasak tribe. Why is the marriage between the Sasak tribe which is different from the ordinary Sasak tribe, not accepted and sanctioned such as being exiled and not recognized by the extended family., but when the marriage between the Sasak tribe nobles and non-nobles from other tribes is accepted and does not receive resistance.it is appropriate for the Sasak tribe nobles and non-Sasak tribe nobles even the sonnatu of the Javanese tribe (outside Sasak) is not a noble, it is privileged and given a place of residence such as the mennatu who are of noble descent.

Abstract

The transformation towards Society 5.0 has had a significant impact on the rapid growth of data available worldwide, both useful and less directly beneficial, known as big data. This phenomenon provides opportunities for researchers to leverage big data as a valuable source of information, provided it is processed and analyzed using appropriate methods. One of the rapidly growing applications is sentiment analysis, which extracts insights from text data, such as that gathered from social media platforms. This study applies the TF-IDF feature extraction technique and the SVM (Support Vector Machine) classification method to perform sentiment analysis on Twitter text data. The results of the research show that the model built using the combination of TF-IDF and SVM achieved an accuracy of 86%, with precision, recall, and F1-Score values of 85% each. These findings indicate that the application of TF-IDF with SVM provides optimal performance in sentiment analysis, considering the word frequency within documents, and makes a significant contribution to processing big data for more accurate and effective sentiment analysis

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between hotel tax, restaurant tax, entertainment tax, and parking tax in relation to the increase in local revenue (PAD) driven by the growth of the tourism and culinary sectors in Malang Regency. The study also explores how taxpayer compliance can regulate the relationship between regional taxes and local revenue. The primary objective of this research is to determine the impact of the four types of regional taxes on local revenue and to assess the extent to which taxpayer compliance influences the efficiency of tax collection. The relationship between variables, based on the research hypothesis, is explained using an explanatory/confirmatory quantitative approach. The subjects of this research are the seven technical implementation units for the collection of hotel tax, restaurant tax, entertainment tax, and parking tax in Malang Regency from 2017 to 2021. Data quantification and analysis of the variables were conducted using a quantitative method. The results show that hotel tax, restaurant tax, parking tax, and entertainment tax have a positive impact on PAD, although this increase is dependent on the level of taxpayer compliance as a moderating variable.

Abstract

The integration of Augmented Reality (AR) media in vocational education has emerged as a promising tool for enhancing learning experiences and aligning educational outcomes with industry demands. This study employs a qualitative approach to examine the benefits and challenges associated with the use of AR media in vocational education. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with educators, students, and education technology experts, supplemented by document analysis of curriculum frameworks and AR implementation case studies. The findings reveal several key benefits of AR in vocational education, including improved student engagement, enhanced skill acquisition through immersive simulations, and the ability to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. AR media also facilitates personalized learning, enabling students to progress at their own pace while fostering a deeper understanding of complex concepts. However, the study identifies significant challenges, such as high development costs, limited digital literacy among educators and students, and infrastructural constraints, particularly in resource-limited settings. Additionally, concerns regarding content standardization and the alignment of AR tools with curriculum objectives remain prevalent. The study concludes that while AR holds transformative potential for vocational education, its successful integration requires collaborative efforts among educators, policymakers, and technology providers. Recommendations include the development of cost-effective AR solutions, targeted training programs for educators, and robust policies to ensure equitable access and alignment with educational goals. This study contributes to the growing discourse on education technology, offering actionable insights for stakeholders seeking to leverage AR to enhance vocational education outcomes.

Abstract

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a serious complication of diabetes and one of the leading causes of blindness worldwide, including in Indonesia. As the prevalence of diabetes continues to rise, diabetic retinopathy has become an increasing public health concern, particularly due to the limited awareness, late diagnosis, and inadequate access to ophthalmic care. This study explores the growing burden of diabetic retinopathy among diabetes patients in Indonesia using a qualitative approach. Through in-depth interviews with healthcare professionals, diabetic patients, and public health officials, as well as an analysis of policy documents and health reports, this research examines the challenges faced in the prevention, early detection, and management of DR. Findings indicate that insufficient healthcare infrastructure, lack of trained specialists, and economic barriers significantly hinder access to timely eye examinations and treatment. Moreover, many diabetes patients have limited knowledge about the risks of DR, leading to delays in seeking medical intervention. The study also highlights the role of cultural perceptions and healthcare system inefficiencies in exacerbating the problem. It is evident that a more comprehensive strategy, involving government intervention, community awareness programs, and improvements in healthcare accessibility, is necessary to address this growing concern. Strengthening early screening programs, integrating ophthalmic care into primary healthcare services, and promoting better diabetes management practices are essential steps toward reducing the impact of DR in Indonesia. This research underscores the urgent need for a multi-sectoral approach to prevent vision impairment and improve the quality of life for diabetes patients.

Abstract

West Kalimantan is a province surrounded by oceans, making it a potential sub-sector for the Indonesian economy. Geographically, the sea waters of West Kalimantan are located at 02O N - 03O S and 106O E - 110O E. Fishing at sea is carried out by marine fisheries households and fisheries companies domiciled in Sambas, Singkawang, Kubu Raya, Bengkayang, Mempawah, Pontianak City, Kayong Utara, and Ketapang Regencies. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that: most (42.60%) of vocational high school graduates in West Kalimantan in 2023 are absorbed in the workforce; most of the marine and fisheries vocational high school graduates in West Kalimantan in 2023 are working. However, there are several districts/cities whose graduates choose to become entrepreneurs and/or continue their studies. This shows that vocational high school graduates in the fisheries and marine fields in West Kalimantan can be absorbed in the workforce or continue to higher education.

Abstract

In processing existing data by analyzing the situation in the field from primary and secondary data. For primary data such as field observations, and coal sampling data and secondary data in the form of research location maps and laboratory test results, where the results of the coal quality laboratory test produced proximate analysis data with parameters of total moisture, inherent moisture, ash contant, volatile matter, fixed carbon, total sulphure and calorific value. In statistics, regression analysis is often used to test the relationship between an independent variable and a bound variable. The mathematical model that states the relationship between the two variables is called a regression equation. From the results of the comparison of coal quality with the parameters of proximate analysis, there was a change in coal quality at the time of the front towards the stockpile, which was as follows: TM = 0.68 %, IM = 0.61%, ASH = --1.32%, VM = 3.28 %, FC = 2.31 %, TS = -0.27 %, CV = -174 Kcal/kg. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the largest influence of the parameters that cause the decrease in calories is ash content of 36.69%, total moisture of 22.6%, volatile matter of 64.19%, inherent moisture of 27.5%, fixed carbon of 25.87%, and total sulfur of 0.44%.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes in state financial management, particularly in terms of transparency and accountability. This study aims to juridically examine how the principles of transparency and accountability are applied in state financial management in the digital era and to evaluate the effectiveness of existing regulations. The research employs a normative approach using literature review (library research), analyzing various laws, legal documents, and previous studies relevant to the topic. The findings indicate that digitalization in state financial management, such as the implementation of e-budgeting and e-audit systems, has improved public access to financial information and accelerated the oversight process. However, challenges remain in its implementation, including legal gaps in data protection, risks of digital manipulation, and a lack of technical expertise in certain state financial management institutions. Additionally, while regulations on transparency and accountability have been strengthened, their effectiveness still largely depends on the consistency of law enforcement and political commitment. Therefore, policy reforms that are more adaptive to technological developments and the strengthening of more responsive oversight mechanisms are needed. This study is expected to contribute to the development of better legal policies to ensure state financial management that is more transparent, accountable, and free from misuse in the digital era.
