Abstract

Indonesian Ministry of Health data (2013) showed 89% of children aged 12 years had dental caries, this is one proof that public awareness is still lacking in maintaining the health of their teeth and mouth. Residents who stated that they had problems with their teeth and mouth in the last 12 months in Tabanan Regency were 25.7%. This figure is above the Bali provincial figure of 24.0%. One of the preventive measures for dental caries is to seal (seal) pits and deep fissures on the surface of the tooth. Based on the preliminary interview with the Head of Kukuh Elementary School 1, 3 and 4 in Marga Sub-district, Tabanan Regency, it is known that there are no UKS or UKGS elementary schools. Based on the description above, a problem statement can be formulated: how to prevent dental caries for students in Kukuh District 1, 3 and 4 SDN in Marga Sub-district, Tabanan Regency in 2018? The service method is carried out with practice or direct action on the teeth of students of SDN 1,3, and 4 Kukuh, Marga District, Tabanan Regency. Based on the results and discussion, it can be suggested as follows: sealant action is carried out even earlier, to avoid carious teeth; if similar activities are carried out again, the community service team prepares tools and materials for dental fillings. Keywords: pit and fissure sealant, dental caries

Abstract

In 2008 there were cases of Tetanus Neonatorum with 91 cases of death or a Case Fatality Rate (CFR) of 55%. Most of the cases of Tetanus Neonatorum were babies whose deliveries were assisted by traditional birth attendants. Tetanus neonatorum is a tetanus disease that occurs in neonates (infants less than 1 month old) caused by Clostridium tetani, which is a germ that releases toxins that attack central nervous system. Risk factors that cause neonatal tetanus are delivery that does not meet cleanliness, namely umbilical cord care does not meet health requirements and administration of Tetanus Toxoid immunization to pregnant women is not carried out or is incomplete or not in accordance with program provisions. TT immunization is one solution to prevent tetanus neonatorum (TN). WUS who are the targets of TT immunization are women aged 15-49 years consisting of pregnant women (pregnant women) and non-pregnant women. TT immunization on WUS is given as many as 5 doses at certain intervals, starting before and or during pregnancy which is useful for lifelong immunityKeywords: tetanus, pregnancy, primigravida.

Abstract

Education on sexual and reproductive health for adolescents in Indonesia has not been fully accepted by the community. This is influenced by the complex environment of social, cultural and religious life. Many people consider that sexual and reproductive health education is a taboo subject to discuss among adolescents. These conditions make adolescents confused in determining their reproductive health behavior. However, over time, the influence of Western culture has brought freedom and open access to information so as to provide opportunities for adolescents to have negative behaviors in reproductive health. The prevalence of sexually active behavior in male adolescents (56.6%) is higher when compared to adolescent girls (43.7%). The problem of abortion in adolescents needs to be seriously addressed, because this problem occurs mostly in developing countries such as Indonesia due to the lack of access to information about abortion. This is evident from many studies which state that the high number of unsafe abortions that causes death is due to the lack of knowledge of young women about the dangers of abortion. Keywords: danger of abortion

Abstract

The umbilical cord is the main entry point for systemic infections in newborns. In general, umbilical cord care aims to prevent infection and accelerate the breakdown of the umbilical cord. Basically, umbilical cord infection can be prevented by doing good and correct umbilical cord care, namely with the principle of dry and clean care. Many opinions about the best way to care for the umbilical cord. One of the efforts that can be made to reduce infant morbidity and mortality is by providing effective health services to the community regarding the care of the baby's umbilical cord. In carrying out these efforts, human resources who have the ability to provide quality services are needed, namely by providing health education to the community, so that the knowledge possessed by the community is expected to influence people's behavior towards healthKeywords: Childbirth, Umbilical Cord Care.

Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) data shows that 99% of maternal deaths due to childbirth or birth problems occur in developing countries. When compared with the ratio of maternal mortality in nine developed countries and 51 Commonwealth countries, the ratio of maternal mortality in developing countries is the highest with 450 maternal deaths per 100 thousand live births. Post-partum bleeding is diagnosed when the amount of bleeding is considered to be more than normal. Clinical signs and symptoms of blood loss include weakness, sweating, and tachycardia which usually occur after the loss of 15-25% of total blood volume loss. Hemodynamic reduction only occurs in blood loss of 35% and 45%.Keywords: Posyandu Cadres, Puerperal Bleeding

Abstract

The most common cause of maternal death is bleeding (30.3%), followed by hypertension in pregnancy (27.1%), infection (7%). Other causes, 45%, are quite large, including non-obstetric causes. High maternal mortality is also caused by the high number of unexpected pregnancies. Approximately 65% of pregnancies still occur because "4 too" associated with pregnancies "too young (less than 20 years)," too old: (more than 35 years), "too often (pregnancy interval less than 2 years," too many”(more than 3 children). Most maternal deaths can be prevented if adequate treatment is provided in health care facilities. Time and transportation factors are very decisive in referring to high-risk cases. Therefore, detection of risk factors in mothers is good by personnel. Health and society is one of the important efforts in preventing death and morbidity. To avoid the risk of complications in pregnancy and childbirth, every pregnant woman needs at least 4 antenatal care, namely once in the first trimester (0-12 weeks gestation), one times in the second trimester (12-24 weeks of gestation), and twice in the second trimester third steer (24 weeks gestation until delivery).
