Abstract

This study sought to find a depiction of innovation made by the principal and teachers at MIN 1 Lebong concerning the madrasah’s final exams academic year 2018/2019, amid the lack of media, by replacing the Computer-based madrasah’s final exams (UAMBK) to Android-based madrasah’s final exams (UAMBA). Thus, it called for an in-depth study to see its implementation. This study employed a qualitative approach. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques, and the data were subsequently analyzed using Miles, Haberman, and Saldana’ version of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. This study concluded that the implementation of Android-based final exams, or the so-called UAMBA, was considered quite effective and efficient because it had several advantages including saving more budgets, being able to minimize the delay of UAM test packages, minimizing the occurrence of cheating during exams, making it easier for students, and making the exam results capably known quickly because the manual implementation of national exams was costly, wherein it demanded budgets for printing national exam packages and distributing those national exam packages.

Abstract

The background of this research was a phenomenon in the educational process where the teaching materials used were not optimal, so a development was needed. In this case, the teaching materials were Students Worksheets (LKS) used at SDN 01 Rejang Lebong and they only contained questions and exercises, without being equipped with the presentation of teaching material, character values and illustrative examples. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of illustrative Student Worksheets (LKS) containing character education in mathematics learning for grade 1 in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was a type of development research with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). This research was conducted at SDN 01 Rejang Lebong. The subjects of this study were 16 students of class 1A. Data collection techniques in this study were: (1) observation, (2) interview, and (3) questionnaire. The data analysis technique was carried out using descriptive analysis with validation tests from 2 material experts and 1 media expert. The result of this research was the development of illustrative student worksheets (LKS) with character education in mathematics learning in grade 1 SDN 01 Rejang Lebong which produces a pre-content section with a main title page (cover), an identity page, an introduction, and a table of contents. The content section contains mathematics learning material on whole numbers. The closing section of the content contains a bibliography and author profile, with a total of 20 pages using A4 paper for the contents of Student Worksheets (LKS). The results of the feasibility assessment by material experts get an average score with a score of 4.15 which is in the right category. As well as the average number of scores with 4.2 from the media design experts getting an average number of scores with an average score in the right category.

Abstract

The learning program through the TVRI program can make it easier for students who have obstacles to access the internet, due to economic reasons and geographic location. This study aims to examine the effect of learning from home through TVRI on the psychomotor aspects of elementary school students during the spread of Covid-19. There are 3 levels studied, namely readiness, guidance, and basic skills. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects included students in grades III, IV, and V SDN Jambean 02. The data filling technique was an instrument in the form of observation and structured interviews. Learning from home through the TVRI learning program guided by parents or adults, affects the psychomotor aspects of students at the readiness and guidance stages, but at the basic skilled stage it has not been successful. This shows the role of teachers in schools cannot be saved by technology, even when students study at home accompanied by parents. With the learning from home through the TVRI program, it is hoped that parents can read students when studying, with the aim of developing students' psychomotor aspects optimally
