Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Indonesian culture on the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analytic method, by describing the data with words, pictures, and not numbers. The results showed that the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School was able to introduce Indonesian culture in Malaysia through learning activities, extracurricular activities, and performing arts, so that students could preserve Indonesian culture. Indonesian culture can be taught through educational facilities, through educational facilities it can introduce the existing culture in Indonesia to students from an early age, so that students know the various cultures that exist in Indonesia. With this activity, students of the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School can find out and preserve Indonesian culture on the international stage.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the role of teachers in maintaining Indonesian culture to shape the character of students at Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School. This research was conducted because seeing the current condition of many young people leaving Indonesian culture due to the swift currents of globalization. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with literature study techniques. The study conducted studies with journals and books on the formation of character and cultural values that were instilled in learning at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School. The results of this study indicate that the teaching staff at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School is very strong in maintaining Indonesian culture to shape the character of students through learning activities, extracurricular activities which include dance, traditional musical instruments and so on. There are several characters that are applied at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School, including honesty, discipline, love of culture, and love of the country. With this activity, students at Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School do not lose their character as Indonesian citizens and can know and be able to preserve Indonesian culture in the international arena. Keywords: the role of teachers, indonesian culture, shaping character AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam mempertahankan budaya Indonesia untuk membentuk karakter siswa di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena melihat kondisi sekarang banyak anak muda yang meninggalkan kebudaya Indonesia karena derasnya arus globalisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik study literature. Penelitian melakukan pengkajian dengan jurnal dan buku terhadap pembentukan karakter dan nilai-nilai budaya yang ditanamkan dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tenaga pendidik di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur sangat kuat mempertahankan budaya Indonesia untuk membentuk karakter siswa lewat kegiatan-kegiatan pembelajaran, ekstrakulikuler yang  meliputi tari, alat musik  tradisional dan lain sebagainya. Adapun beberapa karakter yang diterapkan di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur antara lain Kejujuran, kedisiplinan, cinta budaya, dan  cinta tanah air. Dengan adanya kegiatan tersebut, siswa di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur tidak kehilangan karakter sebagai warga Negara Indonesia dan dapat mengetahui serta dapat melestarikan budaya Indonesia di kacah internasional. Kata kunci: peran guru, budaya indonesia, membentuk karakter

Abstract

This study aims to increase the activeness of students in science learning by using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model with the help of the media "Energy Change Board" in science learning class IV SDN 3 Blimbing Kidul. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) design by Kemmis and Mc.Taggart. This research model consists of the planning stage, the implementation stage and the observation and reflection stage. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This study showed the results that: Student activity both in cycle I and cycle II showed a significant increase with the percentage in cycle I of 60% to 77% in cycle II. Based on these results, it can be concluded that student activity and learning outcomes have increased.

Abstract

In line with the swift development of technology in learning, textbooks appear to meet the need for fast and accessible information in the form of electronic books, better known as e-books. This study, therefore, aims to develop a 3D page flip e-book based on science literacy integrated with Islamic values for fifth-grade students. This study’s samples were Islamic Elementary School Miftahul Huda 02 Dawe Kudus and Islamic Elementary School (MI/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) Al Huda Kunduran Blora. Data collection techniques used tests, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. This study’s results were in the form of the characteristics of teaching materials for 3D page flip e-books based on scientific literacy integrated with Islamic values, including aspects of science as the body of knowledge, science as a way to investigate, science as a way of thinking, aspects of the interaction between science, technology, society, and Islamic values. The validity of the 3D page flip e-book teaching materials based on scientific literacy integrated with Islamic values was tested and resulted in very valid criteria. Based on the research results, the validity level of teaching materials obtained a mean of 85.28%, so teaching materials were categorized as very valid. Thus, teaching materials for 3D page flip e-books based on scientific literacy integrated with Islamic values effectively improved students' scientific literacy skills. Then, the similarity test of the two means revealed that the experimental class had a higher increase in cognitive learning outcomes than the control class. The implications of this research include that 3D page flip e-book teaching materials can be used as one of the innovations; developed learning can be used as a teaching tool in the learning process; assisting students in learning the 2013 curriculum can be carried out by implementing scientific literacy-based e-book teaching materials integrated with Islamic values; the availability of e-books as learning media can increase scientific literacy; students can understand science concepts and processes to apply them in everyday life with integrated Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality pf students in faith and piety and science and technology at SD Al Ma’soem Bandung.. The method used in this research is the field research method or direct research where the researcher goes directly to the place to be studied, with data collection using the results of interviews, observations, and documentation. Efforts can be made to improve the quality of students in the world of education, namely by developing science and technology and IMTAQ. Basically general science and religious knowledge are important foundations in creating excellent students. So the provision of religious knowledge with general knowledge is one solution and it is important to do so. With the provision of religious knowledge and general knowledge, students are able to follow the current developments but still have a good level of faith and piety. Science and technology and IMTAQ have a relationship to realize a balanced life in this world and the hereafter. The result of this study illustrate that student personality development is carried out with the IMTAQ program including the implementation of reading the Qur’an and asmaul hsuna activities, it will form an Islamic persoanality, and in the science and technology program students can use computer wisely and can make discoveries new.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the formation of students' religious character through prayer activities and tahfidz qur'an at Al-Ma'soem Elementary School Bandung. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The method used is the field research method with the type of field research. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the formation of the religious character of students at Al-Ma'soem Elementary School is carried out through teaching materials in schools and studies in dormitories. Furthermore, through exemplary which is done by giving examples to students such as refracting congregational prayers, behaving and telling the truth and memorizing the Qur'an in a muraja'ah way. Activities like this are used to be carried out in every daily activity, both through religious activities and other activities so that a religious character is formed in Al-Ma'soem Elementary School students.

Abstract

The importance of introducing insight into religious moderation from an early age, especially at the age level of Elementary School (SD) or Madradsah Ibtidaiyah (MI) through the development of social studies teaching materials that are integrated with the values of moderation is a necessity to maintain and care for diversity which is increasingly eroding. Implicitly, the spirit of moderation in religion has indeed been shown in several materials and teaching materials at the elementary school level, even though they are still in a very simple form. This research design is Research and Development (R&D) or Research and Development. The sample technique used is the sample technique aimed at conducting research, namely MI NU Miftahul Falah Dawe Kudus. Data collection techniques using test techniques, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The results of research on the development of IPS teaching materials based on religious moderation values were developed using the Thiagarajan research and development method, namely the Four-D (4-D) development model consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate. IPS teaching materials based on moderation values with the theme of the beauty of togetherness are effective in improving student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the two average similarity tests on improving students' cognitive learning outcomes, it shows that the experimental class has a higher increase in cognitive learning outcomes than the control class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 05 Teluk Wetan Jepara pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan literasi budaya melaui pembelajaran berbasis proyek, mengetahui terbentuknya sikap multikultural setelah adanya penerapan literasi budaya, mengetahui faktor pendorong dan penghambat penerapan literasi budaya melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam pembentukan sikap multikultural. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu jenis penelitian field research dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 05 Teluk Wetan Jepara dengan jumlah 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi, sedangkan teknik analisisnya meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa siswa merasa senang dan memahami tentang aspek kebudayaan ketika literasi budaya dikemas melalui model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, bagi mereka adalah suatu hal yang menarik dan belum pernah mereka lakukan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan terbentuknya sikap multikultural dapat dilihat dari siswa memiliki pengetahuan tentang budaya, saling menghargai pendapat, dan sikap saling ketergantungan siswa selama proses pembelajaran penerapan literasi budaya melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Hal tersebut dapat dirasakan siswa secara nyata karena siswa lebih interaktif dan dapat memaknai suatu kebudayaan sebagai hal yang indah bukan lagi sebagai penghalang dan pembeda.

Abstract

The low awareness of environmental literacy has led many individuals to perceive environmental issues as trivial. In fact, environmental literacy plays a crucial role in human survival, particularly in fostering responsible ecological awareness. Therefore, implementing environmental literacy from an early age is an urgent necessity to ensure that students develop a strong understanding of the importance of maintaining environmental balance. This study aims to analyze the integration of environmental literacy in IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) learning to enhance the ecological awareness of fifth-grade students at MI Darul Ulum 02 Kudus. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The results of this classroom action research indicate that integrating environmental literacy into IPAS learning can improve students' ecological awareness, as evidenced by positive outcomes. The percentage of students achieving different levels of success is as follows: 53.33% of students received an excellent rating, 26.67% received a good rating, and only 20% received a sufficient rating. These percentages demonstrate that conducting classroom action research in two cycles has had a positive impact on improving students' understanding of environmental literacy and their ecological awareness in the fifth grade of MI Darul Ulum 02 Kudus. [Kesadaran yang rendah terhadap literasi lingkungan menyebabkan banyak individu menganggap isu lingkungan sebagai hal yang sepele. Padahal, literasi lingkungan memiliki peran krusial dalam kelangsungan hidup manusia, terutama dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran ekologis yang bertanggung jawab. Oleh karena itu, penerapan literasi lingkungan sejak dini menjadi kebutuhan mendesak untuk memastikan bahwa siswa memiliki pemahaman yang kuat tentang pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi literasi lingkungan dalam pembelajaran IPAS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial) guna meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis siswa kelas V di MI Darul Ulum 02 Kudus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi literasi lingkungan dalam pembelajaran IPAS dapat meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis siswa, sebagaimana dibuktikan oleh hasil yang positif. Persentase siswa yang mencapai berbagai tingkat keberhasilan adalah sebagai berikut: 53,33% siswa memperoleh predikat sangat baik, 26,67% memperoleh predikat baik, dan hanya 20% yang memperoleh predikat cukup. Persentase ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas dalam dua siklus telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai literasi lingkungan serta kesadaran ekologis mereka di kelas V MI Darul Ulum 02 Kudus].
