Jurnal DinamikA adalah jurnal ilmiah yang terbitkan oleh Institut Agama Islam Negeri Salatiga yang memiliki fokus dan cakupan bidang ilmu sosial dan humaniora. Jurnal DinamikA diterbitkan oleh LPM DinamikA secara berkala dua kali dalam setahun (enam bulan), yaitu bulan juni dan bulan desember. Pada setiap edisi diterbitkan sesuai dengan tema tertentu, yang telah disepakati dalam rapat redaksi. Abstract

 This research aims to determine the recruitment system for educators at As-Sa'adiyah Islamic Boarding School in Samarinda. The research utilizes interview techniques by posing several questions directly to the interviewees, and employs a literature approach using scientific journals, books, articles, and other credible sources. The findings of this research indicate that in the recruitment process for prospective educators at As-Sa'adiyah Islamic Boarding School, the Foundation does not conduct an open recruitment process. Instead, it relies on a familial system, wherein individuals are invited to become teachers through connections with Ustadz, Ustadzah, educators, or staff members of the boarding school, as well as reputable alumni. However, the recruitment is based on competency standards, ensuring that the candidates are already competent in their respective fields.

Abstract

 The use of social media has now become a necessity and even a priority for some Indonesian people, including the millennial generation. Moreover, since the Covid-19 outbreak in 2020, so many workers have switched professions to become content creators. On the other hand, we have seen a lot of various news in the mass media, ranging from the report of success obtained by using social media to information about kidnapping, fraud, prostitution, and so on. But from another point of view, the sociology of communication will provide an explanation that is relevant to the current situation of society, so that every individual, including content creators as members of society, can adapt to the development of various phenomena that arise in their society. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of social media content creators from the perspective of the sociology of communication in the Covid-19 endemic era. The research method uses a qualitative approach to phenomenology. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Provisions on the number of informants selected based on purposive sampling technique, as many as 7 youths. The research findings were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that seven content creators created content with themes related to real life, such as culinary, da'wah, tahsin science, home design, typography, Canva design, and copywriting. From the perspective of the sociology of communication, content creators have a significant role in providing content that is informative, educative, inspiring, entertaining, and profitable for the audience.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine and describe the role of parents on children's character. This type of research is a literature review obtained from journals on the internet. The data collection technique is to listen and record the things needed in this study. Data validity techniques use triangulation techniques, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that parents play an important role in children's character education, especially in 5 aspects, namely (1) parents as educators, (2) parents as facilitators, (3) parents as companions and supervisors, (4) parents as motivators, and (5) parents as figures / role models for children.

Abstract

 The emergence of various digital platforms in the era of the internet technology revolution, in addition to giving birth to various new job types, also gives rise to a new term for workers, the term ‘mitra’ in the "gig economy" and gradually replacing previous terms such as buruh, karyawan, pegawai. This article attempts to decode the meaning of "mitra" using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis (CDA) which studies the use of language (verbal and written) as a form of social practice. Through Fairclough's three CDA levels; Text (micro level) is seen as a representation of something containing a certain ideology; Discursive practice (meso level) refers to the production, distribution, and consumption of text; Socio-cultural practice (macro level) refers to the context outside of the text such as the context of society, culture, and politics that influence the existence of text, we can reflect the ideological effects that reproduce unequal power relations in the word "mitra" used by various digital platforms. The term "mitra" referring to the ideology of "platform capitalism" makes them not considered as "pekerja" or "buruh" and eliminating them as legal subjects protected by the Labor Law. The problem is also the new work relationship is still unclear in many aspects, which can lead to exploitation of "mitra" by the company.Keywords: critical discourse analysis, ilusi kemitraan, gig economy, platform capitalism.

Abstract

 This research aims to explore the utilization of the Youth Pledge Museum as a learning resource through Virtual Reality (VR) or Virtual Tour technology, and to understand the process of using VR in history education. The research adopts a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The focus of the study includes three main components: 1) Museum collections and their management, 2) The process of utilizing the Youth Pledge Museum collections as a source of historical learning through VR technology, and 3) The role of teachers in history education through VR technology. Data for the research were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis related to the Youth Pledge Museum and the use of VR in history education. This article describes the various collections held by the Youth Pledge Museum and the technologies that have been developed, including Virtual Reality (VR), which can be used in history education. The steps for using VR in history education include: 1) Selecting a relevant Virtual Reality museum for the learning material, 2) Preparing the necessary applications and equipment, 3) Setting up an Android phone, 4) Ensuring internet connectivity, 5) Finding the link to the Virtual Reality content of the Youth Pledge Museum, 6) Accessing the discovered link and starting the Virtual Tour. As a form of technology-integrated learning, the use of VR is expected to accommodate the development of 21st-century skills and encourage students to become active learners. This approach aligns with the student-centered learning concept applied in the independent curriculum, allowing students to construct their own knowledge.Keywords: museums, youth pledges, learning resources, Virtual Reality.

Abstract

Perubahan ekonomi global telah mendorong masyarakat agraris di berbagai wilayah untuk beralih ke sektor industri untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan daya saing. Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami transformasi masyarakat agraris menjadi masyarakat industri di Dusun Ngadiwongso, Desa Kabunan, Kecamatan Sukorejo terkait proses, nilai, dan peran dari agama. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis digunakan untuk menggali data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa industrialisasi membawa dampak positif yakni jaminan ekonomi, kesehatan, dan kesempatan kerja baru, namun industrialisasi juga menghadirkan tantangan seperti kehilangan lahan pertanian, polusi lingkungan, dan perubahan dalam struktur sosial. Agama berfungsi sebagai sumber kedamaian pribadi dan penguatan identitas spiritual, serta sebagai alat untuk memperkuat kohesi sosial dan komunikasi antarwarga, terutama melalui kegiatan keagamaan seperti tahlil dan bersih kubur yang masih dilakukan secara kolektif.

Abstract

Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Solo telah meluncurkan revolusi pelayanan publik berbasis aplikasi bernama Solo Destination. Aplikasi ini adalah aplikasi terpadu yang mengintegrasikan informasi dan dapat diakses dengan mudah oleh warga Solo maupun luar kota Solo. Pada mulanya aplikasi Solo Destination berisikan informasi wisata di Kota Solo, namun seberjalannya waktu aplikasi ini memuat berbagai layanan publik antara lain aduan masyarakat, e-pajak, perizinan/MPP, radio anak, electronic policing, wisata dan budaya, harga pangan, berita kota, fasilitas umum, mal pelayanan publik hingga layanan ASN. Aplikasi Solo Destination hadir sebagai upaya pemerintah kota untuk mendukung konsep smart city.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyediaan informasi layanan publik yang terintegrasi di Kota Solo. Selanjutnya menganalisis optimalisasi penggunaan aplikasi dalam mendukung konsep smart city. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka yang menganalisis dari dokumen laporan Pemkot Solo, jurnal, buku-buku referensi, dan media. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat integrasi dalam peluncuran aplikasi pelayanan publik Solo Destination antara Pemkot Solo, Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika, sejumlah perangkat daerah, dan stakeholder internal dan eksternal. Pemanfaatan aplikasi selalu dikembangkan secara optimal dengan disematkan fitur-fitur pembaruan sehingga masyarakat dapat mengakses informasi secara cepat dan efisien. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah inovasi pelayanan publik berbentuk aplikasi Solo Destination memberikan dampak positif bagi pemkot dan masyarakat. Aplikasi ini merupakan langkah strategis pemkot dalam mendukung konsep Solo smart city dengan mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Inovasi ini dapat ditiru oleh kota-kota lain dalam memanfaatkan teknologi, informasi, dan komunikasi untuk kemudahan layanan kemasyarakatan.

Abstract

The phenomenon of postponing marriage among millennials indicates a change in mindset and life priorities due to the influence of modernity. This study aims to investigate the views and definition of marriage according to the millennial generation, the social factors that influence the millennial generation's decision to postpone marriage according to Weber's social action theory, and the Quranic (Islamic) perspective on this phenomenon. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data were collected from previous research results, scientific journal articles, survey reports, and official statistical documents that discuss the marriage patterns of the millennial generation in the 2018-2025 timeframe, the Quran, hadith, and tafsir relevant to the theme of marriage and family formation. Data analysis was conducted through data categorization based on Weber's four types of social action, data interpretation, comparative analysis between empirical findings and Quranic perspectives, and conclusion drawing that integrates the two perspectives. The results of the analysis show that millennials postpone marriage to achieve financial stability, self-development, and emotional compatibility with partners. Emotional factors such as relationship trauma and expectations of an ideal marriage also influence this decision. Meanwhile, religious values emphasize the importance of balancing worldly and spiritual demands, providing guidance on maintaining chastity and preparing for marriage thoroughly.

Abstract

Pada era pendidikan abad ke-21, tuntutan terhadap perguruan tinggi di seluruh dunia untuk memiliki standar mutu internasional atau menciptakan World Class University (WCU) semakin meningkat. Indonesia, sebagai bagian dari negara-negara yang mengejar hal ini, secara aktif mengundang mahasiswa asing untuk belajar di Indonesia guna mewujudkan mutu pendidikan yang diharapkan. Namun, upaya ini sering kali menimbulkan fenomena gegar budaya yang menjadi tantangan terbesar bagi mahasiswa asing saat memasuki lingkungan pendidikan di Indonesia. Hal ini muncul karena mereka datang dari latar belakang budaya yang berbeda dan harus beradaptasi dengan budaya baru di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk gegar budaya dan strategi adaptasi sosial berdasarkan pengalaman mahasiswa asing yang menempuh pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan analisis sistematik literatur dengan metode PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) pada 10 artikel jurnal ilmiah yang mengkaji tentang gegar budaya dan strategi adaptasi mahasiswa asing di Indonesia dari tahun 2020 hingga 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada lima bentuk gegar budaya, yaitu kesulitan dalam memahmi bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa daerah, sistem pembelajaran dan birokrasi kampus yang rumit, tantangan menghadapi kebiasaan buruk masyarakat lokal, adaptasi terhadap norma berpakian dan penyesuaian terhadap makanan Indonesia. Adapun stategi adaptasi sosial yang mereka lakukan adalah mempelajari bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa daerah, menjalin relasi sosial dengan mahasiswa lokal dengan mengikuti kebiasaan budaya setempat, aktif mengikuti kegiatan kampus dan masyarakat, serta memperdalam pengetahuan tentang budaya Indonesia dengan membaca berbagai literatur.

Abstract

Lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan diproyeksikan siap untuk bekerja. Namun, realita menunjukkan sulitnya mencari pekerjaan karena kemampuan dan kesiapan, serta minimnya lapangan pekerjaan itu sendiri, sehingga kondisi tersebut menjadikan tantangan bonus demografi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana peran dan dampak dari penanaman nilai multikulturalisme mata pelajaran sejarah dalam menghadapi tantangan bonus demografi. Metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penanaman nilai multikulturalisme diaplikasikan melalui penghargaan terhadap perbedaan, cinta tanah air, dan pembelajaran terbuka. Penanaman nilai multikulturalisme sejarah dengan inovasi guru mendorong siswa untuk menghargai pendapat, menumbuhkan nasionalisme, serta mengembangkan kerja sama, empati, dan kreativitas. Penanaman nilai multikulturalisme dalam pembelajaran sejarah mampu membentuk pribadi siswa yang positif, kolaboratif, dan siap menghadapi tantangan bonus demografi.
