Abstract

Customer interest in health products has surged due to the COVID-19 virus, impacting the world, including Indonesia. This encourages the community to consistently maintain the cleanliness of their surroundings and fulfill nutritional needs to strengthen the immune system by consuming healthy food and beverages. However, the nutritional content in food and beverages still needs to be improved, requiring the support of health supplements to help meet these nutritional requirements. This research examines the effect of quality, price, e-WOM, celebrity endorser, and brand image on purchase decisions, with purchase intention as the intervening factor. The data collected from 334 respondents who consume health supplements in Batam were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). This research states that price does not significantly affect purchase decisions; however, quality, e-WOM, celebrity endorser, and brand image positively and significantly affect purchase decisions. Additionally, the research results indicate that price does not significantly affect purchase decisions when mediated by purchase intention. Meanwhile, the mediating role of purchase intention on quality, e-WOM, celebrity endorser, and brand image significantly affects purchase decisions.

Abstract

Product quality is a reflection of the product's production process. Production process stages that comply with standards will produce products of good quality. The more products produced, the more profits a business will gain. Conversely, if the number of products produced is not of good quality, the product can be categorized as a failed product (product defect). This research aims to analyze quality control in a case study at Az-Zahra MSMEs using the quality control method with the help of POM-QM for Windows software to measure the risk of product failure so that Az-Zahra MSMEs can implement quality control on clean products. Based on the results of p-charts calculations reviewing problems in the production of UMKM Az-Zahra Banana Chips for the period January to December 2023, it can be seen that the limit for failed products turns out that the number of failed products in September 2023 exceeds the upper control limit. The condition of the filling or filling process in each period is running normally. Furthermore, the net weight of Az-Zahra banana chip products is still within control limits.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how lifestyle choices and social media engagement shape consumer behavior and consider the role of financial literacy in moderating these impacts both directly and indirectly. Using an explanatory quantitative approach, this research focuses on Medan's entire urban generation Z population. Using the Lemeshow formula, the research sample size was determined to be a minimum of 384 respondents. Data analysis follows a three-stage process with SmartPLS, using the PLS-SEM method, outer model analysis, inner model analysis, and hypothesis testing. The research results show that lifestyle, use of social media, and level of financial literacy among generation Z in Medan directly influence their purchasing decisions. Additionally, financial literacy is a mediator, reducing the impact of social media and lifestyle factors on consumer behavior.

Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of income, financial literacy, self-control and risk tolerance on saving behavior. This research adopts a quantitative associative methodology, where everyone from generation Z who lives in the Gebang District, Langkat Regency, is the sample population. The Lemeshow method was used to determine the sample size, which determined a minimum of 96 respondents to participate in filling out a questionnaire on a Likert scale. The data collected was then analyzed using the PLS-SEM approach with the SmartPLS tool. Research findings reveal that financial literacy, income, self-control ability, and readiness to face risks influence how generation Z in the area spends and saves. Thus, this research provides deeper insight into how these aspects are interconnected and influence individual savings habits among generation Z.

Abstract

The company aims to increase profits every year to show good company performance in order to attract investors. With the increase in profits, it is expected that the dividends distributed to investors will also increase, thus attracting other investors who have not invested their capital to look at the company's shares. Ultimately, the demand for shares from this company will increase, which of course will have an impact on increasing the company's share price and increasing the company's value as well. Company value is closely related to stock prices, when the company's share price increases, the company's value will also increase, and vice versa. This study aims to analyze the effect of information asymmetry, corporate social responsibility, and intellectual capital on company value. The objects of the study are companies listed on the LQ45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data analysis uses multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that information asymmetry has a negative effect on company value, while corporate social responsibility and intellectual capital do not affect company value.

Abstract

The MSME sector serves as a crucial pillar of the national economy. Despite facing various challenges in recent years that have affected its performance and growth, MSMEs have demonstrated a strong ability to recover and adapt to dynamic economic conditions. This study aims to analyze the impact of financial literacy and access to capital on the financial performance of MSMEs in Subang Regency. The case study explores the relationship between financial literacy and access to capital, with a particular focus on the influence of capital access. The research method includes surveys and analysis of primary data collected through questionnaires from MSME operators in Subang Regency. Statistical analysis reveals that among the two factors studied, only access to capital significantly influences the financial performance of MSMEs. These findings provide crucial insights for stakeholders involved in policy and support for MSME development in Subang Regency. By emphasizing the importance of adequate access to capital, whether through formal financial institutions or government support programs, it is expected that MSME financial performance and sustainability can be enhanced. The study also highlights the need to improve financial literacy among MSME operators as part of a comprehensive strategy to strengthen this sector.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the correlation between organizational learning, work motivation, and work discipline on teacher performance with job satisfaction as a mediator. Data were collected through a questionnaire from 194 teachers at private schools in Batam City and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that organizational learning, motivation, and work discipline influence teachers' job satisfaction, while motivation and work discipline positively affect teacher performance. Organizational learning does not directly impact teacher performance. Job satisfaction does not serve as a significant mediator between the independent variables and teacher performance, as the influence of job satisfaction on performance may be affected by other more dominant factors, such as specific aspects of the work environment and individual conditions not measured in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of computer-assisted audit techniques, and auditor experience on quality with auditor competence as a mediator variable. The sample in this study consisted of auditors working at public accounting firms in Indonesia who use the ATLAS application as their audit tool. The data collection technique used a research questionnaire with a purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate that TABK (ATLAS application) has a significant effect on quality and auditor experience has a significant impact on audit quality through auditor competence, but in this study auditor experience does not affect audit quality and the effect of TABK (ATLAS application) on audit quality through auditor competence is not supported. The results of this study have theoretical and practical implications that auditor competence can be a mediating variable between the relationship between auditor experience and audit quality and the use of the ATLAS application in its application as a computer-assisted audit technique can help auditors in producing audit quality.
