Abstract

The background of this School Action Research (PTS) is the low pedagogical competence of Class Teachers in the learning process in class. The solution is to streamline the implementation of academic supervision. The problem is whether the implementation of academic supervision can improve teacher pedagogical competence in the learning process in the first semester of 2018/2019 at SDN Kojadoi. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of academic supervision in an effort to improve the pedagogical competence of Class Teachers in classroom learning, the benefit for school principals is to find out the improvement in teacher competency in the learning process. This research was carried out for two cycles, each cycle of activities four stages namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Indicators of success in this study are; 1) the results of the observation of the principal and observations of the teacher during the mentoring process have received an average score of> 4.0, 2) the final result> 85% of the total number of mentoring participants received an average score of> 70.00 (good category). The results of the study in the first cycle observation of the average School Principal (3.40), the observation of the average teacher (3.17) and the academic supervision results of the average grade teacher (68.56). In cycle II, the average school head observations (4.60) with the percentage of achievement (100%), the average teacher observation (4.50) with the percentage of achievement (100%) and the average academic supervision results (83.67) ) with a percentage of achievement (100%). Indicators of success have been achieved, the research was declared successful and terminated in the second cycle. Conclusions; The results of the research in the second cycle showed an increase in teacher competence in the learning process in the classroom. It is recommended that other school principals conduct similar research in an effort to improve teacher competency, and to similar class teachers to carry out the learning process in accordance with well-planned scenarios, responsibilities, and be serious in order to improve student learning achievement in accordance with the field of study / eye lessons that are his responsibility.

Abstract

Cooperative learning is learning with class settings that are made in groups, which intend to be able to help students in the process of knowledge construction, because in addition to students learning with the teacher, students also learn together with friends in small groups. While the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) type of cooperative learning model is learning with a structural approach (PS) where students are placed in heterogeneous learning groups with 2 members or pairs. This study aims to determine the increase in trigonometric learning outcomes of students of class X IPS 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Maumere with cooperative learning Think-Pair -Share type. This type of research is qualitative research and quantitative research with classroom actions research. The research subjects were students of class X IPS 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Maumere in the academic year 2017/2018 totaling 36 students. The instruments used were test questions and observation sheets. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the Think Pair Share (TPS) type of cooperative learning model could improve student learning outcomes in class X IPS 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Maumere on trigonometry material. This can be demonstrated by an increase in test results starting from the end of the first cycle to the end of the third cycle. At the end of the first cycle test, values> 75 were 16 students (44.4%). In cycle II there was also an increase in which students scored> 75 by 23 students (63.8). Then in cycle III there was an increase in the number of students who scored> 75 by 29 students (80.5%).

Abstract

The purpose of this principal's action research is to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers at Damarbima Inpres Elementary School in preparing the administration of assessment through academic supervision. This type of research used in this research is school action research. The activities in this study consisted of the stages of action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used class observation techniques. The observation instrument used was a teacher's ability assessment tool (APKG) in the form of a learning administration assessment Instrument. Analysis of the data used is a comparative descriptive analysis technique. Quantitative data obtained is described in the form of words or explanations. Data comparison is then performed to ensure whether there is an increase in the ability of teachers in the assessment of learning administration. The results showed the findings that academic supervision could improve the ability of teachers in preparing administrative assessment in learning at SD Inpres Damarbima by 26.2%.

Abstract

Classroom action research (PTK) with the title Efforts to Increase Learning Achievement History Through Cooperative Learning Strategy Jigsaw Student Class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Maumere Semester 1 Year Lesson 2017/2018 aims to increase interest, liveliness and learning achievement of learners of subjects history especially the material development of society and culture in Indonesia which is patterned Islam. This research was conducted in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Maumere . The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Sources of research data include: informants, places and events, and documents. Data were collected using direct observation techniques, tests and document records. The result of this research concludes that the application of cooperative learning strategy of jigsaw technique can increase interest, activity and learning achievement of students of history subject from average value 75,44 with learning completeness 79,41% in cycle I to 79,56 with mastery learning 97.06 on cycle II.

Abstract

The positive impact of excellent service that is evenly distributed at all levels of society in the village office is the inculcation of moral values ​​and benchmarks of public services. This study aims to reveal the form of politeness directive speech acts of village employees in community service at the Tamalanrea Indah Village Office. This type of research is a qualitative description with a natural phenomenon description method. Data source, namely communication between village officials and the community in the Tamalanrea Indah Village Office. Data collection is done by listening and interviewing methods, as well as listening, recording and interview techniques. The results showed that there were six forms of politeness in directive speech act of village employees. The highest politeness level is found in the supplication form because the imperative element of the speaker is disguised. The lowest politeness level is found in the ordered form because most direct speech acts are used, so the imperative element is very clear.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical data about the relationship between students' understanding of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia (Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia) and the state defense attitude at SMK Al-Bahri Bantar Gebang. This research was conducted on grade X students of Al-Bahri Bantar Gebang Vocational School. The research method used was quantitative descriptive method with correlation study approach. The sample in this study was taken randomly using the Proportional Random Sampling technique with a sample size of 40 respondents. The instrument used was a multiple choice test for variable X and a questionnaire with the type of attitude scale for variable Y. The reliability test results for variable X were 0.968 (0.968> 0.444) and Y variable were 0.965 (0.965> 0.444). Hypothesis testing is done using Pearson's product moment formula. Obtained r count 0.656 with r table 0.312 (0.656> 0.312). Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between students' understanding of the Homeland with the attitude of defending the country.

Abstract

This study discusses how to study the financial literacy of sharia accounting students with the Salatiga IAIN mathematical tadris and the impacts arising from every financial management of Salatiga IAIN students. The method of discussion used is discussion, with quantitative descriptive research specifications. This study uses data collection techniques based on primary data through questionnaires. The population in this study were Salatiga IAIN students. The sample in this study were students of Islamic accounting and mathematics TAIN IAIN Salatiga. The results of this study indicate facts about finance on student economics and non-economics which show differences in student financial behavior..

Abstract

This study was designed to address the problem of the low learning outcomes of third grade students of XXV State Elementary School Wailitipada Theme I Subtema I about the Characteristics of Living Things. Based on the records and evaluation results of teachers in the previous Academic Year, for some subjects student learning outcomes have decreased. This condition is caused by the new teacher applying the learning model according to the demands of the 2013 curriculum so that not all learning components can be carried out properly. In addition, the teacher still applies conventional teaching patterns by prioritizing lecture methods in the lesson. Students are less involved in learning, so students become passive, lazy, and do not emphasize teamwork / group learning. To overcome these problems teachers are encouraged to show enthusiasm and present learning materials in new forms, so that students do not feel bored or bored. One way to overcome student boredom is by managing an effective and enjoyable learning process by using a learning model that is fun and attracts students to learn with the teacher. Many learning models that can be used by teachers in learning, one of which is Word Square. Based on the results of research on the application of the Word Square type cooperative learning model in Theme 1 Subtheme 1 about the Characteristics of Living Creatures in class III Wailiti XXV State Elementary School that researchers have carried out in several cycles, the conclusions can be drawn as follows: (a) Application of the learning model Word Squared cooperative type in learning belongs to the very good category and is able to trigger maximum student involvement in the learning process so that it can motivate students to improve their learning outcomes; (b) Student learning outcomes experience changes for the better after applying Word Square type cooperative learning models in learning. Student learning outcomes improve because students are very enthusiastic and actively participate in the application of the Word Square type cooperative learning model.

Abstract

This paper is a theoretical reflection on learning English in terms of a fun and active learning approach. English becomes one of the important soft skills mastered because it will become a necessity in global society. The global association for various interests will fail to achieve the main goals set just because of the longevity of the language. This article is a literature review, with data sources being the results of studies (both empirical / experimental and theoretical) to be analyzed by reflection analysis. Reflection analysis will find highlights from reality that can sharpen our understanding of the learning approach. The main theory used is the Critical Period Hypothesis of Lennerberg. Furthermore, this paper is more descriptive qualitative.The results of the study show that the reality of learning English for elementary school children must pay attention to brain elasticity that is influenced by the approach used. The joy zone gives an opening to the memory bar and the game with a variety of variations provides unlimited stimulation of creativity.
