Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Point Counter Point learning model (opinion debate) in an effort to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes in Indonesian. This research method uses classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles, each activity cycle is; planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII-2 SMP Negeri 4 Mataram, totaling 32 people. This research instrument uses observation, documentation and tests. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Point Counter Point model (opinion debate) can increase students' motivation and learning outcomes. The research data shows that the average score of students' learning motivation in the first cycle (3.38), while in the second cycle (4.31), while the learning outcomes in the first cycle (66.67) and cycle II (79.86) have exceed the established success indicators.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a podcast as an audio-based learning resource and determine its feasibility. This research was conducted using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) on folklore material. In this study, data were collected through observation and interviews, questionnaires and tests, which were then analyzed by paired two-sample t-test. The results of the content expert's review stated that the podcast developed was appropriate. The results of the expert review of audio-based learning resources stated that it was very good, while the review of learning design experts stated that the podcast developed was in the good category. Student responses in field trials showed student responses to the product were very good, which was 92.11%. The results of the calculation of student achievement before and after using interactive multimedia based on the results of the t-test carried out gave the results of t-count = 0.001 (<a = 00.5). The average result of the posttest of students is 86.92, which is above the KKM value set at 75. This shows that the development of podcasts as an audio-based learning resource is feasible to use in the learning process for folklore material.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the activeness and learning outcomes of students' chemistry by applying the Discovery Learning learning model to electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions at SMA Negeri 1 Praya Barat. This research is a classroom action research which is conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were all students of class X-MIPA-1 for the academic year 2019/2020, totaling 31 students. In this study, student learning activities were obtained through observation while learning outcomes were obtained through formative tests. The results of this study indicate; 1) Students' chemistry learning activities increase by applying the Discovery Learning learning model to the electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material according to the two observations in Cycle I of writing and reading activities 50%, doing worksheets 20%, asking friends 10%, asking teachers 5%, and which are not relevant to teaching and learning activities 5% while according to the observations of Cycle II writing and reading activities are 21%, doing LKS 50%, asking friends 13%, asking teachers 16%, and those not relevant to teaching and learning activities 1%; 2) Students' chemistry learning outcomes increase by applying the Discovery Learning learning model to the electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material in Formative I, showing 18 students completed individually, while the class was incomplete while in Cycle II, 28 students completed individually and the class completed with the average of cycle I and cycle II were 69 and 88 and the percentage of classical completeness was 58% in cycle I and 90% in cycle II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the difference in KKM scores between majors/skills programs, as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors in Islamic religious education subjects at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ciputat, South Tangerang. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that; 1) The difference in the KKM value of each department with the smallest KKM value of each marketing department is the KKM value for class X 77.67, XI 70.33 and XII 70.33. While the highest KKM value is in the accounting department with a KKM value of class X 80.67, XI 75.67 and XII 76.67. 2) Supporting factors include facilities and infrastructure as well as teachers who master the learning material. While the inhibiting factor is the level of intelligence of students who are different so that the assessment of PAI and BP subjects does not reach the KKM.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development process as well as the response of students to interactive media in the field of education based on Articulate Storyline on the material of Telephone Communication in English. This research method uses research and development with the ADDIE model. The subject of the research trial was a group of 20 students. X OTKP 1 SMK IPIEMS Surabaya. The data collection instrument used expert validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique of this research used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the process of developing interactive media for teaching and learning based on Articulate Storyline is ongoing with Telephone Communication in English class X OTKP 1 SMK IPIEMS Surabaya carried out through four steps, namely Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation; 2) learning media is categorized as feasible based on the average validation value obtained from the three validators, which is 97%; 3) the results of student responses that obtained an average value of 92%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline on Telephone Communication in English is very feasible to be used for learning media facilities at the learning and teaching stages at SMK IPIEMS Surabaya and getting a positive response in the "very good" category by SMK IPIEMS students. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase student activity and learning outcomes by using interactive media Power Point for students of Class VI Theme 8 at SDN Prantaan. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of 3 cycles with 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class VI with a total of 30 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the average percentage of student activity classically has increased. In the pre-cycle before treatment it was 65%, in the first cycle it was 69%, in the second cycle it was 74% while in the third cycle it was 87%. While the percentage of mastery learning outcomes in the pre-cycle is 33%, in the first cycle it is 33%, in the second cycle it is 73%, while in the third cycle it is 90%. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that learning in Theme 8 using interactive power point media can improve student activities and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the motivation to learn the economics of class XI IPS students at SMAN 3 Kayuagung through the application of ice breaking techniques. The research method used is classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection technique in this research used observation sheets and tests, then the data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the activities of students and student learning outcomes increased in each cycle, namely in the first cycle, students' learning activities increased by 60% to 85%. and learning completeness reached 62.07%. While in Cycle II the learning activities of students were 90% to 97% and learning completeness reached 89.66%. So the conclusion of this research is that the application of ice breaking technique can increase learning motivation and learning outcomes of XII IPS students of SMAN 3 Kayuagung.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student motivation and learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung. through the application of the Student Team Achievment Division (STAD) learning method. This research method used classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The data collection technique in this study used observation sheets, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique of this research used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that: in the pre-cycle student learning mastery was 70%, in the first cycle student learning motivation was 78.12%, for teacher activities it was 79.16%, while for classical learning completeness it was 72.72%, while in the second cycle learning motivation was students increased to 84.37%, for teacher activity increased to 83.33%, while for classical learning completeness increased to 87.87%. So with these results it can be concluded that through the application of the Student Team Achievment Division (STAD) method can increase student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of the application of blended learning-based "Pobiqobra" media on students' motivation and mathematics learning outcomes at MAN 3 Jombang.. The learning media "Pobiqobra" is applied by combining direct face-to-face learning combined with online learning, namely by using powerpoint media, learning blogs, quipper and short geogebra with "Pobiqobra". This study used descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were students of class XI MIPA 4 at MA Negeri 3 Jombang, totaling 35 people. This research instrument uses a questionnaire and the data collected is analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive impact on the high motivation and learning outcomes of students by applying the Pobiqobra learning media. The results of student questionnaire analysis on learning Mathematics are 86% of students feel happy and 98% say the learning media used is very effective and satisfying.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning media and creative thinking skills on learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Al-Ashriyah Sesela Islamic Middle School. The research method used in this study is an experimental with a treatment design by level 2x2. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The research subjects were students of class VII A and B of Islamic Middle School Al-Ashriyah Sesela, totaling 36 students. Divided into two classes with different learning media, 18 people with interactive learning media and 18 people with conventional media. Samples were taken using a multi-stage random sampling technique. The results of the research are: (1) From learning the Educational Communication System, students who use interactive learning media are higher than those who use conventional learning media; (2) There is an interaction between learning media and creative thinking skills on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI); (3) Students with high creative thinking skills, the group of students who learn to use interactive learning media is higher than the group of students who learn to use conventional learning media. (4) For students with low creative thinking skills, the group of students who learn to use interactive learning media is lower than the group of students who learn to use conventional learning media.
