Abstract

This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on social arithmetic topics by applying the Talking Stick learning model. This type of research includes the type of classroom action research. The study involved 23 students from one of the junior high schools in Bone Bolango Regency as research subjects. The technique used in data collection is observation and tests. The technique used in data collection is observation and tests. The data analysis techniques in this study were teacher observation data analysis, student observation data analysis, and test analysis of learning outcomes. The research procedures are action planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in stages with cycles, namely cycles I and II. The results showed that the percentage of students who completed mathematics learning outcomes was 52.20% in the first cycle and 82.60% in the second cycle. Thus, there is an increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes by 30.40%. Based on the study results, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes on social arithmetic material have increased after the implementation of the Talking Stick learning model with two cycles of learning stages.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of the business world requires companies engaged in industry, trade, and services to continue to optimize their business activities to win the market competition. Mikaila Bakery is one of the businesses producing birthday cakes in Gorontalo Province. In the birthday cake business at Mikaila Bakery, so far, the amount of production is only determined by estimates, so profits do not reach optimal profits. This study aimed to determine the optimal profit obtained in the production of birthday cakes at Mikaila bakery using the branch and bound method and to determine the results of sensitivity analysis to changes in the objective function coefficients and constraint functions in the branch and bound method. The analysis results show that using the branch and bound method, Mikaila Bakery's cake shop gets an optimal profit of Rp. 38,433,000 per month or an increase of Rp. 3.4% of the previous profit. The results of the sensitivity analysis show that profits will remain in optimal conditions if the birthday cake business at Mikaila Bakery follows the changes that occur in the coefficient of the objective function and the constraint function based on the upper bound and lower bound according to the output. Which has been generated using POM-QM software.

Abstract

One indicator of education in Indonesia is the gross enrollment ratio (GER). Based on data from Statistics Indonesia, the GER at the senior high school level in Indonesia is still low compared to the GER at primary and junior high schools. Summarizing the findings of prior studies, the factors affecting GER include the number of schools, percentage of poor population, education budget, and student-teacher ratio. Therefore, this study aims to examine the variables that affect GER in Indonesian senior high schools. Since multicollinearity between the predictor variables was identified, ridge regression was employed. This study found that the number of senior high schools, the percentage of the poor population, and the education budget simultaneously had a significant effect and contributed 71.39% to the GER at the senior high school level in Indonesia. It is remarkable to observe that, partially, the number of senior high schools, the percentage of poor people, and the education budget had no direct effect on the GER. Additionally, there was a positive correlation between the variables and GER. The number of senior high schools and the education budget have a favorable impact. In contrast, the percentage of poor people has a negative effect on GER. Meanwhile, the student-teacher ratio does not have a linear relationship with the GER at the senior high school level in Indonesia.

Abstract

Let  be a graph of order n. Let  be a bijection. For any vertex , the neighbor sum  is called the weight of the vertex  and is denoted by where N(v) is the open neighborhood of If  for any two distinct vertices  and then f is called a distance antimagic labelling. If the graph G admits such a labelling, then G is said to be a distance antimagic graph. This study gives a distance antimagic labelling for tensor product of two complete graph and sufficient condition so that the tensor product of a regular graph and complete graph is a distance antimagic graph.

Abstract

A large project requires proper scheduling to obtain the duration of development and costs incurred more optimally. Optimization is submitting the project duration efficient solution by using various alternatives that can be reviewed in terms of cost and time. Optimization problems can be solved using operating research. Selected Critical Path Method and Genetic Algorithm as a compelling method for planning and an methods rolling schedules the Critical Method because this method considers the assumption of time, then the implementation of the project is done without thinking about resources and can also determine when an activity starts and when the end of the project. While the Genetic Algorithm method is a method that can provide quick and efficient results in forming a project schedule. Based on the results of the study obtained that has managed to get the optimization value by minimizing the duration of the project using CPM (Critical Path Method) is 199 days from the total project time of the construction of the health center Biau 210 working days. and the costs incurred due to the optimization using genetic algorithms amounted to Rp. 231,515,082 from the initial cost of the project of Rp.382,784,000.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the student's error in the completion of real analysis using Newman Error Analysis (NEA). The type of research is qualitative descriptive. Which research subjects were 22 students of the mathematics education study program of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo at VI semesters in the 2020/2021 academic year. Data-collection techniques using written tests and interviews. Data is analyzed with reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusion. The result of the study found 4 errors made by students in answering a problem based on NEA: (1) reading, (2) comprehension, (3) transformation, (4) and process skills. This identification can be used by lecturers teaching real analysis to consider supporting the courses and designing learning systems to minimize student errors in solving problems.

Abstract

In the current era, data security disturbances often occur, such as data theft by unwanted people. To overcome security problems can be handled using cryptography and steganography methods. The cryptography process generates random writing that can obscure the message making it difficult for others to read. However, cryptography itself is still too weak to secure messages, so steganography is needed to disguise the existence of the message so that it is not visible to the human eye. Apart from hiding messages, another goal is to know the impact of message insertion. In this study, the encryption steps were followed by insertion and decryption followed by extraction. In the secret message encryption process using two algorithms, namely Vigenere Cipher and Playfair Cipher. In the process of inserting a secret message using Least Significant Bit (LSB) steganography. The results of the combination of cryptography and steganography are able to secure secret messages without causing significant changes even though the digital image used before and after the steganography process has increased in size, the Mean Square Error (MSE) value obtained is 0.000136 and the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) value is obtained. 86.8062 dB and the result of message encryption is enough to obscure the relationship pattern in the modified secret message with an avalanche effect value of 53.06%.

Abstract

Digital printing is a procedure used to print patterns in modern printing using digital methods. In this study, what was discussed were banners, stickers, and invitations. This study aims to find the best method and obtain maximum profit resulting from production on CV Demangan Digital Printing by implementing the branch and bound method and the cutting plane method. The branch and bound method and the cutting plane method solve linear program problems with decision variables in integers. To help solve the case of optimizing the profitability of the digital printing business, the R software. Based on the results of the company's data analysis that has been carried out, it shows that the branch and bound method and the cutting plane method obtain the same maximum profit. The maximum profit obtained is Rp. 61.200.000 by producing 8000 meters of banners, 615 meters of stickers, and 500 invitations.

Abstract

The economy is not always good, meaning it experiences ups and downs. This situation requires forecasting. One of which is the Investment Saving-Liquidity Money business cycle model, which was first introduced by Kalecki in 1935 with the assumption that profits will be saved to be used as initial investment capital, thus causing a delay in the investment process (delay time). The addition of time delay in the system of differential equations causes a change in stability at the equilibrium point so that bifurcation occurs. Another modification given to the model is the use of time delays. The model analyzed in this study is a non-linear IS-LM business cycle model with time delay. Delay time is required for the gross product, capital, and interest rate to be used as an investment. This model was observed in two cases. First Case is a model without time delay. The second case is a model with a time delay. In this case, the critical value of delay is obtained. Hopf bifurcation occurs when the value of delay time is equal to the critical value of delay and satisfies the transversality condition. Observations on the model simulation are carried out by varying the delay time value. When the Hopf bifurcation occurs, the graph on the solution plane shows a constant oscillatory movement. If the value of delay time given is less than the critical value of delay, the controlled system solution goes to a balanced condition. Then when the delay time value is greater than the critical value of delay, the system solution continues to fluctuate, causing an unstable system condition.

Abstract

The Bangka Belitung Islands experience population growth which continues to increase every year. This population growth causes several problems, including water scarcity. The solution to this problem is to use water as a raw source to meet the need for clean water. The source of this raw water is by utilizing Kulong water. This study aims to find a solution by getting the location of the raw water source, namely Kulong, which has an effective distance from the location of community settlements. In this study, the mapping will be carried out using a Geographic Information System (GIS). The results of this study are that there is Kulong ST 12 which can be used as a source of raw water, and the best model for predicting water availability from 2022-2030 is the SARIMA (3,0,3) (3,1,0)12 model. The availability of water for Kulong ST 12 in 2030 is 10.03 l/s, with a water demand of 4.581 l/s in Surya Timur Village. For Reliability, Kulong ST 12, using the Standard Operating Rule (SOR), is able to supply 100% of the needs of the East Surya Output with a 100% reliability level.
