Abstract

Baduy society belongs to the traditional society that allows it to be at the stage of a developing society. The shift in Baduy society is due to the development of the increasingly advanced times so that not only curiosity to the modern world, various new needs become one of the triggers of pikukuh baduy violations. The process of change occurs because of social relations where baduy people often interact with the outside community causing the mindset and orientation of baduy people towards the maturity of rationality of the needs of life. The phenomenon will be dissected by Emile Durkheim's theory, namely mechanical social solidarity and organic solidarity, as well as providing explanations related to indigenous pikukuh as social facts that influence the way baduy people act and think. The basis of this research is the assessment of the concepts and theories about the development of baduy society based on the search for literature contained from books and several articles that have been published. This approach was chosen to understand social phenomena or symptoms by focusing on a complete picture of the phenomenon studied.

Abstract

Efforts to increase fish consumption offer numerous benefits, not only enhancing intelligence but also boosting the fisheries industry. Currently, stunting remains a concerning issue, and data indicates that fish consumption is not evenly distributed across Indonesia. This represents one of the health problems that serves as an indicator of the health and well-being of a community. One of the themes of this community service program (or also known as PPM in Indonesia) is raising awareness about improving children's nutrition among the residents of Majakerta Village, Majalaya District, Bandung Regency. The implementation of the program is conducted in collaboration with student community service (or also known as KKN in Indonesia) activities. The primary objective of this program is to improve children's nutrition through the promotion of fish-based processed food consumption and to educate mothers in Majalaya District about recognizing stunting symptoms and addressing them. The main target of this program is children aged 612 years. The method used in this awareness campaign includes educational games about fish and fish-based processed food to make the material easier for elementary school children to understand. Additionally, one type of fish-based processed food is distributed for children to taste directly, aiming to increase their interest in fish consumption. The results achieved include improved knowledge about the importance of eating fish due to its many health benefits.

Abstract

Mathematics plays a significant role in developing science and technology (also known as IPTEK in Indonesian). However, students' understanding of the contribution of mathematics to the progress of IPTEK still needs to be improved. This study examines the knowledge of senior high school students (also known as SMA in Indonesian) regarding the role of mathematics in developing IPTEK. The method used is a quantitative survey, and questionnaires were distributed to SMA PGRI Cicalengka students. The data obtained were analyzed to determine the level of students' understanding of the relationship between mathematics and its applications in various fields of science, such as physics, biology, and technology. The study results showed that although most students understand mathematics is important in IPTEK, most still need to learn its specific applications in modern technology and scientific innovation. This study suggests the need for more contextual and applicable learning about the role of mathematics in the development of IPTEK so that students can better appreciate and understand the contribution of mathematics in everyday life.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) remain critical issues in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia and Thailand, where industrial growth has led to an increase in workplace accidents and occupational diseases. This study focuses on an international community service collaboration between Thammasat University in Thailand and Indonesian institutions. The program aims to enhance students' understanding of OSH challenges, share knowledge on workplace accident prevention, and introduce ergonomics-based health promotion media. The activities included presentations, discussions, and evaluations to measure knowledge improvement. Results indicated that students significantly increased their understanding of OSH principles, as evidenced by high scores on post-activity quizzes. Additionally, the introduction of ergonomics-based health promotion media highlighted its potential as a preventive tool in addressing workplace hazards. This program underscores the importance of cross-border collaborations in advancing workplace safety and offers insights for scaling similar initiatives across ASEAN countries.

Abstract

Rapid technological and economic advancement has resulted in the proliferation of environmentally detrimental products and consumption patterns, significantly impacting the environment. Plastic pollution has emerged as a critical environmental concern, with Indonesia ranking fifth among the world's largest plastic waste producers. Annually, Indonesia generates approximately 7.8 million tons of plastic waste, of which 4.9 million tons are inadequately managed. For an extended period, Indonesia relied on a linear economic model characterized by a "take-use-dispose" approach. However, a transition towards a circular economic model is currently underway. In response to the significant environmental challenge posed by plastic waste pollution in Indonesia, the government has strategically introduced the Green Economy initiative. This innovative framework, an integral component of Indonesias 2025-2045 Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN), is founded upon a robust and balanced approach that prioritizes three core pillars: economic prosperity, social equity, and environmental sustainability. In response to these challenges, the researchers devised the "Get Points" program, an acronym for Green Economy, Technology, People, and Industrial Tourism. This program was implemented at Ekowisata Cimenteng, located in Cipageran, North Cimahi District. The primary objective of this initiative is to address plastic waste management concerns while simultaneously fostering economic growth within local communities and among stakeholders. The program was executed through an outreach methodology, accompanied by pre- and post-tests for evaluation purposes. Comparative analysis of the pre- and post-test results revealed a notable increase in participant comprehension of plastic waste management issues. This enhancement was achieved through the integration of financial management seminars, digital marketing workshops, and 3D printing workshops, thereby facilitating economic growth for Ekowisata Cimenteng, local communities and stakeholders.

Abstract

In an era of global economic uncertainty, mastering the concept of portfolio management is important for students in preparing themselves to face the challenges of the financial world. This study aims to design financial mathematics learning by integrating Markowitz's portfolio theory and technology-based stock investment simulation practices. The approach used includes the use of digital platforms to obtain historical stock data and stock market simulations for virtual investment practices. The results of the study indicate that the use of this method can improve students' understanding of the concepts of diversification, expected returns, and risk management in investment portfolios. With an interactive and practical approach, students can gain direct experience in building an optimal portfolio based on the Markowitz mean-variance model and implementing it in stock investment simulations. This study makes a significant contribution to the development of students' financial literacy by utilizing digital technology effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the village financial system in minimizing fraudulent practices by village apparatus using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach in Padaasih Village, Cisaat District, Sukabumi Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The informants involved in this study are village apparatus who are directly engaged with the management of the village financial system as part of the village budget management. This study finds that, overall, the implementation of the village financial system in minimizing fraudulent practices by village apparatus using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach has been carried out in accordance with the framework designed to control fraudulent practices at the village level. However, some aspects still show weaknesses in supervising fraudulent behavior, mainly due to the perceived insufficient quality of human resources. Field findings indicate that fraudulent practices do exist in village budgeting, although they are considered minimal. Training and workshops aimed at improving the quality and skills of village apparatus in overseeing village budget preparation through the village financial system are necessary. Additionally, the active participation of the community in monitoring the implementation of village programs should be maximized, from pre-budget preparation to post program realization. This study monitors and evaluates the implementation of the village financial system in minimizing fraudulent practices by village apparatus using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach.
