This effort can be done through various ways such as providing counseling, providing pilots, demonstrating, and publishing media publications. Placement of science and technology correctly and appropriately according to the situation of the people and the demands of development. Providing assistance to the community in identifying problems faced and finding alternative solutions by using a scientific approach. Providing professional services to the community in various problem areas that require careful handling by using expertise and skills that are not yet owned by the community concerned.

Abstract

In the chaos literature, the application of modeling and control of dynamic systems in chaos theory arising in several fields is investigated. In this article we analyze complex financial chaos systems with countries as interest rates, investment demand, and price indices. The proposed chaotic flow's dynamic behavior is examined using phase portraits, eigenvalues, bifurcation diagrams, and Lyapunov exponent spectra. A significant quantity of research on secure communication systems has been published in recent years as a result of the major advancements in communications equipment and encryption techniques. A new voice encryption algorithm design is given using a financial chaos model. An application for voice encryption is conducted using the suggested algorithm, and the outcomes are described.

Abstract

This community service was conducted using a survey method. The survey aimed to test the understanding of high school students regarding the dangers of radiation exposure from the surrounding environment. Participants in this activity were 48 students (35 science students and 13 social science students) from a high school in Majalaya, Bandung Regency. The instrument used was a two-tier diagnostic test consisting of 4 essay questions related to physics concepts concerning radiation exposure. The analysis of the test results was divided into two parts: conception analysis and Rasch analysis. The conception analysis was done by interpreting students' answers and categorizing them into five conception categories: Full Understanding (FU), Partial Understanding (PU), Misconception (MC), Not Understanding (NU), and No Coding (NC). This categorization was presented in percentage form. The Rasch analysis was conducted based on the distribution of students' answers and item bias detection to identify the spread of students' answers to each question item and the biases present. First, the conception analysis results showed that 53% of students were included in the FU category, while only 5% were in the Not Understanding (NU) category. This indicates that students' understanding of the dangers of radiation exposure is quite good, as more than half of the participants are in the FU category. Second, the Rasch analysis results based on the distribution of students' answers showed that more students could answer basic comprehension questions compared to classification and analysis-based questions. Additionally, the Rasch analysis results based on item bias detection indicated that there was no gender or academic major bias in the four question items.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) was motivated by the infrastructure problems of Ciasmara village with many roads damaged due to high rainfall and the village still using contractor services so that indirectly it had to spend more budget to pay for these services. This PkM activity is to provide knowledge and understanding to village officials about how to plan and calculate budgets regarding roads and bridges, heavy equipment used Autocad software, especially with regard to calculating the volume of each work item that has been prepared and will be implemented. The PkM implementation method goes through stages 1) Counseling, 2) Planning, 3) Training and 4) Evaluation. In this activity, village officials can have better insight, especially in terms of planning correct budget plans in accordance with existing (government) laws and regulations, especially those relating to government projects in particular and projects outside the government in general, so that in the future they will become reliable and capable village officials who will support the programs launched by Ciasmara village and provide better progress and contributions.
