Abstract

Online transportation is transportation based on a particular application, where consumers order a means of transportation through an application system on a smartphone. This change in lifestyle is used by business actors to start business competition in the online transportation business. In the competition regarding price, convenience, driver courtesy, and satisfaction, there are various kinds of online transportation including Gojek, Grab, Maxim, and InDriver. In the end, this becomes a consideration for the selection of online transportation for the people of Bandung City. To overcome these problems, a Decision Support System was developed using 5 criteria including: Ease, Service Quality, Product Quality, Price and Emotional. Comparative analysis between the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Simple Multi Attribute Technique (SMART) methods was conducted to find out how well the level of relevance of each method was to real conditions. Based on the ranking results from the questionnaire of 100 respondents from the Bandung City community, it is known that the distance difference between the rankings in the SAW method is 0.994 and the SMART method is 0.92. Thus, it can be concluded that the SAW method is considered relatively more relevant to be recommended in this type of case than the SMART method.

Abstract

The presence of retail businesses in Indonesia has many positive impacts on the community, especially in improving the economy. The existence of buying and selling transactions involving suppliers, retailers, and the community as consumers can play a role in improving the national economy. Retail can be called a bridge for suppliers and consumers to meet their needs. The diversity of consumer needs requires retailers to provide a variety of products from many suppliers. Efforts that need to be made by retail businesses in order to minimize costs incurred are by controlling inventory. To prevent excessive expenditure, the inventory control method used is to apply the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model. The EOQ model can provide the optimum total inventory cost by adjusting the frequency of orders placed over a period of time. After obtaining the total inventory cost, the calculation of safety stock, reorder point, and maximum capacity can also be applied so that the inventory costs incurred can be minimal.

Abstract

Stock is one form of investment that is currently popular, both for young people, parents, and industry. This can be seen from the increasing number of investors and companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This makes investors confused in determining the best stock choices. Analysis of stock selection needs to be done before someone invest so that the selected stock does not lose and can generate optimal profits. This study discusses the recommendation for alternative stocks from the IDX30 index. The parameters for selecting alternative stocks considered include the criteria of Earning Per Share (EPS), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM). Then the weight of each criterion will be searched using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and sorted using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to produce stock recommendations from companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results showed that the Earning Per Share (EPS) criteria became the first priority with a weight of 0,2927, then Return on Equity (ROE) with a weight of 0,2728, followed by Net Profit Margin (NPM) with a weight of 0,2583, and Return on Assets (ROA) with a weight 0,1759. Then alternative results are obtained based on the preference value and ranking 14 companies that have a preference value above 0.5 and can be used as a consideration in making investment decisions, with BBCA as a priority alternative.

Abstract

This paper examines the calculation of accelerated pension funds using two actuarial methods: the Individual Level Premium (ILP) method and the Projected Unit Credit (PUC) method. The case study focuses on PT. Dirgantara Indonesia. We compare the methods' impact on normal contribution amounts, actuarial liabilities, and retirement benefits. The research highlights the advantages and disadvantages of each approach, considering factors like participant age and contribution period. The findings demonstrate that the PUC method generally leads to lower normal contributions but may result in lower final retirement benefits compared to the ILP method. This study provides valuable insights for companies and employees in PT. Dirgantara Indonesia to choose the most suitable method for their accelerated pension plan, considering their financial goals and risk tolerance.

Abstract

Earning profit or profit is the main goal of establishing a company. To know how much budget needs to be spent to achieve the goal, the profit must be calculated first. Break even point (BEP) analysis is one of the tools to determine the estimated profit from the sale of the products offered. However, a high margin of safety (MOS) will protect the company from the risk of loss. The purpose of this study is to determine the profit planning for PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. The method used is a descriptive quantitative method with a case study approach. From the research that has been done, the results show that sales have exceeded the predetermined BEP, as well as the MOS value obtained has a positive trend or an increase. In order to get more maximum results or profits the company needs to also pay attention to achieving sales targets. The target can be achieved if the company can make cost efficiency and increase sales volume.
