Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has provided significant benefits for society, particularly for adolescents as active users of digital media. However, alongside these advantages, the digital space also presents serious risks, including the rise of digital-based violence and sexual violence involving children and adolescents. Such forms include cyberbullying, online sexual harassment, non-consensual distribution of personal content, sextortion, and grooming, all of which can negatively impact mental health, social relationships, and psychological development. National data indicate that cases of gender-based online violence continue to increase annually, with adolescents being the most affected group, highlighting their vulnerability both in digital and social environments. This community service program aimed to enhance digital literacy and adolescent awareness regarding the prevention of digital and sexual violence. Activities included interactive counseling, group discussions, educational video screenings, and involvement of professionals such as psychologists as resource persons. Additionally, digital learning media in the form of educational videos were developed to serve as sustainable tools for adolescents and community groups. A total of 123 adolescents participated, with data collected through pre- and post-counseling questionnaires. Findings revealed a significant increase in adolescent knowledge about preventing digital and sexual violence, rising from 37% awareness to a majority understanding of its forms and preventive measures. Adolescents also showed greater willingness to engage in educational activities and adopt protective behaviors. In conclusion, the program successfully improved knowledge and awareness, enabling adolescents to recognize risky situations and take appropriate self-protection steps. The program is expected to foster safer and more supportive community environments for adolescents.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve students' soft skills, particularly in teamwork and time management, through optimizing technological literacy among students at SMK YPW Krakatau Steel Cilegon. The main problem faced by partners is the low ability of teamwork and effective time management. This is evident from weak coordination within groups, lack of responsibility in completing assignments, and low student discipline in using time productively. In addition, the use of technology by students still tends to be consumptive and has not been directed to support an effective and productive learning process. The method of implementing the activity uses an integrated approach that combines experiential learning, project-based learning (PjBL), and technological literacy. The stages of the activity include preparation, implementation, mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activity show a significant increase in student competency. Based on the results of observations, positive changes in student attitudes, such as increased participation, communication skills, and responsibility towards tasks. This activity contributes to improving the quality of human resources for vocational high school students through innovative, applicable, technology-based learning that is relevant to the needs of the industrial world. This model is recommended for continued implementation and replication in other vocational education programs.
