Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini dibuat pestisida nabati dari ekstrak biji lada dan serai untuk menurunkan hama ulat Dasychira inclusa yang banyak menyerang tanaman kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Tanah dan Air Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Samarinda dan di Sanga-Sanga Kabupaten Kutai Timur.Waktu yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sekitar 2 bulan mulai tanggal 15 Maret sampai 15 Mei 2018, meliputi persiapan alat dan bahan, pembuatan dan aplikasi pestisida nabati serta pengambilan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pestisida nabati terbaik yang dapat menurunkan mortalitas Dasychira inclusa yang menyerang daun sawit di Laboratorium Dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlakuan ekstrak pestisida nabati dari biji lada dan serai tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata dalam mengendalikan ulat Dasychira inclusa pada parameter hari ulat mati ( ekstrak biji lada hari ke-3 mati dan serai hari ke-2 mati) serta ulat Dasychira inclusa tidak mau makan mulai hari ke-2 setelah aplikasi baik perlakuan ekstrak biji lada maupun serai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian pupuk NPK dandosisyang baik bagi pertumbuhan bibit tanaman pala.Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal dengan 5 taraf perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 15 satuan percoban. Umur bibit yang dipakai adalah seragam yaitu 6 bulan.Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah: F0 = tanpa pupuk (kontrol), F1 = 2 gram/polibag, F2 = 4 gram/ polibag, F3 = 6 gram/polibag, F4 = 8 gram/polibag. Frekwensi pemberiannya dilakukan setiap 2 minggu selama 2 bulan. Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunkan Analisis Sidik Ragam (Analiss Of Variance) dan apabila ada yang berbeda nyata di lanjutkan dengan uji BNT (Beda Nyata Terkecil). Hasil penelitian menunjukan Perlakuan pupuk NPK memberikan pengaruh yang nyata untuk peubah tinggi tanaman pada umur 15 HSP dan 60HSP tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata pada peubah diameter batang, jumlah daun dan luas daun. Dosis pupuk NPK optimal dan ekonomis yang dapat memberikan hasil baik adalah perlakuan F4 dengan dosis 8 gram/polibag tetapi pengaruhnya hanya pada tinggi tanaman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kandungan unsur N, P dan K pada kompos dari campuran eceng gondok dan dedak padi dengan menggunakan bioaktivator yang berbeda. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Produksi dan analisa dilakukan di Laboratorium Tanah dan Air Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Samarinda. Perlakuan penelitian adalah pemberian bioaktivator yang berbeda, yaitu Stardec dan Trichoderma pada pembuatan kompos campuran eceng gondok, kotoran sapi dan dedak padi dengan 3 (tiga) taraf perlakuan, yaitu pembuatan kompos tanpa bioaktivator (p0) dan pembuatan kompos dengan bioaktivator Stardec (p1) dan pembuatan kompos dengan bioaktivator Tricoderma (p2). Hasil uji laboratorium menunjukkan bahwa kandungan Nitrogen (N), Phospor (P) dan Kalium (K) paling baik pada perlakuan p2 yaitu 1,400% N, 0,454% P dan 0,768% K.

Abstract

This research is motivated by oil palm farmers, which is in contrast to the high demand for fresh fruit bunches, as the main raw material for producing crude palm oil. On the other hand, oil palm smallholders are also involved in several different supply chains. The purpose of this study was to determine the management of fresh fruit bunches marketing and the amount of profit received by farmers through the marketing of oil palm fresh fruit bunches in Jonggon Village, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative and marketing margin analysis. The method of determining respondents used purposive sampling method and the respondents in this study were plasma and non-plasma farmers, collector traders and plasma cooperatives, and crude palm oil processing factories owned by PT. Niaga Mas Gemilang in Jonggon Village, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The results of the respondents' research are in 2 running marketing channels, namely the first marketing channel, namely farmer-cooperative-processing factory, and the second one is farmer-trader-processing factory. Farmers involved in the first supply chain get a profit of Rp. 900 / kg and the farmers involved in the second supply chain get a profit of Rp. 1070 / kg.

Abstract

This research is motivated because other uses of sawdust in Indonesia are only a few areas, therefore we need another alternative media that can be used to replace the media for sawdust, namely banana leaves. Therefore, this study aims to determine the speed of mycelium growth, the time it takes when the pinhead emerges, the time it takes at harvest 1 and 2, the number of fruit bodies at harvests 1 and 2, the average hood width at harvest 1 and 2, weight of mushrooms. Coprinus comatus at harvest 1 and 2 and the mean BERny value using banana leaves. The method used was to make 15 baglog samples with the planting medium of 100% banana leaves with a total sample weight of 4,500 grams.The important research results are the average period of mycelium growth is 42 Hsi and the emergence of pinhead 1 (small mushroom shoots) is 43 Hsi, then the harvest period 1 is 44 Hsi, the emergence period of pinhed 2 is 48 Hsi and harvest 2 is 49 Hsi. The total weight of harvest 1 was 39.88 grams with the number of fruit bodies 43 and the average number of hood widths was 19.85 cm. The total weight of the harvest 2 was 27.25 grams with the number of fruit bodies 19 and the average width of the hoods was 8.25 cm. The total harvests 1 and 2 were 67.13 grams of the total baglog weight of 4,500 grams. The average BER value of Coprinus comatus for banana leaf media was 1.49%. Overall, the growth rate of mycelium, pinhead and fruiting bodies is relatively slow. It is suspected that the cause of the sufficient time required for the growth of mycelium and the emergence of pinheads and the formation of fruit bodies is the longer fermented banana leaf media or the temperature and humidity conditions in the kumbung that do not meet the optimal conditions for Coprinus comatus mushroom growth or a combination of both.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the average height, diameter and average volume of teak trees (Tectona grandis Linn f.) Planted in 2010 at PT. United Tractors, Tbk Kelurahan. Loa Bakung District. Kukung River in Samarinda City. The results of this study are expected to be taken into consideration for the development of teak plants (Tectona grandis Lnn.f.), Especially in East Kalimantan. The measurement results of teak plants (Tectona grandis Linn.f) aged 7 years were 200 trees with a spacing of 2 m x 2 m with an area of ​​800 m2 in the area of ​​PT. United Tractors Tbk, obtained data on average height of 11.381 m, with a minimum height of 4.37 m, a maximum height of 18.35 m, a standard deviation of 2.97 m and a coefficient of variation of 26.12%. The average diameter is 11.299 cm, the minimum diameter is 2.81 cm, the maximum diameter is 19.33 cm, the standard deviation is 3.31 cm, and the coefficient of variation is 29.37%, the average volume data is 0.095 m3, the minimum volume is 0.002 m3 , the maximum volume is 0.264 m3, the standard deviation is 0.0958 m3, and the coefficient of variation is 62.02%.

Abstract

This research is motivated because currently remote sensing technology continues to develop, both in terms of data collection and processing. This is indicated by the existence of data collection techniques using unmanned aircraft for mapping aerial photographs. The advantage of using this technology is that it is effective and efficient in terms of both time and human resources for mapping in areas that are not too large. Another advantage is that it can produce clearer photos, because the plane's flying height is below 400 meters above ground level so that the shooting process does not experience cloud disturbances. The purpose of this research is to make an aerial photo map at the State Agricultural Polytechnic of Samarinda, to validate objects in aerial photographs and in the field, and to provide information about the area, boundaries, and topography in the area of ​​the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic campus. The implementation of activities and research objects is the area of ​​the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic campus. In this study, a small format aerial photo mapping method with a Quadcopter was used, making it easier to determine the place to start flying (take off) and landing (landing). With Quadcopter rides, runway problems are no longer an obstacle. The results showed that the shooting carried out with a Quadcopter vehicle at an altitude of 200 m above the ground resulted in an area of ​​28.17 ha and a spatial resolution of 8.40 cm / pixel. The results of validation in aerial photographs and in the field using drones have a small difference between 0-4 cm with an average of 1.625 cm / photo. From the results of digitizing campus objects, there are 30 objects on campus with a total area of ​​2.67 hectares. As for the topography results in the campus area, the highest point is 107.5 meters above sea level and the lowest point is 60 meters above sea level.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of knowledge of an employee, especially harvest employees in order to obtain maximum FFB, it encourages researchers to determine the level of knowledge about harvesting. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of harvest employees and determine the level of knowledge of harvest employees about harvesting techniques and harvesting tools used.Collecting data in the research in the form of questionnaires and interviews, the method used is descriptive analysis to describe the level of knowledge of harvesting employees based on the frequency distribution of respondents' answers and responses to questions in the questionnaire.Characteristics of respondents at PT Sawit Sukses Sejahtera based on age at most, namely those aged over 35 years with a percentage of 68%, from education the most, namely elementary school with a percentage of 77%, based on work experience at most 1-5 years with a percentage of 41%. The respondent's level of knowledge on harvesting techniques is in the "know" category because the knowledge level score reaches 59.5. The respondent's level of knowledge of harvesting tools is in the "know" category with an average score of 64.94.

Abstract

The hydroponic system can be a solution for the development of fruit and vegetable crops with various advantages over conventional agricultural systems, where nutritional needs and the growing environment (microclimate) can be manipulated using appropriate technology so that plants can grow optimally.Objective Measuring the success of hydroponics with a remote control system for regulating light intensity, humidity and temperature on the microclimate scale on hydroponic plants and comparing strawberry plants treated with microclimate settings without treatment, by making a cover shade and humidifier with an automation system and temperature sensor. This research was conducted at the Rooftop of Gedung Merah Politani Samarinda for 1 year starting from January 2020 to December 2020. This study used a completely randomized non-factorial one-factor 2-level treatment design, namely P1 = strawberry cultivation with shade treatment and humidifier P2 = strawberry cultivation without microclimate treatment (shade and humidifier). Each treatment level was repeated as many as 20 plants so that the total plants used in this study were 40 plants.The results of this study were the increase in the number of leaves of strawberry plants aged 8 weeks after planting, the highest average was in treatment P1, namely 8.55 cm and the lowest average of strawberry plants in treatment P2 was 6.50, and the increase in the number of leaves of strawberry plants aged 12 weeks after planting, the highest average was at P1, namely 13.7 cm and the lowest average for strawberry plants in treatment P2 was 9.50. While the number of stowberry tillers aged 8 and 12 weeks after planting (mst) P1 and P2 had no significant effect, meaning that the treatment level had no effect on the number of stowberry tillers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the duties of spraying employees at work starting from the daily routine during work and then to analyze the respondents based on their respective characteristics starting from education, age, height, weight and work experience.The method used in observing the activity and working time of spraying employees is a census by observing all of the spraying employees as many as 18 people.The results of the calculations carried out are calculating the distribution of productive, unproductive and personal time of spraying employees for 8 hours of work so that the average productive working time of 18 samples within 8 hours of work is 85.1% and 11.5%. for unproductive time and 3.4% for employee personal time. In addition, the result of the average time for completing tasks in 1 year is 136,320 minutes divided by the working time in a year that has been determined by the company, which is 114,380 minutes and multiplied by the number of respondents as many as 18 people which results in 15.10 or the same as 15 people .The results of this study are expected to be useful for those who read or for those who want to develop existing methods into better and more effective methods and can be used as an evaluation in planning and determining the needs of spraying employees as a consideration and evaluation in the future.
