Background: Scenic Beauty Estimation (SBE) is often used in landscape evaluation of an environment activities. This article aims to examine the influence of sex on perceptions in visual quality assessment. Methods: The method used was SBE analysis and Mann Whitney test using a sample of 46 male respondents and 65 female respondents. Results: The results obtained there are differences in SBE results between male and female respondents. But statistically, this has not differed significantly. Conclusions: Thus it can be concluded that the sample of respondents for SBE analysis does not need to consider sex as long as the desired outcome is not for a certain sex.

Jumlah penduduk negara Indonesia bertambah tiap tahunnya. Sedangkan luas wilayah daratan tidak mengalami peningkatan. Kebutuhan produksi bahan pangan selalu meningkat dari waktu ke waktu. Namun ekosistem daratan yang memiliki fungsi sebagai pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan justru menurun daya dukungnya. Dikhawatirkan 10 tahun kedepan akan terjadi krisis pangan ekstream yang melanda negara Indonesia. Karena ekosistem daratan yang tidak lagi mampu mendukung keberlangsungan kehidupan makhluk. Untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut, pemerintah harus membuat sebuah strategi pembangunan ekosistem daratan yang berkelanjutan. Dengan menerapkan tata cara pengelolaan sumber daya yang berasal dari ekosistem daratan secara berkelanjutan. Agar hal-hal yang dikhawatirkan tidak terjadi. Seperti pengolahan lahan pertanian, perkebunan dan peternakan yang berkelanjutan, pengelolaan kawasan hutan dan pertambangan yang berkelanjutan, serta menghindari kegiatan alih fungsi lahan yang menyebabkan degradasi lahan. Beberapa cara tersebut dapat dikatakan sebagai upaya implementasi konsep pembangunan berkelanjutan dalam pengelolaan ekosistem daratan

Nilai estetika pada tanaman hias anggrek menjadi pendorong terjadinya usaha melakukan konservasi dengan melakukan kegiatan nurseri produksi. Potensi kepopuleran tanaman anggrek yang meningkat dari tahun ke tahun diperlukannya peningkatan kualitas tanaman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif yang bersumber pada kegiatan praktek lapangan dan dilakukan analisis secara literature review. Tanaman anggrek Dendrobium sp. memiliki keunikan dalam segi bentuk, warna, ukuran, serta pertumbuhan yang cepat. Untuk menjawab kebutuhan pasar diperlukannya suatu upaya manajemen yang berkelanjutan dengan menerapkan Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) yang mampu menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan tanaman anggrek Dendrobium sp.

Kawasan mangrove desa Mojo kecamatan Ulujami kabupaten Pemalang memiliki potensi pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan salah satunya sebagai kawasan ekowisata. Pengembangan dan pengelolaan kawasan ekowisata tidak dapat lepas dari keterlibatan masyarakat lokal, penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan ekosistem mangrove serta pemahaman masyarakat untuk menjaga kelestarian ekosistem mangrove. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 33 responden. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa seluruh responden (100%) setuju apabila hutan mangrove desa Mojo dimanfaatkan sebagai kawasan ekowisata meskipun hanya sebanyak 2 orang (6,1% responden) yang menjadikan kawasan mangrove sebagai mata pencaharaian utama. Seluruh responden memiliki sikap menentang apabila ada pengrusakan huan mangrove baik dengan cara menasihati, menegur maupun melaporkan pada aparat, kesadaran masyarakat lokal tersebut dapat menjadi modal yang cukup baik dalam upaya pengelolaan kawasan mangrove secara berkelanjutan.

Background: The planning and development of "Tourism Villages" in Indonesia is currently being carried out in various regions, both in cities/districts from Sabang to Merauke. This is in line with the program and support from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia which is always innovating, providing support and assistance to improve not only the community's economy but also the quality of Human Resources (HR) of the community in tourist villages. Marga Sungsang Village is one of the villages in Banyuasin II District which will be developed into a Tourism Village. This village, which is a fishing village, has environmental potential that can be used as a source of tourist attraction. This study aims to map the potential of environmental tourism resources in the village of Marga Sungsang. Methods:The research method used in this research is qualitative and spatial with a descriptive approach. The data collection method used is by observing the potential of environmental tourist attraction data and mapping tourism potential spatially with the Geographical Information System (GIS). Results: The results showed that the distribution of potential tourist attractions in Marga Sungsang Village consisted of the potential for natural, cultural, culinary, and architectural tourism. Conclusions: The map of the distribution of tourist attractions that is processed with GIS can be used as a base map in making a tourism map and making tourism planning based on environmental potential resources.

Batang Regency, Central Java, has a lot of potential for beach tourism, both those that have been managed and those that have not been managed properly. In determining the beach tourism object according to the designation for tourism, it is necessary to analyze the land suitability of beach tourism objects. Walupiting Beach is one of the tourism potentials owned by Batang Regency which has not been managed. Analysis of land suitability for Walupiting tourism objects was carried out by measuring ten land suitability parameters owned by Walupiting Beach and then adjusted to the designation of coastal tourism. The results of the land suitability analysis obtained a Tourism Land Suitability Index (IKW) value of 91%. The IKW value of 91% indicates that Walupiting Beach is in the very suitable category for land use as a beach tourism. The results of this research are used as suggestions for the government and the surrounding community to determine the management strategy for Walupiting Beach tourism objects. Diversity sweet potato varieties in Cilembu is a form of adaptation of farmers in the face of declining productivity conditions Neerkom variety. This research was aimed to explain the process of turning from one variety to become diverse variety. This research had been done with qualitative method. The data were taken by an intensive interview with farmers, marketer, researcher, and agricultural agent from the Regency Agricultural Departement and also by doing field observation and documentation. The process of replacing Cilembu sweet potato varieties is as follows: Neerkom – Eno – Ubi-ubi Jepang (Murasaki, Beniazuma, Beniazma, Ibaraki) – Rancung – Jawer – Odos – Inul – Bagolo – Rancing. Farmers continue to make selection and adaptation, namely by developing other varieties that can replace the Neerkom variety in order to create sustainable agricultural development in Cilembu Village. It is well known that there are still limited literature related to the dangers of ergonomics in the food and beverage industry, especially in Indonesia. In fact, this industry is very developed in recent times. This article aims to provide information with a literature review related to ergonomic hazards in the food and beverage industry in the last five years. The method used is scientific articles searched using Google Scholar. The results obtained in the last five years, the most reported ergonomic risks are musculoskeletal. Rapid Entire Body Assessment and Ovako Work Posture Analysis System are methods that can be an alternative to identify ergonomic hazards in the food and beverage industry. Education, creation and redesign of space and equipment to prevent ergonomic hazards is a future challenge to achieve occupational safety and health and support work productivity.

Ergonomics hazard in the tofu industry has not been specifically discussed. The purpose of this article is to provide a literature review related to ergonomic hazards in the tofu industry in Indonesia. Ten articles in the last five years relevant to the topic of tofu industrial hazard ergonomics were obtained from Google Scholar and then analyzed. The results obtained by the literature generally discuss hazards in this industry in general without distinguishing between physical, chemical, biological, and ergonomic hazards. There are 28 body points that are often complained about in the tofu industry. There are three main things needed to ensure occupational safety and health related to ergonomic hazards in the tofu industry. These three things include a physical approach, education, and the provision of first aid facilities for occupational safety and health in the tofu industry.

Kesadaran masyarakat dalam kesediaan mereka melakukan pemanfaatan dan pengendalian RTH (Ruang Terbuka Hijau) pada kawasan miliknya itu sangatlah penting. Hal ini mengingat bahwa kesadaran merupakan landasan yang harus dimiliki masyarakat agar dapat diajak berperan dalam proses pembangunan serta pemeliharaan RTH. Oleh karena itu artikel ini akan mengkaji tingkat kesadaran masyarakat dalam pengendalian dan pemanfaatn RTH privat di Kecamatan Semarang Timur. Tingkat kesadaran dihitung berdasarkan tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara dan observasi yang dilakukan di tiga kelurahan di Kecamatan Semarang Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesadaran masyarakat Kecamatan Semarang Timur dalam memanfaatan dan mengendalikan RTH privat dinilai masih kurang baik. Berdasarkan tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku, kontribusi terbesar dari kurang baiknya tingkat kesadaran adalah perilaku yang masih kurang baik.
