Abstract

ABSTRACT Self-confidence is an invaluable attribute in an individual in his social life. This is because with self-confidence, a person is able to actualize all his potential such as public speaking and leadership skills. GenBI Riau is a community of Bank Indonesia scholarship recipients in the Riau area. All members of GenBI Riau received special training, especially in the fields of public speaking and leadership. So the purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence of self-confidence on public speaking and leadership skills in members of the 2021 Riau New Generation (GenBI). This research uses quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population in this study was 331 members, then using the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 181 respondents. The sample determination technique used in this study is the proportionate random sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression and the coefficient of determination (R2). The data analysis techniques used can determine the measurement scale of each variable. The results of the study concluded that self-confidence had a positive effect of 45.8% on public speaking ability and on leadership by 43% on members of the Indonesian New Generation (GenBI) Riau in 2021.

Abstract

The background of this research stems from the conditions that have occurred at the Al Akbar foundation orphanage since the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the last two years had an impact on the Social Welfare Institution in Pekanbaru so that the donors who initially regularly helped slowly stopped donating. This study aims to find out how the Al Akbar Foundation's public relations strategy in overcoming the conditions caused by Covid-1. As a public relations orphanage, operational institutions certainly need a good communication strategy between parties in overcoming the effects of Covid-19. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The methodology used includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and depiction. From the results of the study, it is known that the strategy implemented by public relations in overcoming the conditions due to covid 19 can run well, because it applies the first four strategies of the operational strategy approach; both approaches to strategy responsibility; the third is a persuasive and educative strategic approach, and the last is a cooperative strategy approach. Basically the strategy can be implemented by public relations but needs to be improved on a cooperative strategy approach. Due to the presence of covid-19 as donors stopped providing assistance, but problems can be overcome with the responsibility of public relations to maintain harmonious relationships resulting in new collaborations with new prospective donors for a better future at the Al Akbar orphanage.

Abstract

Akun Instagram @ladyonwheels menjadi salah satu media sosial yang digunakan untuk menyalurkan minat dengan dunia otomotif dan modifikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pesan di Instagram @ladyonwheels dengan minat modifikasi kendaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi yangditeliti adalah followers dari Instagram Ladyonweels yang berjumlah 22.100.000 followers pada tanggal 6 november 2021. Pada penelitian ini, pengikut followers Ladyonwheels memiliki karakteristik homogen atau sejenis karena seluruhnya adalah followers akun Instagram @ladyonwheels dengan jumlah sample 100 followers. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi. Hasil dari uji korelasi menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara kedua variabel tersebut sebesar 0.806. Dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000. hal ini bisa dibuktikan dari pesan yang disampaikan melalui instagram ladyonwheels dengan minat followers modifikasi kendaraan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat pada pesan dalam Instagram @ladyonwheels dengan minat followers @ladyonwheels untuk memodifikasi mobil.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to find out how the role of public relations in the process of socializing the BAZNAS scholarship program, the supporting and inhibiting factors of public relations in the process of socializing the BAZNAS scholarship program, and the results achieved in the scholarship socialization process. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Research informants in this study were the Head of Public Relations, Vice Chancellors III, IV, KTU, BAZNAS UIN SU Scholarship Coordinator, and BAZNAS UIN SU scholarship recipients. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is interactive analysis with the following stages: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The data validity technique used is the source triangulation technique. The results showed that the role of Public Relations in the process of socializing the BAZNAS scholarship program to UIN SU students, namely: 1) the role of Public Relations in the process of socializing the BAZNAS scholarship program as a form of contribution built by Public Relations to socialize the scholarship program 2) supporting factors for the role of Public Relations, namely the support from superiors , PR barriers are the lack of external data and information, the lack of skilled human resources in their fields 3) The results achieved by Public Relations in the process of socializing the BAZNAS scholarship program to UIN SU students are the role of Public Relations of UIN SU as a relationship builder, the role of Public Relations as a facilitator, the role of PR to meet the information needs of scholarships for UIN SU students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation with Dramaturgy theory. The results of research at the Department of Culture and Tourism of North Padang Lawas Regency obtained that the strategy carried out in the publication of Barumun Nagari. indeed must pay attention to several aspects, among others, by implementing the goals and objectives, programs, and policies that will be made.

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan salah satu cara manusia untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya baik kebutuhan pokok maupun kebutuhan berkomunikasi. Masjid merupakan tempat ibadah umat muslim dan juga sebagai tempat penyebaran dakwah. Kebutuhan informasi sangat diperlukan oleh masyarakat karena dengan informasi masyarakat bisa menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan. Memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat terkait informasi mengenai dakwah maka diperlukan manajemen komunikasi dengan menggunakan media yang harus dikelola dengan baik oleh pengurus DKM, sehingga bisa menyampaikan informasi terkait kegiatan Masjid dan juga penyebaran dakwah yang lebih meluas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan metode manajemen komunikasi, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan kegiatan publikasi informasi kegiatan Masjid Jabal Rahmah. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan publikasi kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh pengurus DKM Masjid Jabal Rahmah sudah sesuai dengan Manajemen Komunikasi dengan melakukan perencanaan yang berhubungan dengan kegiatan, waktu, serta brosur yang sesuai dengan tema dan kebutuhan masyarakat dan juga pelaksanaan serta pengawasan yang dilakukan secara berkala oleh pengurus DKM Masjid Jabal Rahmah.

Abstract

Instagram has been growing rapidly in recent years as the most prominent social media platform. Various communities in the world are now familiar with Instagram, including the santri community who study in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools). One of most famous Instagram accounts which makes santri as target audience is @alasantri. This Instagram account has successfully attracted santri in some pesantren in Tulungagung city, East Java. The purpose of this study is to see the use of Instagram as a medium of da’wah by @alasantri account and the motives of santri in Tulungagung in following @alasantri account. This study is using a qualitative descriptive method, using non-participatory observation and interviews for collecting the data. The source of the data are santri of Pondok Pesantren Sirojut Tholibin Tulungagung. The results of this study shows that the strategies used by @alasantri account for da’wah could be classified into academic approach and non-academic approach. Meanwhile, there are some motives of santri in Tulungagung in following @alasantri Instagram account such as cognitive motive, affective motive, personal integrity, personal integration and fantasizing.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In Indonesia, Islam is represented by numerous organizational backgrounds and understandings, such as Nahdatul Ulama (NU), Muhammadiyah, Persis (Islamic Association), Salafi, Al-Irsyad, LDII (Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Institute), and others. Not infrequently, the execution of the recitation by one of the groups rejects, persecutes, or forcibly disbands the study by those who have different interpretations of amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar. Variances in fiqh between organizations and groups are due to postulate technique variances. This research employs a normative juridical, library law research method that involves the analysis of library items and secondary data. The goal of this study is to educate and advise Muslims in Indonesia on how to deal with fiqh disagreements. According to the findings of this study, the act of disbanding and refusing to recite the recitation is suspected of attacking fiqh related to morals to fellow Muslims, because it includes acts of attacking suspicion, igniting it, breaking ukhuwah, and refusing to stay in touch or seek explanations from one another. The importance of communication between Islamic groups and organizations in overcoming this problem cannot be overstated. In terms of positive law in Indonesia, it is suspected of violating Article 28 Letter E paragraphs 1 and 3 of the 1945 NKRI Constitution, Article 28 paragraph 2 of Law Number 11 of 2008, and Article 1365 of the Civil Code addressing unlawful acts. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pemaknaan dan representasi peran budaya patriarki dalam Film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap. Teori yang digunakan untuk mengupas penelitian ini adalah teori budaya Gertz. Objek penelitian ini ialah FilmNgeri-Ngeri Sedap yang berdurasi 1 jam 53 menit 47 detik. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini merupakan metode kualitatif dengan paradigm deskriptif. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis semiotika Charles Sander Pierce. Hasil penelitian menampilkan Film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap berperan dalam budaya patriarki dalam berbagai cara yang dipahami penulis dengan menggunakan teori Budaya Gertz dan pendekatan analisis semiotika Charles sanders pierce, terdapat 10 scene yang menunjukkan budaya patriarki pada film tersebut. Penyampaian adanya budaya patriarki dalam film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap yaitu dengan cara menggunakan tahap ikon, indeks, dan symbol. Tahap ikon ini merupakan tanda yang mirip dengan acuannya atau menggunakan persamaan atau ciri yang mirip untuk memudahkan pemakainya mengenalinya. Tahap Indeks ialah adalah tanda yang terkait atau dekat dengan apa yang diwakilinya dan biasanya menunjukkan hubungan sebab akibat. Sedangkan tahap symbol ialah tanda yang bersifat abriter dan konvensional sesuai kesepatan atau konvensi sejumlah orang atau masyarakat.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah eksistensi media sebagai alat yang digunakan dalam penyampaian pesan-pesan dari sumber kepada khalayak (penerima) dengan menggunakan media komunikasi Media massa seperti media on line, dalam penelitian ini satu di antaranya menekankan agar identitas anak yang menjadi objek pemberitaan harus dirahasiakan Berdasarkan gambaran latar belakang masalah tersebut, Bagaimana sesunggunya Fungsi dan Peran Pers dalam permberitaan terhadap anak berhadapan dengan hukum dan korban dalam kode Etik Jurnalistik berdasarkan No.1/Peraturan-DP/II/2019 diharapkan Pemberitaan tentang anak hendaknya tetap memperhatikan hak-hak dan kepentingan terbaik anak serta menghindari anak dari pelabelan dan kita tahu media sebagai pusat infomrasi harusnya mampu mengedukasi khalayak, termasuk anak-anak. Sebaiknya media memberikan kekerasan pada anak, tidak berfokus pada kronologis yang ada. Melainkan solusi agar kejadian serupa dapat dihindari. Pengunaan kosakata yang vulgar dan gambalang baiknya dikurangai gunakanlah, kata-kaya yang layak diterima dan di pahami oleh anak-anak Jurnalisme online unggul dalam kecapatan harus mulai berbenah diri dengan memperhatiakan akurasi kasus yang diberitakan, tidak hanya mengandalkan kecepatan guna mendapatkan profit.
