Dalam Pengembangan dan pengolahan SDA maritim memerlukan kerjasama multidisiplin ilmu, dimana kesemua disiplin ilmu tersebut berperan besar dalam menjadikan Indonesia sebagai poros maritim dunia. Oleh karena itu diperlukan inovasi dan sinergi untuk menghasilkan riset tentang teknologi kelautan oleh perguruan tinggi, lembaga-lembaga penelitian dan industri dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap issue tersebut. Tujuan Zona Laut adalah sebagai wadah menyalurkan pemikiran, ide-ide cemerlang dan konstruktif komprehensif sehingga menjadi bagian usulan-usulan solusi bagi kemajuan pembangunan Sumber Daya Kelautan Indonesia. Abstract

The Bira-Pamatata crossing transportation service is carried out by three ships, namely KMP Bontoharu, KMP Kormomolin, and KMP Balibo. These three ships have different technical specifications, so the cost of production for the three ships is also other at the 60% load factor level as the basis for determining the tariff. However, the tariffs set for the three ships remain the same. Therefore, it is necessary to decide on the basis of the ship's operating pattern that meets the operational feasibility criteria based on the value of the applicable tariff. The results of the frequency base based on the load factor between the three ships are for KMP Balibo as many as 770 trips/year, KMP Kormomolin as many as 464 trips/year, and KMP Bontoharu as many as 439 trips/year. The method used to determine the basic operating pattern equation approach is the trendline method based on the relationship between frequency and load factor that meets the feasibility of operations. The validation results show that the basic operating pattern equation for the three ships is feasible based on the correlation test results and the mean average percentage error so that the equation can be used as the basis for setting the operating pattern of the Bira -Pamatata crossing.

Abstract

The role of people's shipping or traditional ships as a means of sea transportation is needed to encourage and encourage economic development in underdeveloped areas. This study aims to identify the operational performance of people's shipping vessels at the Port of Pare-Pare. This research was conducted with a qualitative method through semi-structured interviews with the aim of obtaining in-depth information from respondents regarding information on the operational performance of people's shipping vessels and community perceptions regarding the operational performance of these people's shipping vessels. After looking at the discussion presented, it can be concluded that the provision of transportation depends on the supply function. This function describes the correlation between the amount of goods offered by the market and the price level offered. The number of transportation services available depends on several factors, including vehicle capacity, road and terminal capacity, as well as the level and quality of management.

Abstract

Bencana banjir rob merupakan fenomena yang sering terjadi di kota yang terletak ditepi pantai atau wilayah kawasan pesisir. Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kepulauan merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang berada di pesisir bagian utara Provinsi Kalimantan Barat tepatnya yang berada di Kabupaten Bengkayang, dimana kawasan pesisir Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kepulauan termasuk kawasan pesisir yang rawan terjadinya bencana banjir rob. Sejalan dengan permasalahan tersebut, perlu adanya upaya mitigasi bencana berbasis GIS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk upaya merekomendasikan mitigasi bencana melalui pemetaan daerah rawan bencana banjir rob. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif karena analisis pemetaan daerah rawan bencana dalam upaya mitigasi bencana berbasis GIS dilakukan dengan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis melalui overlay peta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan daerah rawan banjir rob tertinggi berada di daerah pesisir Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kepulauan dengan luasan sebesar 1715,17 Ha, hal ini dikarenakan di daerah tersebut memiliki nilai ketinggian lahan dan kemiringan lereng yang cenderung rendah. Pada hasil analisis peta luas terdampak banjir rob di wilayah pesisirnya didominasi pada kategori tinggi dengan luasan seluas 1102,20 Ha. Berdasarkan hasil peta analisis rawan bencana banjir rob, dapat direkomendasikan upaya mitigasi bencana banjir rob yang terdiri dari tahap pra bencana, tahap saat terjadi bencana, dan tahap pasca bencana banjir rob.

Abstract

Situbondo regency is one of the regencies located on the north coast of east java province which has potential in the fisheries and marine sectors. The sea area in Situbondo Regency is 1,142.4 km2. Geographically, these potential areas are concentrated in coastal areas with fishing, pond aquaculture, freswater aquaculture, seawater aquaculture, hatcheries and fishery prosessing businesses. Aquaculture businesses growing rapidly in Situbondo Regency, namely vaname shrimp aquaculture. The survival of vaname shrimp is influenced by the quality of water used. Alkalinity is one of the water quality parameters that impartant in the growth of vaname shrimp. Alaklinity that is to low will cause the shrimp can change their shells or molt frequently. Shrimp tat molt too often will be susceptible to disease and the threat of cannibalism due to the weak condition of the shrimp. In addition , too low alkalinity can also cause the shrimp fail to molt so that the shrimp can die. Besides that, if the alkalinity is too high, it will be difficult for the shrimp to molt so that their growth is not optimal. Water quality testing with alakalinity parameter was caried out at several pond location as samples, namely location 1 in Demung village, besuki district, location 2 in Kilensari village, Panarukan district, location 3 in Sletreng village , Kapongan district dan location 4 in Agel Village, Jangkar district. The research was conducted for 1 year with testing every 2 weeks. The result of measurements of alkalinity in Situbondo waters from november until November 2022 were ini the range of 90- 145 ppm. Thies value is still classified as appropriate to support pond-based shrimp farming based on water quality standart by PERMENT KP No.75 of 2016 concerning general duidelines for shrimp aquaculture stating that the level of alkalinity in water should be range of 80- 150 ppm. Meanwhile, number of Ca2+ level that support hardness are also in safe range for the survival of vaname shrimp, which below 500 ppm. Keyword : Alkalinity, Water Quality, Pond

Abstract

Vibrio sp. can also be used as an effort to monitor pond water quality. So cultivators must understand the dynamics of pond water quality fluctuations, by periodically controlling pond water quality parameter conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Vibrio populations and environmental factors in Vannamei shrimp ponds. Sampling was carried out for one year in Vannamei shrimp ponds with 4 different locations namely Demung, Panarukan, Jangkar, and Sletreng. Water samples were taken from the inlet (intake channel) in each pond. The data obtained was then analyzed using statistical methods, namely multiple regression analysis. The results of the correlation analysis showed that the relationship between total vibrio and alkalinity and organic matter during the study was shown by a correlation value of R = 0.226, which means the correlation between alkalinity and organic matter to total vibrio was 0.226. The R² value indicates a coefficient of determination of 0.51, which means that the effect of alkalinity and organic matter on total vibrio is very weak, namely 5.10%.

Abstract

This study aims to identify, determine, and control sources of danger that can cause work accidents at container ports which can be caused by container loading and unloading activities from ships to Container Yards. The research method used is quantitative using questionnaires, observations, and interviews as research instruments. The research sample was 116 workers involved in container loading and unloading activities at the port. The results of the study show that the level of implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMKK) in ports is still lacking and needs to be improved. The recommended hazard source control strategy is ensuring activities are carried out by experienced operators, providing training to operators, and checking and maintaining the unit so that it is in a proper operating condition. This research is expected to contribute to the development of occupational safety and health at container ports.
