Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The Batu city government is committed to developing halal tourism, especially in meeting the needs of halal food for Muslim tourists. Food that comes from slaughtered animals has a halal critical point that needs to be considered in order to ensure the health and inner peace of the community when consuming meat by providing ASUH meat. Having a certified halal slaughterer and authorized officers to carry out antemortem and postmortem inspections is necessary as a form of consumer protection and implementing halal tourism in Batu City. Training assistance activities were carried out to find the right model for optimizing the competency certification of halal slaughterhouse officers at poultry slaughterhouses in Batu city. This research uses a quantitative descriptive research design and partial least squares (PLS). The results of the research show that before assistance was provided, respondents had low knowledge and abilities regarding the 13 SKKNI competency units so that the halal standards for slaughtered animals were not met, whereas after assistance was provided, respondents met slaughter standards so that the results of their slaughter could be categorized as halal and toyibban and consumers would be protected as halal. Appropriate training and certification is carried out for 7 days, 56 hours of learning and 13 competency units. Effective learning for respondents is at 13.00—17.00 WIB and continued with field practice at the RPA at 19.30—22.00 WIB respectively by applying the one day one competency learning model.

Abstract

The breastfeeding support is crucial for nursing mothers, and one aspect of this support is the motivation provided by healthcare professionals in delivering maternity services to breastfeeding mothers, particularly regarding hypnobreastfeeding and lactation massage. An individual's motivation is significantly influenced by their knowledge of specific subjects. This quantitative research employed an analytical method, utilizing a cross-sectional design. The study was conducted in the Maternal and Child Health Center of Padang City from September to October 2023. The research sample consisted of 40 midwives working in the Maternal and Child Health Center in Padang. The analysis used the chi-square test with a confidence interval of 95%. The research findings indicate that the majority of participants with insufficient knowledge about hypnobreastfeeding had low motivation (41.17%), compared to those with high motivation (8.70%). The statistical test result using the chi-square test yielded a p-value of 0.035 (p≤0.05). Meanwhile, in terms of knowledge about lactation massage, the majority with insufficient knowledge had low motivation (23.53%), while those with high motivation had no insufficient knowledge (0%). The statistical test result using the chi-square test yielded a p-value of 0.046 (p≤0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge about hypnobreastfeeding and lactation massage and the motivation of midwives to provide information

Abstract

In the relationship between religion and culture, there are institutions that have legitimacy to overshadow both, one of which is religious institutions. Huria Kristen Batak Protestant (HKBP) as one of the religious institutions is seen as a place of spiritual fellowship and cultural fellowship (Batak) that has legitimacy to preserve. This preservation departs from the phenomenon of fading Batak cultural identity among the Young Generation of Batak Christians today in the midst of hybrid culture is an interesting thing to research. This research is a case study using qualitative methods with the aim of explaining the role of HKBP Church in efforts to preserve Batak Cultural Identity Among the Young Generation of Batak Christians with a Case Study of HKBP Cinta Damai Church. The results showed that HKBP became a place of spiritual and cultural communion based on the historical history of the cultural journey of the HKBP Church. However, the mixing of cultures (hybrid) due to the times makes the Batak Christian Young Generation have no interest in their identity besides the parental factor that does not inherit. Social Construction The role of HKBP Cinta Damai Church in preserving Batak Cultural Identity in building social practices received a positive response and interest from the Young Generation of Batak Christians

Abstract

This research explores the implementation of legalities faced by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in tourist villages, with a focus on understanding and compliance with applicable regulations. The research method involves in-depth interviews with MSME owners and related stakeholders in the tourist villages selected for the survey. The research results identified that MSMEs in tourist villages often face difficulties in understanding and fulfilling the necessary legal requirements, such as business permits. These findings highlight the need for a more integrated approach and active assistance from relevant parties, including government and non-government organizations, to increase MSMEs' understanding and compliance with applicable regulations. Abstract

The current cases of trafficking in persons seen from the many news reports in social media and print media show how much special attention is needed regarding the crime of trafficking in persons. This research uses a qualitative method. We conducted this research at the Cirebon Regency Police, the Sumber District Court, the Sumber District Attorney's Office, and at several law firms to process data regarding victims of human trafficking crimes that occurred in Cirebon Regency, so that we can find out what factors can become a victim of human trafficking. The victim's own involvement in what happened because of various activities such as recruiting, transporting, and hiding someone for exploitation, including sexual, forced labor, or slavery. Conflict and violence in society also exacerbate this condition, forcing people to seek a better life. Efforts to protect victims of human trafficking have been provided, including various elements of legal protection including being listed in the law, providing physical and psychological assistance, international cooperation and prevention which are considered to reduce the risk for people to become victims of human trafficking.
