Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the management of human resources in developing the quality of education. This research is a qualitative research that is literature study using data sources in the form of reference books and scientific journal articles. The results of this study are human resource management is very important in improving the quality of education. Education can progress and develop with the support of qualified human resources. Therefore, every education that wants to progress and develop must pay attention to human resources and manage it as well as possible so that quality education is realized. In improving quality, human resources become influential because human resources in this case educators are a central factor in education, considering that it is very important in improving the quality of education. With the use of human resources by managers (leaders) in an organization or educational institution effectively and efficiently, it will take advantage of the goals of the educational institution, and the utilization of human resources starts from proper planning, solid organization, proper and professional staffing, Guidance and supervision that are not properly controlled will ensure the functioning of the managerial process. Abstract

A rice drying machine is a machine that functions to dry rice where the working system uses a blower and also a heating furnace to channel hot air which ultimately dries the rice in the drying process, the rice is placed in a holding tank where at the bottom of the reservoir there is space or a cavity to channel hot air. fired by a blower. The components in the Rice Dryer Machine are Blower, Cover Blower, Shaft and Frame. In the rice dryer blower there are wings that surround the cover which functions to concentrate the air going to the blower to be fired, the wings on this blower cover must have the same length and width. suitable for optimizing the work process on the blower. This research aims to make malls or tools that can be used to make it easier for workers to make wings so that the production process runs more optimally and the wings made will be more precise. The data obtained from the research is by measuring the object using a measuring instrument and then conducting a case study to find data on the specifications and components of the rice dryer. The results obtained from this design are the length of the mall is 39.25 cm, the height of the mall is 3.925 cm, the angle of the mall is 45°, the number of wings to surround the cover is 8 wings, the overall time of making the wings after using the mall is 2.880 seconds, the materials used namely Black Iron Plate / Base Plate. From the calculation of the overall time of making the wings before using the mall, it takes 4,800 seconds and it can be concluded that after the design of the mall/tools the time of making the wings becomes much faster.

Abstract

Transportation problems are an important aspect of everyday life. Transportation is also a very important component in the logistics management of a company. The process of distributing goods is one example. The product distribution route of PT. Unicharm Indonesia started from the CV warehouse. Jaya Abadi to the destination area has so far been less than optimal because in determining the route at this time the company does not have a special method used in determining the route, it only uses an estimate of the distance by looking at the number of requests without considering the vehicle capacity and distance from the warehouse to the destination, so it will affect the number of vehicle use can result in high transportation costs. This study aims to determine the optimal route and determine the minimum distribution cost savings. Product distribution of PT. Unicharm Indonesia conducted by CV. Jaya Abadi covers 2 provinces, namely Central Java Province and East Java Province. For distribution, use a fullbox truck with a capacity of 1,300 cartons. The data used are the distance between warehouses and agents and the distance between agents, the number of requests for each agent, and vehicle capacity. Data processing for determining the shortest route used the Saving Matrix method and for route sequencing the Nearest Insert and Nearest Neighbor methods were used. The results of the calculation in Central Java Province that resulted in a mileage of 3,086.3 Km there was a saving of 16.61%, a travel time of 4,629.55 minutes a saving of 8.92%, and a vehicle operating cost of Rp. 4,073,267,- 21.6% savings. East Java Province, which resulted in a mileage of 4,457.3 Km saving 25%, travel time 6,625.9 minutes, saving 0.6%, and vehicle operating costs Rp.3.739.744 saving 46.1%.

Abstract

Ergonomics is a discussion of activities that refer to a work system that is healthy, safe, and comfortable for workers. The results of a study by the Ministry of Health in the health profile in Indonesia in 2005 that 40.5% of the illnesses suffered by workers were related to their work for disorders experienced by 9,482 workers in 12 districts/cities in Indonesia, 16% of whom experienced Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). In this research, the object under study is the parts of production at PT. XYZ itself uses the Rappid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method and the Nordic Body Maps NBM questionnaire. Based on the results of the NBM questionnaire) the final score of each sewing machine work station with the final score of the first worker is 66 risk level 2 and the second worker gets a final score of 74 and has a risk level of 3. From this risk level, it can be concluded that the highest final score is on the second worker with a risk level of 3 so urgent repair is needed. Based on the results of the assessment of work posture using the RULA method on workers for Table A which consists of the upper arm, forearm, wrist and wrist rotation, the final score is 6. is 5. For Table C the combined final score of Tables A and B is the final score to get 6.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a business that specializes in the development of a wide range of different veterinary pharmaceuticals. It is possible to say that the quantity of output is unreliable, and evidence of this can be found in the production figures, which have both reduced and grown on a monthly basis. The purpose of this research is to conduct an investigation on PT XYZ's current levels of labor productivity. For the purpose of this research, the technique of partial productivity was used to determine the level of labor productivity for each month. Because the results of the computation are more than 100 percent or 1 (one) each month, the value of labor productivity in the production section on production outcomes throughout 2021 at PT. XYZ is satisfactory enough. The value of the whole workforce's partial productivity for one year is 69.54 percent, with an average value of 5.795 percent.

Abstract

Potential hazards in the workplace can result in work accidents and occupational diseases. One of the controls against work accidents is the availability of a first aid kit in the workplace. This study aims to evaluate the application of First Aid in Kalimas Port according to Permenakertrans No. 15 of 2008 concerning First Aid in the Workplace. This study used an observational study with a cross sectional. The population in this study were 53 Kalimas Port workers who worked in the warehouse area of ​​PT. Port of Indonesia (Persero) Regional 3 Sub Regional Java. Samples were taken as many as 30 workers with accidental sampling technique. Collecting data using questionnaires and observation sheets based on Permenakertrans No. 15 of 2008. The results showed that 21 workers (70%) did not know the implementation of First Aid in Kalimas Port. The requirements for the first aid officer at Kalimas Port have been in accordance with the regulations set by the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration No. 15 of 2008 which is certified, physically and mentally healthy. The completeness of the first aid facilities, such as the appropriate room, of the 8 first aid boxes available, the contents of all the boxes did not meet the standards; the placement is not clearly visible, 6 of them are located in an inadequate room; 2 boxes are hard to reach; and there is no green first aid symbol yet. There is no means of transportation (ambulance) and shower in additional facilities. The application of First Aid at Kalimas Port was not appropriate, it was found that the box and contents of the First Aid were not in accordance with the standards and workers' knowledge of the application of First Aid was still lacking. Therefore, it is recommended for the company to carry out socialization to workers, improve maintenance and create a logbook for monitoring the first aid kit and contents, adding amap to find out the location of the first aid kit at the Kalimas port.

Abstract

The use of induction motors without proper maintenance, or the use of motors that have been used for a long time will quickly be damaged, such as overheating (overhaul), overloading the power output, burning the motor, etc. All damage can be experienced by induction motors. Therefore, one way that can be done is by repairing (repair). Assessing an induction motor that has been repaired is to analyze the vibration of the induction motor, which must have a value according to ISO standards. In this study using a 250 kW induction motor as the object of research, the repair analysis starts from the initial inspection for physical damage, electricity, and measurements according to standards. Followed by the induction motor repairing process, then re-measurement to assess the repair according to applicable standards and analysis of vibration velocity and acceleration is carried out to determine the final result. The results of repairing a 250 kW electric motor on the bearings have undergone changes and repairs by adjusting the EASA tolerance hole, the shaft requires balancing treatment, and the vibration results measure in the horizontal (H), vertical (V), and axial (A) directions of the induction motor with Hinlet Veleocity RMS value 0.293 outlet

Abstract

The problem of poverty is a problem that often occurs in various regions in Indonesia, officials in West Dawuan Village continue to overcome these problems with various government assistance, one of which is Direct Cash Assistance (BLT). Often times in West Dawuan Village, there are obstacles in the distribution of the Direct Cash Aid funds received by parties who do not meet the criteria, there are residents who receive BLT successively and policy-making errors have a negative impact on the use of aid, especially in West Dawuan Village, Karawang. Using data mining clustering techniques, it is possible to group prospective beneficiaries according to the criteria to overcome these problems. This study uses the K-Means algorithm to classify BLT recipients in Dawuan Barat Village. The evaluation results from the resulting K-Means clustering model were then evaluated by using the SSE (Sum of Square Error) test. From the resulting K-Means clustering model, recommendations for prospective BLT recipients will be known according to the applicable criteria. With the help of the elbow method, the value of k=6 is obtained as the optimal k value and the results of the SSE cluster 6 test produce the best value among other clusters, which is 24551994078884.86. As a recommendation for BLT recipients, it can be done based on the best results from the SSE evaluation, namely cluster 6

Abstract

The coil type heat exchanger is one of the important parts in the process of transferring heat from the exhaust heat to the water. This coil type heat exchanger has not been widely used in combustion exhaust gases. Heat transfer from gas to water in the coil is carried out by conduction and convection along the exhaust. The heat received by the water in the coil will change the liquid phase into steam and then the water vapor will naturally move to flow in the heat exchanger. The volume of water in the coil is half of the volume of the coil heat exchanger pipe. From the results of my research and simulations, the water in the water tank can be heated up to 82 oC. This heat exchanger is able to transfer heat from the hot water coming out of the heat exchanger in the exhaust into the water in the water tank (shell) as much as 2 liters. The final result of the calculation required a heat flow rate of 158.13 Watt.

Abstract

Research has made efforts to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the work area of ​​PT. Rosaria Bakery. This study aims to determine how occupational safety and health programs are implemented in an effort to prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus in the work environment of PT. Rosaria Bakery has formed a Covid-19 Team which has established Working Guidelines for the New Normal Conditions. This work guide contains several modules that must be adhered to by all employees and other related parties to PT. Rosaria Bakery, including the Work From Home module, the driving module, the receiving guests and packages module, the meeting module, the dining module (canteen), the prayer prayer module, the janitor module and the Work Guide. The purporse of this study is to monitor the implementation of occupational safety and health programs carried out by workers in an affort to protect all employees. And this method han an employee as a resource person who is working some where by isong validation and reliability test.
